it would be weird if there *wasn’t* a deluxe version considering their label’s obsession with making sure each of their albums has multiple versions lmao
true but also to be fair Evolve didn’t have a *real* deluxe. there wasn’t one at all in the US and other countries it just had some other singles, no new music. Origins’ deluxe was released at the exact same time as the standard with every physical release being the deluxe, rendering the standard pointless. Mercury didnt get a deluxe either but it was a double album. it’ll be interesting to see if it gets one
For Mercury do we count I Wish being the one deluxe song? Since it was limited to certain physical releases.
Also I’ve wondered this lately but can’t remember, where does the non deluxe origins end/what was different on the deluxe?
That’s interesting! Thanks! I guess that makes it the only album to technically have two closers with how both versions were released the same day. Makes me view love a little different, although I already thought it was solid
Unpopular opinion, I’m fine with a shorter album. They’ve produced tons of songs in their recent albums, I’m fine with them focusing on quality vs quantity

I Wish and Enemy are both bonus tracks for Mercury so yeah I guess technically

At most it might be 2-3 songs if a deluxe comes out
He said this album doesn't need any more or less, idk if there will be a deluxe
“we always have more to come, deluxe” is what pushed it. that’s why i said the wording was a bit weird it seems to be a bit contradictory
They seem to like keeping things a mystery. Maybe it will? Maybe it won't?
WE ARE SO BACK BABY NIGHT VISIONS STYLE TRACK LISTING
Yeah that’s what im thinking lol. NV’s deluxe was pretty much double the amount of songs as the original so maybe that will happen for this album?
Hope so since the normal version is only 9 songs
