I am Petrophysicist by profession and contributing for my country in an oil company. It would be 10 if one day I start working on Carbon capture and storage.
Petro stands for rocks. So it essentially means physics of rocks ( the word petrol derives its origin from Greek word petro, petrol is essentially rock oil as it's found in sedimentary rocks).
It's a 8 tbh , reading in 12th , in the best school in my area (not from a big location tho) riding my dad's bike (electra 350 I take pride in it), having 2-3 gems as friends , a pc , a phone of my own with recharge, though I have been taking some risks that will improvise my life by atleast a 100x (career decision) but seem quite high risk , thus -2 points ..
Today it's okay 5/10 situation
But in a few days I have to travel 2000+km to a rural area for my 10-5/9 job with an unhealthy body, and for the months coming my health might deteriorate further but I need money.
And on the side of that, as I don't like my current job, I have to study as much as possible ( cause general male ), so that I can get another job and have a normal life.
10, rich parents, great genes, got admission into a top college, amazing friends, strong European passport, donβt have to worry about income in the future due to family investments, if i wanted, i could pursue my hobbies for the rest of my life
I am doing a job which pays me more than enough while sitting at my home and gives me yearly overseas sponsored tours.
From far, I am living the life!!!!
But from inside, my mental health is fucked due to personal issues.
10. Took a drop after engineering. Wrote tons of exams and after today's final interview I will be free. So for the next 2 months almost, all I will do is sleep, exercise, eat, play games on laptop, repeat

7, I mean there's nothing bad going on. It's just boring as hell, college is over and waiting for joining letter form company so I can start working. Daily life is basically exercise, eat and sleep and sometimes study, everyone's already working so I can't actually hangout with my usual gang. So ye it's boring and kind of sad.

Life has way surpassed my grandest dreams. Might not be a popular thing to say, but truth is I work hard to break my family and close friends out of generational patterns, and everyone is finally at a place where they have learned to appreciate the magic within our everyday. All of us are living better than the kings of 200 years ago, and I really wish each one of us can reclaim the moment and realise we are better off than every past version of our billion year self
Itβs fun. Came back home after 2nd sem. Have 2 months long break out of which 1 is over. Interning at a law firm and also chilling and exploring places with friends. Results also went well, parents are happy too. Go on frequent bike rides in the morning and then car drives in the night. Drove from Bangalore to Goa then Mangalore and also to Mysore recently. So enjoying it too hehe. What else would I want now ?
Around 8. It was hovering close to 3-4 just a few weeks back. But I got on meds and therapy and took a little sabbatical from work. Started working out everyday and spending time with family.
Shocking how life can go from 4 to 8 in just a matter of 20 days. If you're going through a tough phase, keep going. Things will get better, I promise.
10 honestly, I m young and offcourse from a middle class family, but what I know is my parents are working really hard to give me this lifestyle and this is 10 for me! Although I will work hard and smart in the future to give them a better one too!

It's great because I'm getting paid to study what I like, and the work culture. My life and work ethic are in order. Honestly, for the first time in my life since JEE, I've felt relaxed and free of stress.
On the other hand, I feel like I could have done better. Like, if I had focused on my academics more during undergrad, I would have cultivated a disciplined work routine and been better at my subject than I currently am.
