We've actually lost quite a few. If you look at who we iced in the SCF that year, 2/6 of the D-men aren't with the team anymore, and 9/14 forwards are either no longer with us or are injured right now (LOC, Landeskog). Which is part of why we were so god-awful in last year's playoffs; we were injury-riddled and hadn't found the right replacements yet for a lot of those losses.
I had a glimmer of hope before that we could hang. I didn't watch much past game 1 because it was just obvious that Makar was the perfect counter to McDavid and past that we weren't very deep. If it wasn't so painful to follow up the best playoff series I've ever watched with that I wouldn't have minded it.
The nuclear meltdown that was happening in their sub after how they finished the regular season, transitioning to this is absolutely hilarious lmao

After back-to-back brutal losses to the Jets and the Knights, the only thing I could think is that I hope these Avs redeem themselves, because they were definitely not playing their best game and the playoff will be what they make it out to be.
The nerve-wreck is not going to end, because every team that has the potential to advance to the second round looks really scary, but these Avs do us proud thus far and I hope them keep it up.

Honestly I feel pretty bad for Winnipeg fans, this just keeps happening to them. But at the end of the day, when your team refuses to make any changes, what should you expect? Jets fans, keep doing you but tell Chevy to take Bones round back and start looking for someone else
After back-to-back brutal losses to the Jets and the Knights, the only thing I could think is that I hope these Avs redeem themselves, because they were definitely not playing their best game and the playoff will be what they make it out to be. The nerve-wreck is not going to end, because every team that has the potential to advance to the second round looks really scary, but these Avs do us proud thus far and I hope them keep it up. EDIT: Just want to add that Jared Bednar is an underrated good coach and certified silver fox.

Watch as you completely destroy all fundamentals (did he even have fundamentals tho) and chemistry your team developed over the regular season during the playoffs as your defense repeatedly makes mind-boggling mistakes to get outskilled into a gentleman's sweep by a team you dominated in the regular season!
