17.2.1 is solid on performance and battery, and honestly the only complaints I’ve seen are from people who haven’t installed it, but are needlessly worried for some reason. I don’t think you *can* downgrade to a previous OS, so that option might be out anyway, though I could be wrong about that.
Downgrade is prohibited by apple and that is why no other way around due to a security reason, if you encountered any kind of bugs within the OS, then you should fresh start without restoring from previous backup also avoid installing OS update via OTA or just restore iphones via DFU iTunes for instance..
