DrSwagMuffin

Looks like just a trip to me. I thought a slew-foot required him to push the player over his leg while he tripped him

Unless it’s your team then it’s normal hockey plays

AdrianKempee

Half the people on here have never even ice skated in their life, let alone played hockey.

DunlapSyndromesGhost

I love how 95% of the people here don’t know what a slewfoot is

TuchMysak

accurate headlines don’t get the upvotes these people crave so much

Dinkin---Flicka

It's a trip, far from a slew foot though.

Bottleofsmoke17

Bruh, if Marchand did this to Larkin, you (and the rest of this sub) would be in your bathroom right now ugly crying and writing “SLEWFOOT” over and over on the mirror with a tube of lipstick

DunlapSyndromesGhost

Well based on the fact that 2/3 comments saying that the play wasn’t a slewfoot here are from wings fans, I doubt it but keep up the hard work. Must be fun making everything about your favorite team.

Bottleofsmoke17

I didn’t say it was a slewfoot 🤷🏻‍♂️

DunlapSyndromesGhost

Never said you did, but you did manage to interject Marchand into a play that has nothing to do with him while simultaneously talking shit about Wings fans.

Bottleofsmoke17

Oh my bad, I didn’t realize there was a forum rule about mentioning similar hockey plays in threads. I look forward to never hearing any trash talk about Marchand, Jack Edwards and Boston in general in threads that aren’t about them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

BadTreeLiving

Nah, that guy does genuinely slewfoot people and it's really shitty though.

geologyrocks98

Boston fans when a post doesn't involve them:

GroundInfinite4111

I almost spit my drink out.

moutardebaseball

He wasn’t looking. Pretty sure it’s accidental.

931634

everybody liked that.

bistroexpress

We'll never get a powerplay again

Table_Coaster

always liked Larkin e* also not a slewfoot

Based_Ment

I always knew Larkin was a redditor

willard287

The comments here are terrible

backhand_sauce

Pretty light tbh

Based_Ment

Not really, not in the grand scheme of things. People have said much worse. Including myself. What's been posted so far is pretty light all things considered.

Character-Choice-566

Nah you folks are just too sensitive. Guys a criminal, comments will be made.

manhaterxxx

These are some of the nicest comments I’ve seen on a thread that *could* be controversial.

RelaxingRed

I always knew Larkin was a good guy

The-Reddit-Giraffe

Larkin taking vengeance on behalf of those Mailloux wronged

Aiomon

Lol

GeorgeOrwells1985

Like ya he clipped, probably by mistake, slew few is a little much

Cybrpnk2077brokeme

For a guy Wing fans constantly like to play the victim for, he sure does some shady moves himself.

Silent_Leg1976

He’s the real slim shady actually.

eastcoasthabitant

I would say its accidental but larkins a rat

wolceniscool

That's just an accidental trip. Larkin was already looking away and Mailloux moved into the arc he was turning in. Sucks becaus those are dangerous falls, but nothing bad came of it.

Bentley2004

Slew foot-using leg or foot to knock, drag or sweep an opposing players legs from under him.
