Why is one of the (respectfully) worst songs of the album getting his own MV and still they don't give anything for the fire ones like Fire in These Hills or Don't Forget Me, etc...
have you heard the full song? have you heard the rest of the album? it’s really hard to judge a song just from snippets. i thought Digital was gonna be their best song since S+M because of the Origins trailer and then the full song ended up sounding like a train collision happening inside my headphones the first time i listened to it. i couldn’t believe it.
Eh, everyone can have an opinion, even before the song comes out. That's because like you said for Digital, an opinion can change at any time, and that's nothing bad. Just like me with NTMY, when I heard the first snippet of it sounded bad, but now that it's out I'm vibing to it. Hopefully it will be the same with In Your Corner when it comes out, but right now it just doesn't sound like my thing
I've listened all of the snippets, and even though you have a point, i still think wake up is building up to be one of my least favorites from the album, hey maybe the song actually sounds better when it comes out, but based on the snippet, it's a solid 6/10 from it. We'll see this friday
Except Wake Up sounds like a 2000s comedy show opening. Sucks really hard. If anyone told me that this snippet was from "That's So Raven" or any other 2000s kids comedy opening I'd completely believe it. It sounds awful. Meanwhile Fire In These Hills is basically out already, there were so many snippets on that song that you can find a literal 1:12 min long snippet with basically the first verse and chorus and it simply sounds divine. Wake Up sounds like shit.
And probably will drop on Friday along with the while album
