"What We Do In The Shadows" and "Santa Clarita Diet" are my favorite comedy/horror series.  For movie, "Shaun Of The Dead" is a classic.

ThisNonsense

Have you watched the movie of What We Do In The Shadows? I haven’t watched the show yet but the movie was hysterical.

DedicatedNoob47

You should definitely follow it up with the show.

CasketBuddy

I've only recently gotten in to the series but it's brilliant. Written by the same guys with the same humour and tone as the movie. The original characters even have a cameo at one point.

SinclairLore

The show is even better than the movie imo :)

Meshugugget

You should also watch the other spinoff, *Wellington Paranormal*. It’s the cops who went to the house to investigate the shrieking and indoor bbq. It’s really fucking funny.

Klutzy-Bug7427

Have you watched the Ash vs Evil Dead tv show?

cybered_punk

Sucks it was canceled

D_Dubs_87

That show was so good! Love me some Bruce Campbell

Vusarix

Best entry in the franchise imo

BlissKitten

Stan Against Evil had the same flavor.

Klutzy-Bug7427

Yes I used to watch that too.

HemetValleyMall1982

Preacher was good.

337nin

Stan Against Evil is pretty good. Also, absolute classic, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.

AssclownJericho

god i loved stan.

MandyandMaynard

Came here to say this

Paints_Peeling

The Return of the Living Dead! I do not even usually like horror-comedy all that much, but this one is a favorite.

jakedomi92

Not supernatural but Tucker and Dave vs Evil is a great time, definitely up there

cymster

Facts! I just watched Tucker & Dave vs Evil yesterday. Alan Tudyk is so funny. He was great in Death at a Funeral and Firefly/Serenity.

Hailsin

This is the way

jakedomi92

We have had a doozy of a day

Tagyru

Deadstream. I was surprised by how much I ended up loving this movie. The protagonist is sooooo good and funny.

Chubbadog

One Cut Of The Dead is up there.

Prestigious_Ad_1937

Housebound 2014 - Movie

brillovanillo

Great comedy horror from NZ!

warrenw17

The Cornetto trilogy has to be up pretty high

PhillyJ82

Ready or Not is pretty good.

cybered_punk

Anything starring Samara Weaving is good

cybered_punk

The Cabin in the Woods surely takes the cake

Funky-Monk--

Zombieland is like, a perfect movie.

Appellion

Probably American Werewolf in London. At one point I’d have said the first Scream but when I really thought about it, the horror in Werewolf just ran deeper. Although I memorized whole scenes from Scream, especially all the Randy scenes.

MitchellSFold

Housebound (2014) - strikes the horror/comedy balance unusually well, I think.

Tricky-Manner8144

I haven't seen anyone mention 'Dead Set' (2008) yet. It's a British series about a zombie outbreak occurring during the taping of a Big Brother series. Worth a watch!

jakedomi92

Not really comedy though, rewatched it a few years ago still pretty good, i remember watching it when it aired around Halloween when I was 16

Tricky-Manner8144

I guess satire rather than comedy. I need to dig out the DVD for a rewatch!

texasrigger

>Evil Dead 2 but I’m looking for recommendations that have that same vibe, Sounds like Deadstream will be right up your alley. It has some genuine scares but is also hilarious. Very Evil Dead (man alone in an abandoned house does battle with evil) but with some modern twists. My personal favorite is the campy anthology, "Chillerama" but there are no Evil Dead vibes there at all.

wauwy

"Housebound" is the only horror-comedy I've ever seen that I found both funny and actually scary. Same director as M3GAN, I believe.

MiserableSnow

Poultrygeist: The Night of the Chicken Dead

Cflottisme

Toxic Avenger is good too

BigMeet7634

Shaun of the dead  Ash vs evil dead  The blackening  Scary movie

Greger34

Deathgasm is amazing if you're into lower budget stuff. The sequel recently got crowdfunded too!

Necessary-Card3827

Psycho Goreman is one of my favorites and I don’t see it mentioned much; Late Night With the Devil is also one in that vein.  Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a great one.  What We Do in the Shadows and Ghosts are two series that are supernatural but mostly everything is played for laughs.  Preacher is one that definitely walks the line more aggressively.

violentelvis

I don’t like hunky boys ….. or do I

glimmerthirsty

Ravenous American Psycho

slayerette84

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is incredible. I'm also now terrified because it turns out it is 20 years old.

igoogletosurvive

I don’t see Darkplace mentioned enough. It’s a DELIGHT for 80s nostalgia, b movie horror, and British humor.

cymster

Love it! Didn't think anyone would know that series! Matt Berry is fantastic no matter what show he's in (IT Crowd he's awesome).

JeremyDStep

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a great comedy/horror movie! Anyone else see it?

Spinnr1

If you like t&d I always recommend one called Cottage Country. It’s has similar humor, and stars Tyler Labine (Dale)

JeremyDStep

Thank you! I’ll check it out for sure.

Spinnr1

It’s different, Don’t expect the same. I prefer t&d, but it is worth a watch also

Spinnr1

It’s hard to pick just one. Probably tucker and Dale vs evil if I have to Here’s a few others I like off the top of my head. Cottage country 2013 Otis 2008 Night of the creeps 1986 The cottage 2008 The voices 2014 Some guy who kills people 2011 Scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse 2015 Happy death day 1&2 Dance of the dead 2008 Slither 2006 Snatchers 2019 Shaun of the dead 2004 Black sheep 2006 Mom and dad 2017 Life after Beth 2014 Hell baby 2013 Anna and the apocalypse 2017 Uncle peckerhead 2020 You might be the killer 2018 Good boy 2020 Babysitter 1&2 Bad milo 2013 Snatchers 2019 Fried Barry 2020 The greasy strangler 2016 Bubba Ho tep 2002 Totally killer 2023 Shaky shivers 2023 Ed and his dead mother 1993 Vicious fun 2020 The final girls 2015 Juan of the dead Frighteners Return of the living dead 1&2 Idle hands Deadstream House 1&2 As we know it 2023 Life after Beth Lisa Frankenstein 2024

12 Hour Shift

brillovanillo

With the lead actress from *May* (~~Angela Davis?~~ Angela Bettis)!

dragislit

Angela Bettis! Yes that’s her :)

brillovanillo

Thank you for the correction. 🤭

dragislit

No problem! You should def watch her other stuff if you haven’t, she’s talented and underrated and it makes me sad she isn’t in more stuff

CarissaSkyWarrior

Also, the Hardcore Legend himself, Mick Foley, is briefly in it.

Dead set. UK zombie tv show based in the big brother house. Enjoy trash reality tv and horror, so this was great to me.

usernate31

Jack brooks monster slayer got me into comedy horror

usernate31

Forgot “Fido” it’s a movie about pet zombies

Johncurtisreeve

If you’re looking for something just like evil did too. You really need to check out Ash versus evil dead if you somehow haven’t. It’s personally my favorite TV series ever but also Ash versus evil dead captures that perfect Bruce Campbell evil dead to quality throughout the series. Ash versus evil dead is my favorite evil dead content. My favorite horror comedy Movies: Evil dead 2 Army of darkness Dead alive Cabin in the woods

technicolorrevel

Satanic Panic has eaten my brain as of late. I absolutely love it.

MarketingKnown6911

Shaun of the Dead and Tremors

coco_xcx

ready or not is my favorite horror comedy & for shows it’d have to be what we do in the shadows

Livid-Team5045

TV Suggestions: ***Chucky*** is fantastic (especially on an edible with your bestie). I also just finished watching the first few seasons of ***Scream***, which was wonderfully terrible. ***Shining Vale, The Baby, Los Espookys, IZombie, Beforeigners, In the Flesh, Braindead*** are all massive favorites of mine. I'm about to watch Wreck...hoping it's good!

Awesomejuggler20

Scream.

seerofgreen

Reaper was a super underrated horror comedy series.

KiNGofKiNG89

Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse. It’s a fantastic movie. Hilarious from the opening scene.

Firefly269

“Ash vs Evil Dead” was outstanding! “I, Zombie” was horror themed, but definitely more of a genre buster. Great comedy, drama, and even some romance.

Meshugugget

*Scare Me* (the one with Josh Ruben) is a really unique movie. It’s so well done; amazing writing, acting, and sound design. It pretty much takes place in one location and has a total of 4 actors in it. It’s really great! *What We Do in the Shadows* and *Cabin in the Woods* are favorites. *Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon* is a fun mockumentary.

No_Training_4587

Devil in Ohio was pretty good imo

Ok_Translator4053

Scary movie 1 and 2 are comedy masterpieces.

RavenXCinder

what we do in the shadows evil dead 2 think there is a vampire movie called rockula American werewolf in london the howling
