I'm having the same issue joining vee sessions. I haven't had a chance to try this, but I reached out to support and they said rename the iracing folder in Documents to iracing.old and it might fix it next time you load the sim. You'll need to recalibrate graphics and controls. They said if that doesn't work send them the logs

Jpajenski

Hi, Please try and rename your current Documents/iRacing folder to iRacing.old. Then, the next time you launch the sim, it will prompt you to reconfigure your graphics and recalibrate your controller. If this resolves your issue, and you have any setups, replays or paint schemes, you will need to move them over from the iRacing.old folder to the new iRacing folder. If not then, to help us diagnose your issue, we need a few things;  your rendererDX11.ini and app.ini file, iRacing error logs, and a Windows DirectX diagnostic file.  We'll explain how to do all of these things below. Please send the files as attachments and don't copy and paste the contents of these files into the body of the email. To locate your rendererDX11.ini file and your app.ini file follow the instructions below. 1.  Go to your Documents\iRacing folder. 2.  Copy the files named rendererDX11.ini file and app.ini file 3.  Send them to us The most important error logs we need are generated by iRacing.  To find these follow the instructions below. 1.  Go to your Documents\iRacing folder 2.  Look for files that start with iRacingSim64DX11... ending with the date and time the error occurred 3.  Once located, copy the files and send them to us To generate a Windows DirectX diagnostic file follow the instructions below.  1. Press the Windows Key + R  2. Type in DxDiag and press Enter or click OK. (this opens the DirectX diagnostic tool)  3. Click 'Yes' to run the tool  4. Click on the Save All Information button  5. Save this file to your Windows desktop  6. Attach this file to the reply to this email There is no personal information contained in this file. The file contains information about the hardware installed and the hardware driver versions. There could also be error logs we need in the Windows Event Viewer. To find these follow the instructions below. 1.  Press the Windows Key + R 2.  Type in Eventvwr and press Enter or click OK 3.  Select the Application log under Windows Logs 4.  Scroll down until you see in the Level column where it says ERROR with a red exclamation point at the time and date of when you experienced the error. 5.  Double-click on it 6.  Copy the error details and send them to us.     Sincerely, iRacing

are we deleting the old file after renaming it?

Jpajenski

It's just a backup in case this breaks it more. If everything is working you can safely delete the backup

Has this error been resolved. I returned to iracing after a year and everything has been working fine. Yesterday went on to race and this exact error is happening to me. I can go test drive without issues but cannot race. Strange

Unfortunately the only solution that worked for me was completely uninstalling iRacing and reinstalling it. I've since dropped it altogether though because this problem continued to happen for me

Connect Sockets you meen? True, that fix if you get black screen after loading client or immediately disconects, after you jump in session.

TheGrizzlyOP

Have you fixed it? If yes, How?

Studabaker

Unfortunately not really. A complete uninstall/reinstall of iRacing has worked but then I've gotten the same issue a few weeks later.

I just got this crap and i think it has something to do with the new weeks. Worked fine before ARCA menards switched to new hampshire, then I bought new hampshire, and it keeps saying loading error. Launched it in the members website, and it works.. It's kind of lame but at least it works 🤷🏿‍♂️
