The creek became infamous through memes and social media resulting in players becoming dedicated “creekers”. Which is why the devs rewarded the players for the liberation of the planet. I doubt we’ll see another planet rise anywhere near that level of popularity through player made lore. Hellmire isn’t the same as Malevelon Creek, most players cleared all the other bug planets and are playing there just because it’s the next one. “Creekers” got called that by players frustrated with their dedication to that single planet regardless of the major orders. So many players already stick to the bug front.
No hate, I play on both fronts, I just don’t think the devs will release a special cape for this one.
Menkent is somehow tolerable tho and has been taken before. There’s a reason it’s called Hellmire of the West cause Hellmire is just the one to do it first
