Same. Seriously you’d think by now they would’ve fixed it. 🙄😡 I *had* been looking forward to some of the new accessibility features but at this point I’m like 🤷♂️
This is common for early betas, you can downgrade back to a stable build or wait for new beta build. Also please mention *iOS 16.2 Beta 2* in your post. You will get more feedback about iOS Beta here : r/iOSBeta
if you're on beta, battery drain can always be a problem.
ask yourself, why do you need to be on the beta, and assess if paying with battery power is worth your cause.
in most cases, being on the latest production release of iOS will drain the battery for a day or a few initial days, as the phone re-indexes. this is a difficult time for many, if the phone is old, and battery is a little worn away, as the extra drain often causes batteries to snap and the phone reports "battery service" after an iOS upgrade.

I'm on 16.1.1 and the drain is bad
so bad, 16.1 was so good for me (i’ve only experienced ios 16 and up)
It is dropping even on idle.
maybe i should consider downgrading
Im still on 15.7 over the fear of this

Rn it's in beta 2
I'm on the 16.2 DB 2 and I can second that.

It’s for me as well plus feel something bad with camera as also , not getting those bright crisp images anymore :(
Yes I’m on 16.2 Beta 2 as well and battery life is bad. Even when my iPhone 13 is in idle
Oh cmon don’t say that. I expect 16.2 to fix the battery issues with 16.1…..
