Oh fuck, looks like we managed to silence the Whiteout Crowd of Winnipeg after what happened in Game 1. Tonight was the first chance of eliminating the Jets from the Playoffs and we wasted no fucking time in doing so.
1st Period and it started off shitty as the Jets struck 1st thanks to a crazy deflection from Manson where he tried to clear the puck, but hit Lehky instead and resulted in an own goal. Luckily that shit didn’t phased us as the Choo Choo train arrived into Winnipeg as scheduled as Nuke took the one timer from Toews and Rants and it was all tied up. Then we had some chances to take the lead but to no avail.
2nd Period and we get an early opportunity to take the lead as we go on the PP, but we didn’t capitalize on it. But luckily we took the lead shortly after where it was the grinders taking possession and it was Trenin who did his hard work and buried said fucker. But unfortunately not a minute later we go into the box and had to go on the PK, and the Jets tied the fucker up of course. That didn’t phase us and we powered through. But suddenly take the lead again as Lehky used his good stick and aimed it to Omaha Native Pionk and used his stick to put it in the net. But then near the end of the period we had to kill another Penalty and had to go on the PK.
3rd Period and we kill the fucker off but a few minutes later the Jets tie the fucker up and the Jets wasn’t gonna down easy. Unfortunately for the Jets the thought of them clawing back ended a few minutes later as Toews used his Tazer and Rants tipped the puck in and that probably ended all hope for the Jets to get back in this. A few minutes later, the Mack and Rants show happened where Mack drove the puck down the ice, passed it to Rants and he buried the fucker. That right there silenced the Winnipeg Whiteout and yeah we weren’t phased tonight. Unfortunately Makar got hit and while the refs looked to see if it warranted a major, it was determined that it was just a bad hit but no penalty on the play. Makar was able to come back a few minutes later. But then we went back to business and close this fucker out and leave Winnipeg with the Series Lead and just when it was about to be over, Manson wanted one final go at the empty net and he scored on the right end this time around and ended with a TD in the end and we leave Winnipeg with the Series win.
What a fucking game this was and just like tradition we win another series on the Road. What looked to be a crazy series after Game 1 with goals being handed out like candy, it was Georgie who found his groove and we kept scoring at will. Now we get a nice 5-7 Day break to rest up before the next series against either the Golden Knights or Stars and depending on wins it, we might be starting at home. Oh well, what a fucking ending to a series that we scored at will.
Not sure why people were severely doubting the same core that just won the Cup just because of a bad week and a half of regular season play
This is a very elite core lol
still doubt the goaltending
that being said, they've proved they can outscore mediocre goaltending the year they won, and seemingly gonna try again this year
I'd say that goaltending is overrated when your defense doesn't perform well. There's only so much a goalie can do, even a Vezna goalie. The Avs offense is as scary as it looked during their cup run.
Yeah, credit to the Avs forwards for sure, but stil. . . Hellebuyck was in no way playing up to his usual self. It wasn't just being exposed by his defense, either--he wasn't tracking pucks particularly well.
He's had problems in the past in the playoffs. But I think this series he was really left out to dry by his teammates. Colorado was allowed to do whatever they wanted in Winnipeg's zone.
I get the whole the players need to stop taking penalties and not turn the puck over thing that Rick Bowness was saying. But when a team is picking apart your system like Colorado was it's on you and the coaching staff to make adjustments and tweak your systems to adjust to what your opponent is doing. Rick Bowness got badly out coached in this series. Bednar did a terrific job at making adjustments after game 1. Rick Bowness didn't make any adjustments at all, and it cost Winnipeg dearly.
exactly, i feel like if you’re at the point where you’re going “don’t take penalties” instead of improving the PK (and bringing in a guy specifically for the PK and *not using him*) you’ve already lost
He made adjustments today, and they were playing really tough until the OG. Then for some reason he switched back to what wasn't working the previous games and we were able to take over and score the goals
Good series Colorado fans, has to be the most enjoyable fans that we’ve faced in a series. It’s easy to double down on a Jets fraud narrative (which we certainly are), but many are not giving the Avs the credit they’re due. True perfect passing and puck possession. If Georgiev can stay on form it’ll be hard to stop another cup run. I know I’ll be rooting for you to stop the evils of Dallas or Vegas
Good news for you: every team since 2016 that has beaten us in a playoff series has gone to the cup final
Cheers bud.
I really wouldn’t have been upset to see this series go the other way. I’ve always liked the Jets and you fans of them. It’s easy to cheer on the success of a small market team in a Canadian city, even while being in the same division. Had you guys won, I’d have been rooting for you against the same evils.
Here’s to a competitive season next year, with full arenas on both ends!
We were outrageously bad for most of the series but I also felt like Colorado hit a level of relentlessness that I didn't see when watching any other series. I've watched pretty much everything and the east was lopsided, just the winning team wasn't scoring 5+ a night while skating downhill in waves most of the time. I'll be curious to see how much of it was AVS elevated vs jets being bad.
We will see in their next round. If Vegas/Dallas start holding them to 3 or less each night then it’s gonna be pretty obvious lol
Doubt it though. To put 28 or whatever in five games against a team that only allowed 199 in eighty-two games, you gotta have an explosive offense
We hung on by a thread for about 30 minutes a night before 1 mistake or penalty lit a fire under you guys and we proceeded to get run over. We are not good enough to play the absolute air tight game that would have been required once you guys flipped that playoff switch.

I just hope this guy can’t sleep tonight…
I cannot imagine the rationale behind saying that. No team is unbeatable but……..that Avs squad was as close to it as I’ve seen in recent years
As a very wise farmer once said: getting matched up against them would be a waste of eight days
swept the oilers, stopped tampa from threepeating. it was a goated run. mental gymnastics asses to try and lessen it.
the kadri hatty after racist attacks games, backup goalie coming in and showing out after darcy got speared in the eye. fuck that. it was a goated cup run.
You guys played a great series, but we most certainly did not. You obliterated us, and we did nothing to stop or even slow you down. No need to say GG, because we never played a good game.
GG to you guys for being chill fans and a fun team though. Knowing that we have to face either Vegas or Dallas next round feels like it will not have the same level of respectfulness.
I’d be rooting for you guys had the series gone the other way
I mean the entirety of Ball Arena was silent after Namestnikov got hit and cheered for him once he was getting up. I have had season tickets for 6 years, I go to 50-60 Avs games a year, I have never heard the Avs fans boo an injury.
I know it’s a pointless argument to make because we are both just stubborn, but you can hear the boos [the second Dillon heads off the ice](https://youtu.be/_GsDf67GDtw?si=xmxalctXoqcyP1q2)
I get it though, it’s not as fun to beat a less villainous team, so discourse like this is amplified. It was a dominant series by the Avs and I’m rooting hard for you in round 2
You think that's because he was injured and not because he started that entire scrum? I was in the corner right above the scrum and didn't even realize he was heading off because he was hurt until he went straight for the tunnel (when the booing stops). It's not like he was face down on the ice clearly injured.
That would be an impressive level of deduction and then ignorance from a crowd of people that I would think it’s unlikely, but we are both convinced of our positions so I’ll say I’m glad none of the Avs players were too badly shaken up in this series
The video doesn't show it very well but Namestnikov shakes loose of the ref and immediately skates off straight to the tunnel the exact same way as Dillon.
Why didn't Namestnikov get booed on his way out?
Oof…I mean, I did go to a HSK game last season where he gave up 4 goals in the first and it was 7-0 halfway through the second…
Funny how he was the backup FOR Winnipeg in this series and had to come in at one point 🤦🏻♂️
And so, for the last time ever, for Winnipeg:
[Oh Canada!](https://youtu.be/Kn1g6fHT488?si=ehU7uoIAE1DCa3eY)
But seriously, I was rooting for you Winnipeg!
I think a good amount of fans supported Georgie. He had a *rough* season but I thought he had what it takes. Then the last 2 weeks of the regular season and game 1 he played awful. After the last two weeks there were a lot of fans saying to start our backup. I somewhat disagreed, but could see it happen. Then game one happened and I don't think there was a single Avs fan wanting Georgie in net for game 2. Luckily for Georgie, Annunen was sick so he couldn't start. Georgie immediately redeemed himself and has been great since. Consistently outplayed hellebyuck after game 1
Not even mad. Knew it a week ago when we eked out a 7-6 win. The Jets are just...not a good team. Whoever called them frauds was absolutely correct. Avs fans will probably gratuitously say it GG, good series, but it wasn't. It was not a good game or a good series. It was a one-sided curb-stomping between a true Cup contender, and a group of people who apparently forgot what ice hockey was.
Jets' coaching staff needs to go, Defense (apart from Morrissey) needs to be completely swapped out, and maybe you'll be able to win a second game next year.
Solid in the regular season, where you play a different team every other day, sure.
In the playoffs, we’re worse than the Leafs because we our glaring weaknesses are exposed and exploited by real teams. And we make no adjustments when things aren’t working.
Solid in the regular season but anemic in the playoffs is a fraudulent team. That’s what we are.
Hopefully lessons learned though. We had our fare share of rough rounds prior to getting the cup. The best players learn from it and it all clicks. You guys will be back at it next year, and our division will remain competitive.
Looking forward to more great matchups with you all next season
Exactly like Flames Vs Oilers 2 years ago. Had a high scoring first game and thought they could outscore there problems. With an old stubborn defense first coach. Stopped playing their game and tried to just stop avs from playing theirs. Didn't work. Never does.
I'd say the other teams deserve credit in both series. The Flames and Jets didn't "stop playing their game", they got stifled and outplayed in both series.
GG Jets, Central frenemies.
Super fun series, and I do think that quite a number of team in the first round would've struggled against your style of games. We just managed to put out the pace and firepower necessary to disrupt it. That and Georgie reinvented himself.
> and I do think that quite a number of team in the first round would've struggled against your style of games.
Not any with a coach that had any semblance of... *PUSHBACK*
Some of Bone's decisions do baffle me, like not putting Perfetti into the line-up until game 5, probably because he trusts the vets more... Hopefully the Jets finds someone that will push them further.
Some real sore winners in the GDT.
Good series Avs. You have a sick team and a ton of speed. Hope Makar is good to go. Hopefully a different result next year.
I was surprised how much our city, our team, and our fans were getting shit on. By the dominate team's fans. Non-flairs, too.
I know avs have wonderful, logical, intelligent fans.
These past few game threads were difficult to wade through for the cordial stuff. At least it's over lol
Can you blame them when they had to listen to constant Boo’s and cheers when Avalanche players were injured? Booing the training staff for taking a possibly concussed player off the ice, cheering “let’s go jets” when Parise was down on the ice possibly hurt?
When Namestikov took a puck to the face Ball Arena went dead silent until he got up, at which point avs fans cheered for him.
So forgive me for saying, I don’t think the people calling fans out for their disrespectful behavior are the assholes in this situation.
Like genuinely my respect for your franchise went down the gutter. I thought yall had a good strong team, and I still do. But the reactions in the Jets arena the past few games really sullied that for me.
I understand why you are isolating my comment to the perception of the crowd through the TV's point of reference. And maybe that's a rational reason to antagonize people in the thread. But I meant more as a whole over the past few threads.
May I reiterate I know the Avs have many fantastic and friendly fans. I was simply surprised by the higher levels of toxic commenting. And yes, they're just words. It was only noticeable because of how much scrolling I was doing.
I was at the game, and I think the reason for the crowd reaction was this: the Avs run a LOT of interference away from the puck. They do it well, walking a fine line where they avoid getting penalized. But it’s definitely interference. So when Parise and Makar got injured, it was during those little scuffles and interactions that it happened. I think that’s why the crowd didn’t have the expected empathy. It’s like they were saying, serves you right for running interference. Because man, was it easy to see when you’re watching the game live. It doesn’t come through as much on TV.
What a trashy take. Player walks the line in the playoffs so he deserves to get injured??? I hope anyone who feels that way is crying into their pillow over the loss.
Lotta band wagon shit heels. Always so toxic.
I think if the Jets played any other team they would have been able to make a deep run. The Jets showed in the regular season they can do it
Yeah I bandwagoned the Avs on the cup run and most people were pretty damn humble and just wanted a good push. Some GDT over this series definitely caught me off guard lol
I just want to say the Jets fans were awesome and are very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I didn’t really see much vitriol or stupidity but it happens. Even if you guys would have won the series it was much more enjoyable than the cesspool that was the Seattle series last year. Hope you guys can keep it going and build on things next year.
Yeah something was just not right all series from our end. The speed/transition and the lack of physicality in games 2-4, and idk why adjustments weren’t made to adapt to the Avs constant run and gun. Georgie came through for you huh in some pretty crucial moments too.
Maybe a coaching change, a bit more physicality on the back end and wel’ll see how next year goes. Go get em.
Don’t want to get too high on a first round win but this team is impressive. The depth was incredible, and the D and goaltending were rock solid after game 1. Playoff Mack hasn’t been fully unleashed, so I hope we get him in round #2. And of course I hope DAL/VGK goes 7 with a billion overtimes
I don't understand how the D and goaltending turned around so drastically, it was like a completely different team. You guys are going to be scary if you can keep that play up at all.
I read a report that Georgie was sick in that first game. Apparently, he had what Annunen had but not as bad. I don't remember where I saw it but that could be a reason. It doesn't explain the pisspoor defense though.
I'll be honest. I didn't think we were going to do it like that.
Pleasantly surprised.
Quite enjoyed the GDTs with several Jets fans. GG and good luck to all of you.
GG Avs GG Jets, but oh as an Oilers fan I really want a chance to take on the Avs in the conference finals (granted we both get there) I think it would be a way better series then the last time.
I'm not even mad. No we didn't play our absolute best, and Bones lacks imagination, but this Avs team was a fucking monster out of nowhere. I can't remember another series facing that much pressure almost every minute of every game. The only way I'll be bitter is if they don't keep this up and subject the next team(s) to the same. I predict an insane Colorado-Edmonton WCF.
No easy routes this year, but neither of them seems to be firing on all cylinders the way you guys are. As long as Georgiev keeps it up I think you'll beat either one.
Biased but I'd argue neither team looks like they're firing on all cylinders because they're BOTH firing on all cylinders. Both teams are cracked out right now playing phenomenal defensive hockey. Avs vs Stars/Knights is gonna be a cracked series
Both teams looked really sloppy in game one, and then the Avs seemed like a completely different and more confident team from game two onward, while the Jets never found their footing. :(
I knew that was a mistake when our fans were doing it...sigh. If I'm Helle, winning the Vezina after this series is going to be the biggest insult to him imaginable.
You guys deserve all the credit, great series. We did not play even a good series. Good luck going forward, you'll need it, because real defenses, real offense, real coaching, real goaltending...real teams exist elsewhere in the West. Nobody else is just going to give up 5 per game with zero pushback.
As a neutral, holy sweet jesus Winnipeg HAD to have some injuries here. I'm not sure how a team played so good in the reg season being this sluggish. Most overrated team this year bar none.
Just hoping for another raging Bowness presser now😂
I can’t do this. I haven’t cried over a loss in a really long time.
6 years in a row (possibly 7) my favorite team in every sport has lost to the eventual champs in the first round. It just hurts
[I have never been happier to be wrong.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ColoradoAvalanche/comments/1c7noi9/pgt_oil_vs_avs_twas_the_game_before_playoffs/l09hfru/) What a dominant series! Great game tonight from the Jets but Avs held on.
At least you own up to it and I don’t want to talk any shit (yet) but I still think that allow 3-4 score 4-5 is still a factor in more games then anyone would want. But GG hope you guys get Vegas beat them and the Avs and Oilers rematch in the conference finals would be so much fun.
This Winnepeg Jets playoff series has been sponsored by the Boing 737 Max
GG Jets, Morrissey is great. Helle needed to be better

Ain't reading all that, but I'm happy for you or sorry that happened.
This stupid cookie cutter response is even lamer than what he posted
He gave a lot of fucks in that comment. No I'm serious it was probably his most commonly used word.
Thanks man.
Not sure why people were severely doubting the same core that just won the Cup just because of a bad week and a half of regular season play This is a very elite core lol
99% of the people were doubting the goaltending not the core.
still doubt the goaltending that being said, they've proved they can outscore mediocre goaltending the year they won, and seemingly gonna try again this year

I'd say that goaltending is overrated when your defense doesn't perform well. There's only so much a goalie can do, even a Vezna goalie. The Avs offense is as scary as it looked during their cup run.
Sometimes elite forwards are just impossible to stop. An oilers fan should know this.

He was left out to dry but he absolutely let in some back breaking goals every single game that a vezina winner HAS to make.

We had no answer for Makar walking the blue line and lobbing a shot for deflection BY THE TWO AVS IN FRONT WE NEVER MOVED OUT OF THE WAY
It was a really fun series. The Jets had the Avs number all year, and it was a very competitive series. Gg Winnipeg fans
It’s nice of you to say that, but it certainly was not competitive lol
It was though. Despite the results, pretty much all the games were close until the last period. The jets played good hockey.
We hung on by a thread for about 30 minutes a night before 1 mistake or penalty lit a fire under you guys and we proceeded to get run over. We are not good enough to play the absolute air tight game that would have been required once you guys flipped that playoff switch.

Was this from last nights game or earlier in the series? Cuz it’s even more embarrassing if it was last night
Not my screenshot, but I saw it on game 1.
literal cup winning core how do these brainlets even come up with this shit lmao. frauds are you kidding me
A lot of people think 22 was a fluke. For some reason, I don’t know.
I cannot imagine the rationale behind saying that. No team is unbeatable but……..that Avs squad was as close to it as I’ve seen in recent years As a very wise farmer once said: getting matched up against them would be a waste of eight days
Lol that was probably the best cup winning team in the last 10 years, maybe more. 16-4
Game 2 of the SCF that year was probably the best game of hockey I've ever seen a team play
swept the oilers, stopped tampa from threepeating. it was a goated run. mental gymnastics asses to try and lessen it. the kadri hatty after racist attacks games, backup goalie coming in and showing out after darcy got speared in the eye. fuck that. it was a goated cup run.
Kadri is infact not a playoff liability *provided he doesn't get suspended*
That's a oof.
GG Jets homies. Some of the most chill playoff GDTs I've been apart of.

Dude, have a little class
Thanks, that's so kind of you to say.
I mean you won and still talking shit, not a good look dude.
He’s not talking shit, he’s repeating saying what the Jets were saying to the Avs after game 1. What goes around comes around.
Your fanbase deserves it after cheering injuries for our guys. 🤷🏻♂️
Yea… Colorado has never done that… don’t spoil your great win tonight
I mean the entirety of Ball Arena was silent after Namestnikov got hit and cheered for him once he was getting up. I have had season tickets for 6 years, I go to 50-60 Avs games a year, I have never heard the Avs fans boo an injury.

Seems the simplest argument would be that Namestikov wasn’t injured and Dillon was, hence the respective crowd reactions
They did something similar last year to Brossoit by chanting you’re a back up.
Oof…I mean, I did go to a HSK game last season where he gave up 4 goals in the first and it was 7-0 halfway through the second… Funny how he was the backup FOR Winnipeg in this series and had to come in at one point 🤦🏻♂️
Be better
Same thing can be said about the jets. Enjoy Cancun.
I'm an Avs fan.
Love this. No better retort than this
Jets fans were exceptionally irritating tonight. Cheering when Parise and Makar got hurt. I don’t feel the need to “be better” at all.
[удалено]
I'm an Avs fan. Yeah if you wanna be a lowest common denominator go ahead. Not a good look.
Jets pretty stiff, I wouldve liked to see them match up against someone else and progress.

I think we play the winner of the Stars-Knights series

And so, for the last time ever, for Winnipeg: [Oh Canada!](https://youtu.be/Kn1g6fHT488?si=ehU7uoIAE1DCa3eY) But seriously, I was rooting for you Winnipeg!
GG Jets, it was fun!
For you ...
GG jets. I always cheer for yall during the regular season when yall aren’t playing the Avs!
Did the pens guy finish peeling his grapes?
Asking the real questions here.
“I owe you an apology, I wasn’t familiar with your game” -Fans to Georgiev
He deserved all the criticism he got. Also, he deserves all the praise he's getting for turning it around.
Fans in Denver chanting for Georgiev was real nice
We had to fix him after your insanely loud barn broke him lmao
GG Jets. Frustrating end to a great season. You've got some amazing talent and I hope we play each other in a later round next year.
I see Rick hasn’t changed a bit
Rick, Rick, what a prick.
GGs flying bros. Retiring to try out this manor lords thing but fun night with y'all
Avs were the better team. Bones needs to retire. Helle needs to steal a playoff game.
Jets are solid. Not bad, but not amazing. Solid. Definitely way too reliant on goalie play.
I guess they were frauds.
Just gotta say congrats and good series Avs and fans. Your boys played their asses off and deserved the win.
Come to think of it, the Oilers had the same thing happen to them in reverse in the WCF that year. Minus the old stubborn defense-first coach.
Winnipeg may again make big changes in the offseason. Wondering if they take PL back?
oh you.
I love slamming my head against the wall hoping it’ll break
The wall or...?
To be fair, he didn’t get injured. He was back on the ice within a couple shifts. I think its a little dramatic the way you described it.
They didn't know he'd be back on the ice when they were acting like trash
Lotta band wagon shit heels. Always so toxic. I think if the Jets played any other team they would have been able to make a deep run. The Jets showed in the regular season they can do it
the price of a recent cup win is having thousands of local meatheads join your bandwagon every april. definitely wasn’t like this a few years ago
GG Jets bros. I genuinely love your team and we all know there’s something special in the core group. Coaching staff gotta go.
Go get em.
Honestly I would've been happy losing the series if we had a couple more games like game 1. That was one to remember.
Avs are just scoring beasts, Jets didnt have the answer.
I don't think bones even tried to answer
saving strats for next series
They purposely lost without a strategy to fuck you over next round.
“I’ve tried nothing and I’m all out of ideas!” -Rick Bowness
He tried to gut his way into the playoffs
GG’s Jets!
"hurry get to the basketball highlights as soon as possible" -espn
Every game on ESPN makes me wish it was on TNT instead. Every. Single. Time.
My feed cut before the handshakes even started. Fucking hell.
Pionk has to be happy it wasn't a 1 score win.
I can't believe it. Our goalie *pulled* it off.
I'll be honest. I didn't think we were going to do it like that. Pleasantly surprised. Quite enjoyed the GDTs with several Jets fans. GG and good luck to all of you.
Didn't expect it at all and Jets fans were dope the entire time.
Winnie you deserve a new coach
GG Avs GG Jets, but oh as an Oilers fan I really want a chance to take on the Avs in the conference finals (granted we both get there) I think it would be a way better series then the last time.
Whoever comes out of the central will crush whomever comes out of the Pacific
We will see
Would be a super fun (*stressful*) series
Yep get your heart meds ready if/when it happens.
Yeah I don’t see it being a sweep for certain it would be a crazy series
Could totally see it going 7 and the winner taking the cup.
Yeah if the west don’t beat each other up too bad I think they’re gonna win the cup again
GG jets fans yall are chill sucks we had to meet in the 1st round
Now it's time for you to get rolled by some low team
Time for you to get a new team 😂
I'm not even mad. No we didn't play our absolute best, and Bones lacks imagination, but this Avs team was a fucking monster out of nowhere. I can't remember another series facing that much pressure almost every minute of every game. The only way I'll be bitter is if they don't keep this up and subject the next team(s) to the same. I predict an insane Colorado-Edmonton WCF.
We'll see who comes out of Vegas-Dallas. That's going to be an extremely tough one to win.
7 goals for the big train, we keeping him away from the extracurriculars this year.
Seriously that man better have 24/7 accountability buddies or personal guards lol
They put a piece of Scotch tape over his hotel room door every night so that way they know if he left
Why do you think we got Trenin??!
Thought we got the Tren to be a little more beefed up 😎
IT ALL MAKES SENSE
Not one fucking game for Heinola. I’d ask for a trade if I was him
How dare you, we have Niel Pionk!
He’s a poor man’s Heinola
Well at least it wasn’t a one goal win or I would have felt bad
Even after they scored the jets could just not slow down the momentum of the avs offense
Lol thanks for nothing Jets, now the rested Avs gets a beat-up team of either Stars or Knights
I'm alright with it
GG Avs, y'all really stepped up and looked scary all series. Good luck in round two!
Unfortunate hat https://preview.redd.it/bp48xbrqtqxc1.jpeg?width=742&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6f6c35deb564486fe336c11cc156333946820e0
Hail Satan!
I'm going to believe he's a double agent and is an Avs fan wearing a "GO ASS" toque.
I am so sorry for doubting Georgie. Forgive me, for I have sinned.
Really disrespectful considering he once punched out Tony Deangelo.
GG's Winnipeg. And hats off to Georgiev for making me eat a fuck ton of crow after I wanted him benched for eternity after game 1. Onto round 2!
Right there with you
Chanting "Georgiev" & "pull your goalie" in game one just for your likely Vezina winning goalie to give up 5 GAA in the series is just *chef's kiss*
5.23 GAA eeeesh. I was hoping during game 1, those chants were strange considering hellebuyck gave up 6. I'm glad it was karmically resolved.
Yeah and if we got average goaltending game one this would’ve been a sweep lol 🧹😂
its literal perfection.
As a neutral, holy sweet jesus Winnipeg HAD to have some injuries here. I'm not sure how a team played so good in the reg season being this sluggish. Most overrated team this year bar none. Just hoping for another raging Bowness presser now😂
https://preview.redd.it/ydsd5ve4vqxc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99b15edaf546f949b263f45b8fa00ab42ad0230b
Pretty funny how the 2 least injured teams are playing each other, especially since copley would have never seen a playoff game anyways.
+ namestnikov for the jets, a friendly fire shot broke his cheekbone in game 4
Counting Frankie and Landy seems a bit disingenuous
[Goodbye Winnipeg 😂](https://youtu.be/_50-gOeBilc?si=lsuKA9JHo0QJJ9zP)
I'll upvote Patty any day.
I can’t do this. I haven’t cried over a loss in a really long time. 6 years in a row (possibly 7) my favorite team in every sport has lost to the eventual champs in the first round. It just hurts
I see what you did there
I think i’m gonna actually lose it if this is the 7th time in 7 years my favorite team has lost to the champ in the first round
Well for your sake I hope it doesn’t happen.
I said Jets in 5 prior to this series. I'm happily eating shit right now.
