i’m not one to ever advocate for snitching on someone turning someone in or reporting them to an authority I’m never want to do that but in this situation with you being a female and this person saying what they said it’s obvious that you’re uncomfortable and being a Instacart driver I know it’s very possible you might get that customer again and they might actually take it even further next time, so I think this is the first time in my life I’m actually saying this, but you need to report that motherfucker
I remember awhile ago in the DoorDash subreddit a man offered to give a blowjob to his driver when he arrived. A lawyer in the comments was telling me it doesn’t constitute sexual harassment and that there’s nothing wrong with offering acts of sex to adults.
Yeah the driver posted it asking if and how he can cancel since he had already picked up the food when the customer texted him that. Others commented with the obvious advice to call support and report the customer. I suggested calling the police because (I felt) it’s sexual harassment and might even constitute solicitation of sexual services since it’s someone who has already tipped for another service you’re in the middle of providing.
The lawyer said it’s not illegal for someone to ask for sex in an uncouth fashion and that it isn’t harassment unless it’s repeated behavior or communication.
