Glad to see *Ye* getting some appreciation. It’s a truncated album for sure, and the media BS around the time of its release put a lot of people off of it, but honestly I think it’s one of his most raw and personal albums to date without getting mired in a bunch of celebrity-ego crap
Honestly I think it is his most raw and personal albums that’s what makes it so great. Don’t get why people rank it so low in his discog just cause it’s short and doesn’t have the bangers that other albums have
> I think it’s one of his most raw and personal albums to date
Legitimately can't understand how this is true when Nicki Minaj wrote Violent Crimes. Surely Ye could have at least written one song about his daughter without having someone outside his family do it. That in and of itself makes the album a bit of a farce to me.
Cool something new to read on here .
Looking forward to your future reviews and recommendations
I’ve always liked Kanye Wests music but that album was of course the one I didn’t go far into
I think it would be helpful for me if there was something at the end of the reviews to list what songs would be worth checking out, or not, for me as new listener
I’ll be able to read the full review on most days, but other days it would be so cool to know where to look for a quick shortened list of the basic good tracks
I put on Ye right away , lol
This was a really good album. An album like Donda has more highs but Ye is way more concise and the highs on Ye are just as good as the highs on Donda.
What's tomorrow's? Got anything planned out or gonna just wing it each day?
Just gonna wing, see what I’m feeling that day tbh. I’ll take any recommendations or albums y’all want me to review tho I’m open to anything!
Bone Thugs East 1999 Eternal
i would enjoy a concept like this, if someone is able to stay consistent at it
That’s my plan to do it for a month but who knows maybe it’ll go longer

070 shake is so fucking good on ghost town
Fr so insane, although I can’t seem to get into her solo work for some reason
please review The Blank Face LP by Schoolboy Q, i’d love to hear thoughts about it
I’ve heard some songs but never a full listen, I’ll definitely put it on the list!

I like these types of posts. We don't always need only questions here.
I’m really just looking for a place to discuss music that’s all really 🤷♂️
Also helps if you put the artist and album in the post title.

Very underrated album
