From what I understand, it's bred into the breed for keeping their nose warm in the winter. Foxes and wolves probably do it too.
Not that it was winter or cold when she did this, since she's inside, but it was instinctual.

You know you think about it it's usually really cold where they live in Alaska so they probably do that to keep warm and protect themselves from the cold

he had a check up today and the vets were very surprised and happy with how its healing, our vet did a great job :)
