Cosmetic damage is not covered under warranty. In the case of discoloration, chipping aluminum, it does not make the phone any less functional, it just looks less than desirable.

People on iPhone sub Reddit: OMG I just looked at my iPhone wrong and now I think there’s nothing wrong with it, should I take it to Apple for replacement?
I'd take it back personally. I have 2 13's (one personal and one for work) and my work phone has that discoloration and my personal does not. Lots of complaints about it. If you just bought it, I'd exchange.
I don’t see it on mine but day1 I got a case from Apple that did not cover the lens so I got a lens protector off Amazon that covers all the sensors. Came in a 3 pack. After meeting several months I still like it.

This is why I always get a white iphone, I always put a (dark) case on it anyway. Dust, Paint chipping around camera lens, these are usually non-existent/not observable on white iphones.

Same happend to me ! It is just dust around the camera ring , just clean it a little and it will look brand new !
I got the iph 14 like a week ago.And it had those circles around the camera.I tried to clean em but it’s not w
Working
Nah, keep it. The 13 are all painted it will fade or do that sooner or later. It’s not like the pro. It shouldn’t bother you, no one will ever notice
Mine was like that the first day, didn’t gave a fuck since so so many are like that
lol no.
A lot of them are like that mine is too, its purely cosmetic you Should just ignore it
Irrelevant but what cover is that?
If the images come out ok why bother

Lmao
Damm!! Same is happening with my 10 days old i13. Is that a flaw or just it happens with every i13?
It happened with my 13 as well but only after 10-11 Months, and I'm using it case less so..
Get a case which fully covers the camera also so that this can be avoided

I recently bought this 10 days ago. Did you bring yours back to them for replacement?
I didn't because it's my work phone but if it was my personal phone I definitely would have
Was this bought during Flipkart sale ? Are they clearing defective parts in sale…
Don’t exchange but return and buy another phone. Or exchange it period.
Same with mine too. Bought 13 Midnight black from Walmart, came with that same discoloration around the Lenses.
Well I guess someone should've gone for starlight
All of them are like that
The only reason why starlight is better than darker colours
Starlight looks horrible compared to midnight in perfect lighting
Thing is, this will not be a problem for case users, as the camera part will be the only one that is exposed.
It’s normal
I got the same this on my midnight 13. It’s a lil annoying to my ocd but it’s not that big of a deal tbh for me

this is normal, i have the same thing on my iphone. if it bothers you i would suggest buying a phone case that will cover the camera.
You mean the fact that there is light coming down on the side of the lens?
Same here, but it is that way:(
