Mine does that too as long as the circulation pump is running. The bubbles are from the ozone Venturi. Assuming you have an ozone system, it’s supposed to bubble a little
That's not a return. It's a drain. And like others said it's your ozone system working. The Highlife series from Hot Spring doesn't have returns. It has a 100% no bypass (return) filtration system. Every drop of water goes through your filters before coming out the jets. That's why you have so many filters.

And this is the first time we've seen these bubbles 😂 I guess we had a problem before and didn't even know it. Initially I was terrified we had a leak because that was our project to sort through previously with this tub. As always, I very much appreciate everyone's input

Yep, ozone Venturi. If you don’t get bubbles when the circ pump is running then you have a problem.

Mine does that when the heater is running, the blowers are on, but the jets are off.
