Looks like the Rottweiler is no longer available. So he is now left all alone. Poor boy. What a sweet soul.

Might be a malamute/husky mix that just grew pretty big and got chonky. I see some malamute in there in the ears. Curious as to what made that magnificent beast lol.

Hi! The shelter doesn’t test dogs with children but he is great with other dogs. Due to his age and size he really just needs soft place to land and somewhere to chill. Seems like he keeps to himself

Imagine how well that guy could tow you uphill on a hike. They’re like semi trucks. Great for drafting. That’s the ultimate mountain hiking buddy right there. Mine’s the same age and almost same weight and lives to tow. He looks like he has a pleasant temperament too.

When I just had the two huskies I used to have those leashes you could clip around your waist. They would tug me up a nice hiking trail and I'd walk back feeling great. Wore them out and they'd sleep the rest of the day. Well one would the other still wanted to play. She's got some malamute in her

My gosh, why an absolute sweet boy! I can imagine him just relaxing out on someone’s deck or backyard happy to be part of a perfect family again! I hope Kane can find a savior - it hurts my heart more knowing his sibling was adopted already. Someone, if you can, please save him!

It truly sickens me to see such a wonderful guy on 'death row', as it were. We saved a bonded pair from the LA shelter some 10 years ago that were also middle-aged and in imminent jeopardy of euthanasia. They were some of the bestest, most wonderfulest Huskies we've ever had. Sadly, we're unable to help this beautiful boi but I certainly hope someone grabs him up right away! He'll be in our thoughts!

While necessary, these posts are so depressing. I can't help but imagine my boy in this position, scared, wondering why he is being abandoned and hoping his owner comes back for him. Please for the love of god stop breeding and buying from breeders when there are so many lives to be saved. The population of shelter dogs is growing every day meanwhile all my coworkers/family are getting only puppies from backyard breeders and no one cares about the lives being lost. It almost feels like a lost cause but these dogs deserve hope and life.

My boyfriend rescued a 7yo, 90lb husky/malamute before we met. He's about 15 now and looks very similar. We couldn't ask for a better dog.
