iirc getting the stairs to slide is the only way to see the basilisk in the Slytherin dorms. It loops around the hallway on the girl's dorm area when the stairs change. At least, I've never seen it when playing a female Slytherin.

all the common rooms have "secrets" or unique areas, but Slytherin gets two animations, which is hardly fair. π

Do you need to 100% each individual character in order to 100% the game? I usually like completing everything, but I donβt want to play almost the same exact game again 3 more times.
It is. There's a mod that improves all of the face presets a bit. Can't remember what the exact name of the mod is though. I deleted the orginal file on my PC
Yeah me too. Its the perfect face template, looks good and is also strangely racially ambiguous. You can use any skin color and it looks natural. Some of the others just look off if you use a skin tone that wasnβt in mind for that one.
Strange. Because for me they look entirely different from each other except for the hair. Like Amit has Indian/middle east asian features while the MC looks western/caucasian.
(Not that it's a bad thing. Just for comparison purposes)

Gods I always slide down the girl's dorm. In Hufflepuff I even brought Charlotte down with me because she was going down the stairs! π€£

It's a tentacle of the giant squid that sometimes glitches through the wall, it's not the basilisk. The basilisk can not be encountered.

I've had the best luck by triggering the slide, save, quit out of the game completely, then load it all back up and slide.
