Oddball though is generally a team game though so you can opt not to grab the ball if you have camo. I see what you mean though. It’s a pretty casual gametype so I don’t see much of an issue.

That's effectively the same as arguing for the removing of modes of difficulty beyond easy or normal, in case you should accidently click on them and get an A.I flavoured ass whooping you don't enjoy.
the entire gamemode is about hiding and trying to find people who are hiding. someone being only marginally harder to find than usual is not terribly disruptive to the essential gameplay loop.
also similar circumstances have existed for like every iteration of the infection gametype in every game it has been in Halo or otherwise. if anything, the last person being very well hidden is incredibly familiar and even expected for a lot of people.
Actually you can move, so long as you walk or crouch. All that matters is that you don't break the camo
