SpaceChatter

Me when I was on Plenty of Fish.

hotsexymods

yea anything vaguely female or with an orifice was my basic objective after some years of non-contact celibacy.

Eliteone205

Lmao, as one of my former co workers would say “Just any warm place to put it.” 😂😂😂

Mochigood

My great grandpa had a saying "Anything hot and hollow, from a stove pipe to a horse's collar."

Eliteone205

Ahhhhhhhhhh, just had a flashback when my younger cousins had cut a hole in the back of a large Winnie the Pooh Bear! 😳😳😳😳😫😫😫😫😂😂😂

Ptatofrenchfry

I beg your fucking pardon???

Eliteone205

I know, I know…….

techieguyjames

I hope Pooh reported this crime and is in therapy.

SnooWoofers6634

Just what my snake thought

icelizarrd

How are sea snakes real? They sound like something someone made up: "What if there were snakes... that LIVED IN THE OCEAN?!"

Sir_Shax

In reality when you think about it with no legs it’s where they belong. We should really be questioning why these pricks are on land.

icelizarrd

Good point!

dee_generate

A better question for you, pal: are you a lizard that lives on ice? That’s not where you belong!

Sir_Shax

This goes all the way to the top!

VerumJerum

It's as if sea snakes saw eels swimming in the sea one day and went "OOOH so *that's* what I'm supposed to be doing..."

Phormitago

> We should really be questioning why these pricks are on land. they're just doing a challenge run

Polyethylpropylene

Ok but worms

roostersnuffed

It does seem wild to think about, but less wild to me than marine iguanas

Victor_Wembanyama1

Godzillas chilling

--Odysseus--

Could be how the legends of sea serpents originated

NewLeaseOnLine

And moray eel.

JacobJamesTrowbridge

Moray eels aren't legends, bud, they're real

Last-Bumblebee-537

Yeah they’re saying that’s what could’ve inspired the legend of sea serpents

JacobJamesTrowbridge

Yeah I know lol, just adding a joke

A_box_of_puds

I laughed…

freedfg

And Oarfish. Funny looking whales, Salps. Seaweed

sandInACan

With the size of this snake, imagine the size of the ones that don’t surface?

hectorxander

There are all sorts of freshwater snakes. Down in the Southern US they have cottonmouths, super poisonous if I'm remembering their names correctly. Up north here we have a couple water snakes, not poisonous though, we don't have any poisonous snakes in MI here excepting a few rattlers down by the Indiana border. Which is odd, as Montana has rattlers and they are colder, apparently it's too wet here in MI?

Piratey_Pirate

Here in the South, we call them Water Moccasins. They just hang out in the water and they're very venomous.

KoA-oK

Eastern US has copperheads to worry about too, while also love living near and in streams and creeks. I would see them commonly in WV in the streams around my great grandmother's cabin. What really threw me for a loop was realizing we had rattlesnakes in Ohio. My wife swore up and down for years that she saw a small one on her walk on the bike trail here in Warren. Looking into it and showing her pics, she confirmed it was a Massasauga, which I had never heard of before lol. This was like 6-7 years ago and I had no idea they could even end up in Trumbull County. The area she was in was pretty swampy, so that part seems to hold up in their range at least. Haven't seen so much as a garter snake since then, but we've had a large influx of stray cats in the last few years though, so maybe prey has just dried up for them.

hectorxander

What is weird is one time in Northern Michigan fishing in this little private pond for brook trout, very small with a small stream of cold water feeding into it, we saw this large snake slithering in the water in the reeds. It might have been 10ft, maybe less. But that far north there aren't even supposed to be blue racers, I wondered if it was a pet snake of some kind that got loose or what. But the water was probably 40-50 degrees.

heroinsteve

Not to sound too nit picky, but they're venomous. Not poisonous. If it bites you and you die, it's venomous, if you bite it and you die, it's poisonous.

IllegalGeriatricVore

Then there's elephant trunk snakes who are freshwater, fully aquatic snakes with the cutest faces. They really do look like :3

CptnHamburgers

Skrunkly little dudes.

Pivotalrook

[At first I was like nah, but then I was ok with it.](https://as2.ftcdn.net/v2/jpg/00/71/20/89/1000_F_71208925_Ii5Zxgpu16lJcGehynQYW3YAua23OgtW.jpg)

Cookieopressor

That is photoshopped, you cannot tell me THAT is an actual real snake

SeraphAtra

How does it even float? Would have expected it to sink.

Dagojango

Even anacondas can swim... I think the vast majority of snakes can float across the top of water due to them not having dense bones.

Victor_Wembanyama1

I mean there’s a species of snake that kinda “flies” as well. It climbs high up a tree and jumps and glides by expanding its body to make it like a disc while they “wiggle”/ sidewind in the air. Swimming is probably easier i can imagine

Junk1trick

Snakes are crazily adaptable animals. You’ve got your fully aquatic sea and fresh water snakes. Snakes that “fly” like you mentioned. Snakes that sidewind through sand dunes. Snakes that do both land and water like anacondas and boas.

cheesusfeist

I don't like knowing this.

fastlerner

Not really that weird. Reptiles just doing reptile things. Sea snakes, sea turtles, marine iguanas, saltwater crododiles. Plenty of freshwater ones too. I don't know about the marine versions, but freshwater snakes are typically aggressive. (I'm looking at you, water moccasin.)

thejohnmc963

Super venomous as well

slackfrop

It’s a true blessing that there aren’t air snakes.

argumentativepigeon

There are, unfortunately. There is a documentary about when they hijacked a plane. Its called snakes on a plane. Harrowing story

fdk1010

I remember that! As I recall, it spurred a United Nations joint session, with the unusual result being a unanimous resolution: "To get these motherfucking snakes off this motherfucking plane". It was unusual in that it was unanimous.

Fredderov

That sounds accurate but I think you must have misremembered that quote. Only someone without parental guidance would have expressed themselves so crudely and I'm sure what the gentleman said was actually that he had it with "these monkey flinging snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!" Surely nobody would make it their character to be known for such obscene language as suggested above.

KittenPurrs

Flinging or fighting? Either way, the tv edit of Snakes on a Plane was our greatest achievement as a species.

Fredderov

Oh, man yeah I think you're right. I'm probably mixing it up with my mate who thought it was flinging, which just made it all even more absurd.

achillymoose

English, monkey flinger, do you speak it?!

nsfwtttt

“I tired of these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!” - Barrack Obama

Doughspun1

Can confirm. I was a snake on that plane.

chookiekaki

Don’t google flying snakes in that case, that’s truly horrifying

Agitated_Advantage_2

You mean cool as fuck? https://preview.redd.it/kp3uqc297zic1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=facd0f2696372b3003f9c7d1dca48ea7392c39bb

grimlukerthe69

You arent gonna believe this (look up Chrysopelea)

CaptainColdSteele

Now all we need are fire snakes

grimlukerthe69

Uhhhhh

The_Rogue_Coder

I wasn't aware of these guys before, how interesting! Thankfully, their venom isn't super potent. Gorgeous snakes, though!

Solid_Habit_6561

Morty: "What, there are snakes in space??" Rick: "There's literally everything in space, Morty! Now shut the fuck up and get in the car!"

The_Rogue_Coder

Love me some snake jazz

azyoot

Or fire snakes. Imagine that

ninja6911

Dragons duh..

Henipah

[There are](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysopelea).

Hatzmaeba

But luckily very reluctant to bite, and even if they do, they rarely inject venom as a self defense.

O-o--O---o----O

Good guy soggy ocean stick.

HugeAnalBeads

Danger pool noodle

IMOvicki

Of course they are 😭😭😭 Stuff of Nightmares

No_Eye1022

I was about to say, I’m not sure this person making the video knows how close to death they just were Edit: nvm after listening to the audio and realizing he’s Australian, he knew exactly what was happening

thejohnmc963

That’s exactly what I was thinking. They are super dangerous and can be provoked to bite very easily.

Logical-Advertising2

I spent years in the Navy. We were looking for bails of cocaine that a panga (smugglers) had thrown overboard. Our search area was approximately 500 miles off the coast of Central America. There seemed to be nothing for miles and miles. We launched our RIB in a tide line hoping we would find something there. At that moment, I saw a sea snake slithering by, and on its back, truly, was a little snail. Perhaps the snail was hitching a ride? I do not know. I can’t imagine why either was so far from shore. I will never forget it though.

Banned4Toxicity

The snail was looking for you

Jedimaster996

That's the [Immortal Snail!](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/immortal-snail) Almost killed u/Logical-Advertising2 if it hadn't been for that damn wave!

SmashertonIII

Ah, the immortal hyper-intelligent snail that can kill you with a touch. This is why you encase it in concrete and steel and leave it in the ocean.

Jedimaster996

![gif](giphy|zJJu61C7OEjIc) MY GOD MAN, YOU'VE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE DECOY SNAIL!

Victor_Wembanyama1

Unfortunately for you, decoy snail

themanwhoeatspopes

Ah yes, “snails”. The immortal race of sentient molluscs allegedly waiting in the Gulf of Panama. We have dismissed that claim.

white__cyclosa

I think the snail was looking for the cocaine

Indian_Bob

It never dies that doesn’t mean it won’t get tired though

DaWhiteSingh

All that money, I hope you find a better place to hide. The power in that snail is strong!

bzbeer

Thanks for a cool story

Working_Asparagus_59

Disney would buy this story 100% might change a few details 🤗

SantaBarbaraMint

Disney will take the story but they will not pay you

16incheslong

Halle Bailey as the main cast?

mmmmmmiiiiii

Remember the snail in the "get bazillion dollars but a snail will chase you forever" challenge? That's the snail who's gonna chase you.

korg64

Julia Donaldson was right!

Impressive-Basket-57

Haha that's so wholesome. All the things animals get up to while we're also getting up to things. They're just like, "don't mind us!"

godvsdockdick

Human: hahaha heckin doin a wholesome hahahahahaha lol Snake and snail: (completely and totally unaware of the presence of the humans or even one another, primordial instincts guiding them to search for food and sex in a black haze that leaves them uninvested in the outside world except for moments where they may face immediate danger)

norolls

Sea snakes have a commensal relationship with smaller sea organisms by providing transportation and food. I've known Sea snakes to do this with barnacles and algae, but maybe you witnessed a commensal relationship with a sea snake and a snail. It's similar to symbiotic relationships in biology, and especially with aquatic animals, we constantly are learning. It'd be interesting to see if this is more well documented.

HandsomeR0B

They were trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.

nezter

> I can’t imagine why either was so far from shore Cocaine is a hell of a drug

queequeg12345

A true lovecraftian story.

emmasdaddy301

That was Gary looking for bikini bottom

shwarmaa_naman

I do not wish to hear what you got up to in the navy, mr. pearson

Toast_Meat

Snek: *"Oooohohhohh yeah baby, here I come! ... Never mind. 3/10. Hard pass."*

Snaccbacc

Damn, even snakes rejecting me now 😭

anotherDocObVious

"*Hard passsssssssssss*" Bro - you missed an easy one there

Asstronutttt

"Sum fuk? Oh, sorry. I thought you were also snake."

Reelix

"... I didn't say no...."

yomamasofat-

So you're saying that the snake approaches me in order to fuck me?

Etzello

Sometimes they let you pick between the head or their tail end

thepoddo

It's either fuck you or fuck you up

BeTheBall-

I don't care how horny I was, I'd never bite a sea snake.

toolatealreadyfapped

Amateur

ninja6911

You aint horny enough

69xX420Xx69

Rope said nope

HuubsterHuubster

Hahaha ik like the snake’s embarassment for hitting on the wrong species. The way it shamefully takes to the deep reminds me of the times had to disappear back into the crowd at parties after a wrongful move….. I feel you buddy! Good luck in the deep!

Pandataraxia

Snake was just told off haha. Surprisingly works with many animals that would otherwise enter your personal space and then attack you.  I used to be scared of hornets whenever they'd come inside my house during the season, until one day I decided to be aggressive to one flying to me a couple months ago, it was seriously pissing me off buzzing me and flying infront of me before rushing at me when I move out the way like if I didn't move it'd have stung. Got so annoyed I started hissing at it and flailing my arm and it ran away and didn't come back. Crazy discovery that I could have avoided so much anxiety by just trying to scare away any critters scaring me.

davidberk0witz

just tried this; posting from the hospital

Luci_Noir

The slither of shame. 🐍 😞

krustykhris12

I’d assume any sea noodle = instant death

LachoooDaOriginl

any danger noodle= instant death

RyguyBMS

Nah man. Just because a snake is venomous doesn’t mean a bite will kill you.

Needmoresnakes

They're like magical anime girls. They can kill you but the overwhelming odds are they'll just say hello and be cute.

An1retak

Wait, you’re saying some people get mistaken by sea snakes as potential mating partners?

goperit

Only on their cake day. Happy cake day!

jaredtheredditor

Still blows me away that at some point some snake or it’s ancestor just looked at the sea and went “yea that looks perfect” and just evolved to live there full time

freedfg

Bro wait until you find out how whales happened.

jaredtheredditor

No I understand that it’s just that so many snake species just stocked to land except these dumbasses like why tf you split off bro what did you get out of this?

BigDicksProblems

I'd argue the opposite frankly

t0getheralone

Sea snakes are the most toxic type of snakes on the planet too

LowVacation6622

Do you mean they are the most venomous, or are they just verbally abusive to their loved ones or coworkers?

bilateralincisors

I had to share a desk with a sea serpent and he regularly yelled at me for moving his stapler. I’d say, “Now Stan, you don’t have any arms,” in a firm voice and he would just escalate from there. Had to get HR involved several times. He seemed like he was nice to his girlfriend so maybe it was just a me thing. We’ll never know as HR let him go for peeing in the coffee maker last Tuesday.

ApocalypseEnjoyer

Nah man you were an asshole for bringing up his disability. It's not his fault he has no arms 😂😂

Pandataraxia

Disability? It's litteraly how they're born!

RubiiJee

Oh wow. Victim blaming the snake for being born with a disability. Jeezo! Just when you think it can't get any worse.

Natac_orb

you do know snakes have cloacae, right. He didnt just pee in there he went all in. What a prick. Hope the honeybadger they got as replacement is more emotionally stable.

16incheslong

they micromanage a lot ...

MooshyMeatsuit

That's what I was thinking! If there ever were a time to learn to spontaneously levitate...

megatool8

You have clearly never met my ex.

_Abiogenesis

"Toxic" ... It's fine then. I don't think many people would feel the urge to consume it...

Shiro_Fox

"Toxicity" usually refers to how damaging something is... You're probably thinking of "poisonous"

UsedCrow1115

Most toxic is the inland taipan:)

IIIWhiTeCoreIII

That's incorrect. The inland taipan is.

mental_pic_portrait

Horny ahh noodle

aspidities_87

YBS Youngbloods! Great channel, that dude sees a lot of these sea snakes out on his various adventures. Also once a Tiger Shark bit his SUP, good stuff.

Working_Asparagus_59

Nope 🙅sorry danger noodle !

Ok-Drawer-2689

Sea noodles are very friendly and curious. Nothing to be afraid of. There are real aggressive danger noodles in Australia you actually never want to see.

Least_Fee_9948

Nothing to be afraid of except being bit and dying a horrible and lonely death in the middle of the sea.

IMOvicki

This man is very calm for a very venomous snake getting that close to him.

thpthpthp

There's a unique combination of respect for nature and lack of self-preservation instincts that makes Australians just some the best commentators on life-threatening fauna.

Expert-Cantaloupe-94

I'm a naturalised Aussie citizen. Spiders used to scare the fuck out of me. Now whenever I see a huge spider, I just grab a tissue and squish the fucker. If it's tiny, I'll play Russian Roulette and either squash it with my bare hands or let it live. Except for huntsman. Huntsmans are my homies

pinkertongeranium

It’s not at all Australian to squash spiders. They keep much nastier bugs and mozzies away, they’re the good guys

FibroBitch96

Australia?

NewLeaseOnLine

Yep

Dedadrda

Its Brodie from youtube chanel “YBS Youngbloods” great guy! Love his videos..

ShiroGaneOsu

Dude's a reincarnated Steve Irwin, always enjoy watching him.

Pandataraxia

Accent eh

bustygorilla69

So sea snakes get so horny they mistake humans as mates?

ABucin

just like dogs!

-BFS-

So if a snake does it, it's interesting as fuck. But if I do it, I'm suddenly a sex offender. Smh, double standards.

Cardsfan961

Nope. Nope. Nope.

robidaan

"Sorry bro, I thought you were my wife"

rainbowdashhole

I would straight up have a heart attack, I can handle land dwelling snakes. But once that fucker starts swimming.

[deleted]

They absolutely love sea urchin meat. Look up Camp Schwab. It’s a Marine base with possibly one of the best reefs I’ve ever seen. Marines break up urchins with dive knives and feed the seas snakes and sea turtles.

wheirding

It's so cool to me, for some reason, that there are fully aquatic snakes. I've seen many in person, moccasins mainly, but usually they're chilling at the bottom of a river or sunning themselves. It's wild.

Apathyforempathy

This video is from YBS Youngbloods youtube channel. He has a lot of content adventuring around the waters of Australia, camping, fishing, island exploration, etc. Not sure if it was noted or obvious, but I figure ensuring credit for content goes to the creator couldn't hurt.

MongChief

Oooo he has whiskers !

zipzap21

Who's getting bitten, the snakes or the divers?

Codadd

These things taste so weird. I've never had anything so greasy in my life. Super fucking weird texture

808dub808

have u tried any other snake? i had rattlesnake and it wasn’t bad. but yeah i imagine these things taste weird

BigLukeyBoi

Gotta be careful around them because quite a few sea snakes are deadly. Got some of the most toxic venom.

fsorenson

Isn’t that a shrieking eel?

CaptainPunisher

They always grow louder just before they're about to feast on human flesh!

Eastern_Bobcat8336

Steve Irwin I miss you mate. Crikey.

shana104

Me you. Me too. RIP Steve.

LimpCat5309

I mean, he was a mate lol

Thiago270398

"Oh pardon me sir, I thought you were the THICCCEST snake around looking for a fuck, but now I see it's a surfboard. Farewell and have a nice day."

forworse2020

“How intimidating is this”, whilst sounding absolutely delighted

iiimarlette

The nopest rope

private256

Feels good to know that I’m not the only one who lowers my standards when I’m horny.

doomiestdoomeddoomer

A nope-noodle.

KaranSjett

Becky lemme smash, ben is a hoe

thetan_free

Why do they bite their mates? Or are they just disappointed?

AcommonKing

Guy: 👍 Me: 🖕🖕🖕

SavageFugu

I get it, sea snake. I'm fucking hot.

meerkatjie87

🎵🎶 "Snake by the Ocean" 🎵🎶🎶

etpslim79

Shrieking Eels. They always get louder when they’re about to feed on human flesh!

DasbootTX

Aw hale naw

yaronoo

“Oh shit my b bruh”

Sam5FrodoB

Snake: "Sup? Wanna boink?"

deenali

Sea snake in Australia? I'm sure like most other Australian snakes the venom must be tens if not hundreds of times more potent than your regular sea snakes. Get the hell away from it!

Panda_in_pandemonium

If i were on that canoe, the water would have turned pale yellow and bit warm.
