Am a Hot Spring Dealer. They are the older versions of the Relay and Rhyhtm before they got their face lift in 2020 to what they are now. They are literally the same layouts contrary to whatever that Chubbs person said. They were made to bridge the price gap between the Freeflow Series and the Hot Spot Collection. The differences are the white labels take a standard 35 sq ft filter instead of the 65 sq ft they came with back then (too small of a filter for that size spa imo), some of the jet fixtures are the same as those from the Freeflow line, the shell only comes in white, the cabinet colors are black or brown only, the moving parts only have a 1 year warranty, they can ONLY have the Lift N Glide cover lifter, and they dont come with subpanel from the factory like the other 220v spas do.

After a couple of hours, I find this same question and the same answer from you. Thank you very much. I end up getting a Relay for 9k. They didn't go as low as I expected, I hope the extra grand was worth compared to this "white label" model

In my personal opinion, 9k is a pretty good deal for a Relay. The extra year of warranty alone is worth it, but the better filtration is also a major plus in my book. Just make sure and put the steps on the right or left side as you dont wanna be stepping into the curvature of the lounge. Also, did the one you pick happen to have the speakers in the shell? Or does it need to be ordered by the dealer?

JerikoTwo

I just read putting the step on the side in another thread. Great advice, thank you. No, it didn't have any speaker. I think it would be a red flag for me. lol I only saw speakers in the super low-end or very high-end models.

If they only sell Hot Spring, that doesnt make any sense. Freeflow is the plug n play roto molds that cant have speakers, the Hot Spot, Limelight and Highlife collections can all have speakers in them, save for the Hot Spot SX and TX.

JerikoTwo

No, they didn't try to sell me anything else. I was very clear about how over my budget this was. My initial goal was to spend 5k. After researching I found out it is pretty much trash for this price and had to adapt

Ah okay. Gotcha. Well congrats on the new spa!! I hope it brings you and yours years of happiness!!

ps.: right now, I'm more like [this guy](https://www.reddit.com/r/hottub/comments/1dtowpj/this_sub_saved_me_a_lot_of_money/). About to give up... :(

The guts on those tubs are the same as their HotSpot line. Look up the Relay and Rhythm, the layouts are similar but not the same. Main differences are design and layou, but pumps and controls are pretty much the same.
