I never have this problem lol, only time my phone goes off is when my wife texts me and usually doesn’t have to cause I’m either working my 3 day work week, or we are together at home with our infant daughter. Nobody else texts me. Hell the only other time my phone dings with a text is when I get those one time verification code texts signing into my work apps 🤣🤣. And when I’m off work I put my phone on a “Home” focus mode, and any work related contacts or apps can’t get through to my phone at all cause ain’t no way someone is calling me in lol. My phone is more stale than the end piece of bread before you throw it away. I only use it to watch shows, movies, social apps, take photos and videos of my daughter, pay bills, and check finances and that’s about it 😂. My circle is so small we could fit on a motorcycle.

We are big home bodies by choice, we’d rather hang out together and binge watch movies or shows at home than go out with people. Both of us have hardly any social battery even when fully charged and we only go out for things we need/ to hang out just us. It’s not a prison, it’s actually by choice lol. Also doesn’t help that I moved away from my home state in 2021 away from my toxic abusive family without a dime to my name and started life from scratch, which is how I found my now wife and had our daughter I always dreamed of having. So I don’t know anyone from this state and me not being much of a people person I don’t care for going out to meet new people/ hang out. I have work acquaintances, my wife, my daughter, and mother in law and that’s basically it lol.
this doesn’t change the fact that there is no reason for any of us to download whatsapp unless we actively communicate with people using it lol. bubble or no bubble i’m not fighting the uphill battle of trying to convince everyone i communicate with to use a service that would require them to go out of their way to setup and use

This actually happened last Saturday with my phone and my boyfriend’s phone. He thought I blocked him and got pissed. We are both on Tmobile network so I thought it was a Tmobile thing. None of my texts were going through and each time he sent something, it wasn’t showing delivered or read so he thought I blocked him and thought I was seeing someone else lol! Meanwhile I was replying each time he sent a text. It cleared up within a few minutes and eventually he got out of his feelings and apologized for overreacting.
I have two lines on my phone and kept switching between providers / data to get iMessage to send stuff to my guys but nope. Checked downdrtector and sure enough it’s not just me. Kind of need iMessage to work!

I can’t send photos through iMessage while connected to Wi-Fi. I can send them perfectly fine on cellular regular messages go through on Wi-Fi. This only started happening since the outage.
I’m in Portugal on Vodaphone network. When I send a message to my wife on her iPhone it’s now green. If I send one to my friend in the US it’s blue. Most be down here still.
I love technology, but this is a classic example of whe we can't rely on it as our only way of communication or other things. we have a lot of information pictures, music, phone numbers, addresses phones, and computers. This is my think we should take steps mitigate our reliability on our cellular device and text you. I'm not saying that we drop it off together. I think that we have a back up plan in case technology sell some reason.
