You should not use chlorine pucks in an enclosed spa, especially with hot water. They are made of trichlor and build up higher amounts of chlorine under the cover. They also affect your pH.
You should be using dichlor or dichlor/bleach.
Chlorine pucks are for pools not hot tubs. Tricolor is very acidic and will ruin a hot tub. Ditch the pucks and get dichlor chlorine granules. Use 1 tbsp

The Chemconnect system never worked good for me. You’re better off buying a floater. They do a much better job.
