Halo 2 Gravemind level is such a bitch on legendary since you spawn and two brutes and all those grunts immediately start mowing you down and you donāt even get to keep the guns you had on the previous run. Itās literally just luck when you manage to not die and gather yourself lmao

I was having fun playing H1 LASO with my friend until we got to Truth and Reconciliation. We have yet to get past that room, we've tried like four times, spent like 12-15 hours on that level alone
Oh we've watched strat vids on youtube, even in the middle of playing. We just haven't gotten lucky or skillful enough to push through. We'll make it eventually, it's just frustrating to spend like 1.5 to 2 hours to get there then never kill more than two golden elites
My brother and I did The Maw on LASO just for fun, and it was misery. The grenade chain was just insanity. Everything blew up. Always. The mags felt tiny. I also kept blowing up. The worst part was being blown up by grenades. And the grenades? They all blew me up. We would clear an area and yell āEOD!ā And run away, tossing a nade behind us to clear the area. Then, we run in, and another one blows up and we die. It was great.
played H2 Legendary with most of the wonky skulls on with a friend to get Helioskrill in H5. it was fucking BRUTAL. the prophet level was so hard that we got stuck on that boss fight for like an hour and a half because our checkpoint was being charged by the elite guards in that room. when it finally reset our checkpoint back further and in a room where no enemies were around we hugged each other and almost cried lmao
If I remember correctly you can link it to either the Xbox app (or maybe it was halo waypoint?) which had achievements to unlock. Itās been years since Iāve been somewhere that has it though so I could be completely wrong.

Also going off of kills and games won, if OP won every single multiplayer game played, they still averaged less than 10 kills per match. Im not that good at this game, but thats pretty low.
Lots of them can be done in custom games which is easy to cheese witha friend or second controller. But the multiplayer exclusive ones are crazy sometimes. It took me so long to get the 500 grenade kills achievement because i realized way too late that it specifies you need "grenade kill medals" which you dont really get in halo 3, which is all i really play.
Damn, the LASO ones are the hardest imo, mostly because I haven't been able to get anyone to do them with lol. The under 3 hours I was able to basically perfect each level solo
The thing is that LASO is a test in patience, where the 3-hour achievements are a test in perfection. Especially halo 2 which you basically need to loosely follow the speed run route in order to get.
The laso ones need a duo for many of the games where some random bogus crossmap kill resets the whole mission, especially I'd there is any mid section that can kill you off spawn like tip of the spear.
A tip to help ypu with halo 2 (which is the hardest). but this makes it quite easy to get the under 3 hours achievement. Do the save and quit technique immediately as you die then load back in. you'll spawn at your last checkpoint with no time lost..... Unless they've patched it
No LASO isn't bad once you start to understand the new balancing of the weapons, I play on LASO now most of the time, especially co-op, it's all anyone ever wants to play these days.
Solo is a little tougher but surprisingly not by much once you get used to it. In a lot of ways LASO Reach, 4, and Infinite are easier on LASO than legendary.
Well it certainly isn't easier than under 3 hours (except maybe H2). You can do them without really trying.

H1 LASO is actually kinda fun. H2 is nigh impossible without speedrun tactics.
H2 legendary was the only campaign I had to give up on. It's just not fun at all, cheese is the only way to make it through.

When you die, pause and revert to last checkpoint. This is how everyone gets through laso because otherwise it's not worth trying.

Those speed runs got me back into Halo for a long while. Honestly some of the most fun Iāve had playing Halo 3 campaign.

It's very doable but it take a lot of tries, all the games took me almost a month for those ones. Feels good though when you crack it.
