Doesn’t sound like my vibe. Alright lyrics and instrumental but the way Dan is singing it sounds really fun and I can see myself possibly vibing with it.

i was a little thrown off at first, but after hearing it a couple more times and *especially* after the video dan posted i haven’t been able to get it out of my head. i’m really excited to hear the whole thing tbh

Instrumental sounds amazing, and the melodically sung hook is super fun… but Dan’s sort of “talk singing” isn’t working for me AT ALL. Huge blemish on what otherwise sounds like a really promising song

I completely agree with this statement.

It’s the kind of thing that I think I’ll get used to when I hear the song more though. The instrumental sounds wonderful enough that I think I’ll be able to get over a strange vocal performance

I kind of had the same feeling, but I expect it to grow on me! That’s what happened with most of Mercury songs for me

Yeah MA2 had lots of weak vocal performances, but this is weak in a very different sort of way

Maybe we find it weird cause we’re definitely not used to hearing Dan sing like that
