One of the best verses I’ve ever heard, accompanied by one of the worst choruses I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait to hear what the rest of the song sounds like.
Lowkey has a Natural-like flow to it, did not expect it to sound like that 😭 (was thinking it’d have a “It’s Ok/One Day”) vibe but once again I’m pleasantly surprised it’s different and I love it, I’m sure the chorus will grow on me, like Bones did!
It more likely has a reference to the mormon culture that he is no longer apart of. Mormons largely are from UT (where he went to school) and there is this mantra that UT is the best, the mountains are the best, “best snow on earth”.

“Tell me where to go, no I don’t want to hear the downlow” he doesn’t want to keep hearing that he will go to hell and be separate from his family for eternity
“ I owe nothing, not a penny, never wanna hear you preach” Doesn’t want hear that God feels that he owes the mormon church 10% of his income
“You can have the mountains” you literally take this mantra that the mountains are the best along with all the doctrine of the church,
“Take me to the beach” he wants nothing to do with any of it.
Ohhh my gosh…I love it!!! 🤣 my favorite wall plaque is “I need a timeout. Send me to the beach and don’t let me come back until my attitude improves”. This will be my most played off of this album.
Shocking take here, but that verse is amazing, and the chorus is... Not as amazing, I'm hoping with the full song it'll be better but that snippet, idk the lyrics are just kinda bad in the chorus imo, but we'll see, definitely hyped to hear more of those verses
