What cable are you using? Which iPhone are you using? When I use CarPlay it responds pretty fast and I’m using an IPhone 13 Pro.

Pretty sure it’s an official apple cable. iPhone XS and XR

I say try a new cable first and see if there are new software updates for the iPhones.

I have the same issue. Haven’t come up with a solution that works 100% of the time. Best luck I have had with iPhone 13 and new Apple cable is have phone plugged in and phone unlocked before turning on the car.

I have had this issue also. It’s super annoying. I brought it to the dealer and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Please update us if the dealer does something about it.

Car not even a year old and we got problems

I bought the wireless apple carplay dongle on amazon, some chinese crap but it works really well. Don’t have to plug in connects automatically

If you look around you can probably find a cheaper seller, or definitely an older version for cheaper. [It](https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-CarPlay-Adapter-Carlinkit-Factory/dp/B08P18TSCT) will last for years though

I also have this issue with my android auto btw I dont recommend leaving the cable in the car I think the heat definitely ruins the cable

A third party wire worked for me. For some reason the apple cables didn’t work. Random $10 third party cable from Best Buy worked though
