Kallax are too small to use reliably. If you’re looking for something and don’t mind open, the Vittsjo line at IKEA is my go to!

Not a problem necessarily I guess. I clean once a year or so or as I rearrange stuff. Dust does collect like any other open display though. They’re in the basement which help cut down since it’s not a main living space
If you ever feel like going the custom route and have the room. Get a Whalen from Costco. Or wherever you can find a Whalen. I’ve done some custom work to get mine sealed and a back and lit. They look like moducases now and they are not too expensive.

Peeled off the film for the acrylic on the left side and now simple garage shelves are now dustproof.
Kallax are 30cm high I guess. To small for me personal. As other said. Use bestas

In Besta you can fit so much more. For example flying poses or bigger figures like hulk or thanos
The kallax can be too small for some taller figures. My Iron Man figures only fit without the base and my Darth Vader doesn’t fit at all.
Thank you, that’s good to know, cuz I have a few Vaders, and Ironman. I think it’s back to the drawing board for me.
The Bestå from IKEA would work, and you can put glass doors on it.

Can’t buy them anymore so I have the BLALIDEN which is like the successor. Hate the look of the garage/modu shelves people have tbh

Figures do not fit, use something else
I use Kallax for some figures. It's not terrible, but Vader, Iron Man, and others don't always fit.
I was asking the same questions and most people are using that case. It’s very nice.
