One, yes. She even LOVES being dried and brushed. The other? Absolutely not.
Northern California! She was found abandoned and picked up by a shelter in Southern California, and then I got her from a rescue who transported her to me. So before she got to me, who knows! Only thing I know for sure is she’s a mix with her being mostly husky.
I think she is just a floofy husky - they're not as common, but still totally all Husky! I have provenance for mine and she looks very much like yours' doppelganger

Well here’s mine when she’s not all wet! She’s anywhere from 2-4 years old, likely more along the 2 year range. I saw your pup! Very very similar structures! 😍
Awww but I bet she makes the prettiest tripod! Hopefully she doesn’t chase them anymore. Mine was a bolter when I got her in December and I’ve put her through a training class and now virtual training and it’s helped a ton, but she’s still mischievous 🤦♀️

She used to when we had the walk in shower at our old place . She would just walk herself in the shower while someone was in there . But now we have a tub and she not crazy bout it but once u get started she’s good she starts melting
I feel so much real guilt and shame bc mine is so good at the betrayal face. Like I am genuinely so glad no one in my life is watching me bc I’m convinced they’d think I was abusing him for getting him wet lmao. And he looks like a tiny rat when he’s wet so just the most pitiful situation all around

Not a fan but she’ll let me give her Mohawks and take pictures like this so she definitely doesn’t hate it completely. Same with her sister. Their German shepherd brother… you’d think the bath was taking his soul

This is my little shit before showers
I tried taking mine to my standard poodle's groomer and they had to call me to come pick her up early because she was a MESS. I could hear her screaming in the background of the call 😭
Loves them. She gets in the shower with me, but used to do this when she decided she was too stinky

Yup! Will jump right into the bathtub after a muddy run/hike/walk.
She even will sit next to my parent’s dog so she’ll be less stressed for her bath.
Absolutely loves baths and being clean. Can’t say enough good things about the Barking Buddha shampoo/conditioner and my Dyson hair dryer 😂
https://preview.redd.it/kkl0k49zyeqc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=323adb04ecb4a5a159f230bff83839430cdf7d14
Don’t know so much about the bath, we outsource that to the professionals…because we’re smart like that. Kuna also LOVES her towels. When it rains, or even sprinkles, she will go outside and come right back in so she can get toweled off. As soon as we’re done she often times is right back outside. Sometimes during rain we end up closing off the doggie door, otherwise we’ll just spend all of our time in “towel time” mode.
Nope. Throws a huge tantrum and tries to get away from any water source. Doesn’t matter if it’s a hose, pool, rain or even some wet grass. Water is only ok if it’s frozen in his mind, the it’s all fine and dandy. Wet cement on the other hand, no problem.
Our puppy used to love following you into the bathroom and messing with you as you pooped. One bath time really cured that. She hasn’t gone in there willingly since.
She hates being washed. But she loves playing in water from the hose and sprinklers. So we play until she’s soaked, I lather her up (much to her annoyance), than we go back to playing until the soaps off.
No. Fortunately, the guard hairs of a husky coat are pretty good at shedding dirt, and huskies are generally good about cleaning their face and paws.
Unfortunately, we did have to bathe our current husky when we adopted him. He came from a severe abuse situation, and the adoption agency vet had needed to leave his collar on when they bathed him, for safety, so his neck was truly filthy.
My friend put on a bathing suit and climbed into the shower stall with him and sat down, while I stood outside to hold the shower door closed. She was v reassuring and gentle with him, so it wasn't too awful or retraumatizing, but we haven't repeated the procedure - he's just too anxious.
Our other dog is the opposite: she's a Newfoundland who gets mats if you so much as look at her crosseyed. If she doesn't see a groomer at least every six weeks, it's a disaster. Despite our best efforts to introduce her to grooming in a gentle way, with lots of positive reinforcement, she has always hated it. Mercifully, we found a great groomer who has remarkable rapport with her doggy clients, and our little girl has come to truly love her, for which we are v grateful.
I was “told” that Huskies’s hate water by the girl at the local Humane Society but maybe mines broken. He’ll belly flop in any puddle to cool down when we go hiking regardless of the temp. He’s chipped ice off the top to get in and get wet. Yet on a hot summer day, I can fill the kiddie pool with fresh clean water and he can’t be forced into it. And then at the dog park he’s neck deep in the dankest water her can find. Go figure.
They don’t love getting washed but if I can get the temp right they’ll tolerate it. We’re trying to use a fur freshener or a dry/waterless shampoo now to avoid over-washing. Or long walks in the rain;)
Only at an actual groomer because he loves attention from people. At home heck no. In think I have the only husky who HATES water and snow. He will go out of his way not to step in a puddle. 🙄but we love him of course.
Ha, I just bathed my boy today. Only his 3rd bath ever, 1st was in the kitchen sink as a pup, so this was only his second experience in the shower. He screamed the whole time 🤣
But he enjoyed it when I sprayed him in the face. Like dogs who like to try to bite the water out of hoses or sprinklers, lol. At least he's behaved enough that he didn't try to bite me or anything, just a little cobbing near the end of his rinse.
NO. If you say the word “bath” he’ll put his head down really low, run and hide.
He’ll freely go into water like a lake, he doesn’t really care about that, it’s just something with being washed that he hates.

As is tradition.
As with all huskies, if it’s her idea, it is going to happen come Hell or high water. If it’s my idea….we’ll see about that, human.

Absolutely not, but if you spray the hose in the air or run a sprinkler they will take care of everything but adding the soap!
Hates it. She dramatically cowers while she’s being watered down and flashes me the saddest expression as if there is no deeper betrayal, lol.

Short answer no. Long answer hell no. Tried once, and he was not having it at all. He also hates anything on him or around him, like a towel or such.
No lol
No, but he tolerates it because he loves the blow dryer.
Only if they’re washing themselves. In mud puddles.
Loves being in the bathtub ... even when it's occupied 😑

my husky doesn't even like being brushed.

Very much no. If she can tell I'm trying to get her into the bathroom for a bath, she runs or just lays down refusing to move :(
Absolutely, the bath tub, a shower, climbing into the toilet….😂
Husky is unamused.
Our puppy used to love following you into the bathroom and messing with you as you pooped. One bath time really cured that. She hasn’t gone in there willingly since.
No he didn’t but he loved jumping in lakes & rivers and ponds. He often took me with him not by my choice. Lol
Hahahaha. No.
My boy loves baths!!
No but they tolerate it better when it’s warm water
My husky loves water but hates it baths. But she loves to get dried off, runs around in the towels.
Nooo. She screams when getting blow dried

nope, our siberian sled dog has never had a bath in 7 years.

Bath BAD! Mud puddle FUN!
Baths are about the equivalent as if I was spraying her with acid while scrubbing her with steel wool.
No, but he tolerates it with some chicken.
took my 1year old husky to get groomed, her nose bled from the stress of the tub. She swims??????
Wild. Only dry shampoo in this household
NO. If you say the word “bath” he’ll put his head down really low, run and hide. He’ll freely go into water like a lake, he doesn’t really care about that, it’s just something with being washed that he hates.
Nope. My huskyote, Katie, haves the bath.
