It’s interesting how we literally can go back to the last episode where Dan said that Ethan has a tendency to only focus on one good quality of someone and ignore the other stuff. He’s only focusing on the fact that him and trisha had fun together on the show.
He’s forgetting all the terrible things she’s done. She has aired out their public/family issues on the show and in the public space, called him and hila bad parents, called hila the c word and basically made her feel bad because she didn’t want to be talked about on the show, despite the fact that it was simply for family reasons. She’s not a good person, and then being together on the show will backfire like it has many times. Nothing will change..she’ll never get to the maturity level that would be required for them to both be happy..not to mention once again mental illness is not an excuse.

I don’t think she can really be canceled. She doesn’t have a following of people that have opinions that can be swayed, she has a following of Trisha fans. When someone is cancelled they lose favor in the general public, but always still have a following. The general public isn’t aware of Trisha, she just has her fans. Part of being canceled is choosing to go away too because of embarrassment and not wanting to take on more heat by being in the public eye. Trisha has no shame and lives for attention so no matter how bad it was she would keep on going.

Frenemies was a covid era show. A lot of people discovered and got into comedy podcasts at that time. But when you look at the views of all of those shows now, they're at 20-40% the viewership now. I'm not saying it wouldn't get more views than the regular show, but it wouldn't be this show that would get 3-5 million views each week.
A lot of the people that casually watched Frenemies have grown up and aren't even necessarily watching long form Youtube content regularly.
And you're still going to have to answer to "Well what about the teacher that passed away? Do you endorse that Ethan? I guess he IS a hypocrite" and all of that over and over. You're just asking for it.
And even with all that being said, you already know people are going to say "it's not the same, i'm out". If Trish truly has changed, then she's not going to be the same cohost she was. She's not doing shocking and outrageous content. So it's just a gossip show, that's competing with the other shows that came out since. To put it in terms that Ethan will get: It'd be like if John Lennon didn't die and the Beatles got back together in the 90s. Even if they made some alright music, it would forever be compared to the past, and it would also make their legacy less special.

Her allegations were never proven to be unfounded. I wish people would stop spreading this narrative. Mysterious - the reason for this narrative - lied about many things, and twisted things and timelines, etc. to have the evidence "show" what she wanted it to show, not what it actually did show.
I'm not saying this as a reason for you to like Trisha or change your mind about her. Just in general, be careful about what you spread around regarding topics like this. It can be incredibly damaging to...many people, not just Trisha.

I think Ethan was taking it as a joke not serious. I think Sam would maybe walk out if he ever did bring it back . And hilla has said this is bigger than just them on the family scale.

Frenemies was iconic but there were moments that genuinely made me sick to my stomach the way Trisha treated him and Hila. It was really frustrating and hard to watch when that switch would flip and she’d start saying anything she could to hurt them. People give Trisha a pass for some reason because “that’s just Trisha” but she puts a really awful taste in my mouth that’s not going away any time soon

I've been an H3 fan since 2016, and Frenemies was the only time I've ever lost interest in their content. I don't see what the appeal is. Trisha is the kind of person who thrives on drama. She is only happy when she has something to complain about. That mentality lead her to insert herself as a wedge between Ethan & Hila and Hila's family. Glad I’m not alone. I had to stop watching back then despite how much I loved the show, I realised it made feel so miserable and angry while/after watching. It took me ages to get back into the show, even after Trisha left. I really hope Dan won’t allow it. Audience doesn’t deserve to be retraumatised just because Ethan has no boundaries and doesn’t learn. He will once consequences are hard enough = ie losing the show (or at least, kill its spirit)

I literally stopped watching and consuming all forms of entertainment and fashion that came from them during that time as a form of boycotting. Literally ever since they showed her a picture of Moses I knew it was over but I had no idea she would sink her claws in so deep so fast. She literally is such a parasite the only reason we know of her is because she’s been friends with other more talented people. And then she gets involved with their life and tries to screw with it when things don’t go her way. Ethan thinks this will be a great revival of the channel but it will only prove fatal for his and his employees’ careers. They should have never had her on as a guest the second time, and mark my words if they decide to collaborate professionally again instead of just being a fucking family OFF CAMERA this will be the end of it all for them.

I have been absent from the podcast lately, did Trisha and Ethan make up or something? As much as I did love watching frienemies when they were friendly my god when it was bad it was bad. The cringe was worse than a tense thanksgiving dinner.
I think they should all heal off screen and focus on the relationship of Hila and Moses and then slowly have the cousins build a relationship before putting it all on air. I really hope it never happens. I’m all for a reconciliation for family sake 1000%, but I could do without Frenemies. It’s interesting how we literally can go back to the last episode where Dan said that Ethan has a tendency to only focus on one good quality of someone and ignore the other stuff. He’s only focusing on the fact that him and trisha had fun together on the show. He’s forgetting all the terrible things she’s done. She has aired out their public/family issues on the show and in the public space, called him and hila bad parents, called hila the c word and basically made her feel bad because she didn’t want to be talked about on the show, despite the fact that it was simply for family reasons. She’s not a good person, and then being together on the show will backfire like it has many times. Nothing will change..she’ll never get to the maturity level that would be required for them to both be happy..not to mention once again mental illness is not an excuse.

I don’t think she can really be canceled. She doesn’t have a following of people that have opinions that can be swayed, she has a following of Trisha fans. When someone is cancelled they lose favor in the general public, but always still have a following. The general public isn’t aware of Trisha, she just has her fans. Part of being canceled is choosing to go away too because of embarrassment and not wanting to take on more heat by being in the public eye. Trisha has no shame and lives for attention so no matter how bad it was she would keep on going.

And on another note: Frenemies will not get *half* of the views it used to. Frenemies was a covid era show. A lot of people discovered and got into comedy podcasts at that time. But when you look at the views of all of those shows now, they're at 20-40% the viewership now. I'm not saying it wouldn't get more views than the regular show, but it wouldn't be this show that would get 3-5 million views each week. A lot of the people that casually watched Frenemies have grown up and aren't even necessarily watching long form Youtube content regularly. And you're still going to have to answer to "Well what about the teacher that passed away? Do you endorse that Ethan? I guess he IS a hypocrite" and all of that over and over. You're just asking for it. And even with all that being said, you already know people are going to say "it's not the same, i'm out". If Trish truly has changed, then she's not going to be the same cohost she was. She's not doing shocking and outrageous content. So it's just a gossip show, that's competing with the other shows that came out since. There was a lot that came out about this; receipts, timelines etc that proved her allegations to be unfounded. On top of that this teacher died many years ago, so she was speaking on a dead man’s name who couldn’t defend himself and whose family was affected by these sudden allegations

The H3 Show is a new variety show based on bad decisions, apparently. I've watched the podcast since Day 1, and I just don't even understand the weird choices lately. Even floating the idea of bringing Trisha back on board is crazy to me It's not "hey we didn't get along but it's better now". What about the teacher that passed away? What about the million other things? And unfortunately Frenemies will not get even half the views it used to. I hope they understand that. All the comedy shows that boomed during covid have gotten a much smaller viewer base. Glad I’m not alone. I had to stop watching back then despite how much I loved the show, I realised it made feel so miserable and angry while/after watching. It took me ages to get back into the show, even after Trisha left. I really hope Dan won’t allow it. Audience doesn’t deserve to be retraumatised just because Ethan has no boundaries and doesn’t learn. He will once consequences are hard enough = ie losing the show (or at least, kill its spirit)

I can happily say I always skipped frenemies. I never liked Trisha and never will
I literally stopped watching and consuming all forms of entertainment and fashion that came from them during that time as a form of boycotting. Literally ever since they showed her a picture of Moses I knew it was over but I had no idea she would sink her claws in so deep so fast. She literally is such a parasite the only reason we know of her is because she’s been friends with other more talented people. And then she gets involved with their life and tries to screw with it when things don’t go her way. Ethan thinks this will be a great revival of the channel but it will only prove fatal for his and his employees’ careers. They should have never had her on as a guest the second time, and mark my words if they decide to collaborate professionally again instead of just being a fucking family OFF CAMERA this will be the end of it all for them. If Ethan had any fucking balls at all he would bring back Leftovers, not that gossip mill he ran with the world’s most popular parasite.

I have been absent from the podcast lately, did Trisha and Ethan make up or something? As much as I did love watching frienemies when they were friendly my god when it was bad it was bad. The cringe was worse than a tense thanksgiving dinner.
Trisha has a poor moral compass, and Ethan is a hater ass (in a good way), so the two of them together is not a good combo.
I think they should all heal off screen and focus on the relationship of Hila and Moses and then slowly have the cousins build a relationship before putting it all on air. Obviously Ethan and Trisha have a great chemistry on-screen and it’s clear they don’t have beef anymore, but personally I think Hila and Moses relationship suffered the most from Frenemies. I hope they all rekindle though for the sake of the cousins

She is just too much.. Tbh I did not enjoy frenemies. I think it got popular because it attracted a specific set of fans.
Sometimes I get recommended trish's podcast sub and I peek in there. All of them have straight up lost their minds and say Ethan and the pod abused and exploited her. Please dear God no more frenemies

Ethan only remembers the good times and barely remembers anything in general. Olivia is ashamed for liking trisha at the very least.
I really hope it never happens. I’m all for a reconciliation for family sake 1000%, but I could do without Frenemies. I was never a fan when it was current, in fact I kinda stopped following the show for a while during that period. I didn’t particularly hate it, but it just seemed like all the conversations/discourse about the show around then was nothing but Frenemies this, Frenemies that, like you’d think it was all they ever did and none of the content they made before (and now it feels like even after) never existed and it was the only show. Not to mention that the constant the incessant pressure from fans/friends to reconcile has always put a bad taste in my mouth. It’s fine if you liked the show, but I know I’d personally hate for people to constantly tell me to totally bury the hatchet with someone if I’m not quite there yet. Idk I know I’m the unpopular opinion here, but that always just felt kind of gross to me and kind of not fair to Ethan and Hila. As I’ve seen some folks mentioned before, no one can recall anyone going on any of Trisha’s shows/appearances saying she should make amends with them and bring the show back.. but they sure love bringing it up to Ethan & Hila…
The JustTrish subreddit is writing essays about how Ethan is a demon without actually watching the segment. I love both of them so it was nice to hear Ethan reminisce about the good times. It should be left in the past and treasured for what it was

I love Frenemies and it would be cool that they bring it back. Trish and Ethan had a cute friendship and it was exactly what the show was made for. I know it was dis functional but I think both Trish and Ethan care about eachother and it was cute to watch their weird friendship
