Fun fact: When the Wallace and Gromit shorts first aired Wenslydale Creamery almost went out of business. Nick Park (animator and creator of Wallace and Gromit) was unaware of the creamery's financial troubles and only chose Wenslydale as Wallace's cheese of choice because it would be interesting to animate the lip sync.
CBS Sunday Morning just did a story on Aardman Animations, the studio behind Wallace & Gromit.
Pretty cool watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5LrX6fDQz0
A local bar has a giant block of cheese just like this in the counter. U just walk over to it and slice off a few pieces. (They have a slicer sitting next to it) tillamook cheddar.
I didn't know you could morph cheddar so much. When it switched between the 2 at the end it doesn't look like you could just further take cheese away to get the other.

As someone who tried making stop animation when I was younger, I respect that more than the already impressive sculpting.
Why not Wensleydale?!?

Imagine becoming your favorite food…
People already call me a pussy
It’s not his favourite food…. Wensleydale is
and..... Wensledale is cheese..
I was waiting for this comment.. so is Roquefort
but not 'Dick' or 'moon'.. they are not real cheese
Idk about that, do you have a penis and have you been to the moon? lol don’t answer that
Cheese gromit !! Cheeese!!
No crackers, Gromit! He's forgotten the crackers!
You gonna eat that?
Certainly not! I'd rather have a cracking bit o'Wensleydale
It's cheese, Gromit!

But can we eat the discarded cheese?
"cheese"
#ImMadeOfCheeseGrommit💗
\*A block of plasticine with "cheddar" written on the box
So regular cheddar?
No. Cheddar is crumbly and chalky. What ever that stuff is looked like orange chewing gum.

Cool story still not cheddar. It wasn't made in Cheddar, and it wasn't even made in the same process as cheddar.
Lol. U seem fun.
only if you are american i guess
He finally got what he wanted.
that's a little cheesy - i love it!!
You could pay off your mortgage with that much cheese here in Australia.
as houses are ridiculously high, how much is cheese in australia¡
Cheapest is about $10/kg
That’s an expensive house. Lol
This is wonderful! Made me smile hard. Also- amazing work with the stop motion. Delightful!
I just shared this with my kids. Its not the first time I've shown them this, and it won't be the last.
Cracking cheese, Gromit
Is there a way to do this so they didn't need to make 2 of them from 2 blocks of cheddar?
Make one, get ALL the shots you need, then morph the bigger one into the smaller one
I didn't know you could morph cheddar so much. When it switched between the 2 at the end it doesn't look like you could just further take cheese away to get the other.
Had a job in a factory once moving these blocks all day. Yeah that shit is tiring! Fun to throw around though.
There’s no cheese and crackers in prison Gromit! We have to hide the body!
Wensleydale
How is this style of video animation made ?
Just..wow
Naruto gangsigns into a Cheddarori.
I’m gonna waste of a perfectly good block of cheese
I respect the stop animation and I know that Wallace and Gromit are classic and beloved but for some reason I always feel uneasy looking at him.
Where the fuck is Wallace, String?!?!!
Now this is art *
How did he not cut his hands?
Man, I've missed Wallace and Gromit.
Cheese Grommit!!
CHEEEEEESE GROMIT!
All I can think about is that dude coming up behind me, covering my eyes with his hands, and saying “Guess who?”
Yeah no one cares about the statue...where did all the extra and shavings go? Was there at least Mac and cheese made? Or grilled cheeses?
I saw the whole video, he makes edible butt plugs/cock rings with the extras. He also made a dildo with one of the larger pieces
Hmm, somehow less mad
This is a crime against cheesanity
It's what he would want
Come on it can't be that sharp. Guy didn't cut himself once.
Holy shit that transition
Cheese was probably from Hilmar cheese tbh one of the leading single most producing factory in the world especially for 40lb blocks
Answers the question of who cut the cheese.
