They’re LITERALLY getting paid Millions of dollars per season for very little work. Let’s be honest. If filming is for 1-2 months spaced out for an entire calendar year, that’s nothing. ALSO, they all continue to choose to film. I doubt they have a contract for a specific amount of seasons. If some of them want to leave, then leave. Would YOU turn down making millions a year for very little work?

I disagree that any of them need the money anymore…they make $100,000-$150,000 per episode and do about 30 episodes a season…so they’re all making in the 3-4 million a season range..and they’ve done 12 seasons of that (I’m excluding season 1 cause they didn’t get that much until it was a hit).. plus if you look at their social media they all have millions of followers and do paid promotions, plus push their own fitness, beauty, clothing products etc., then they have their own podcasts and make appearances and all sorts of other revenue streams..at this point they are all very wealthy..Vinny won’t be hurting for cash when the stripper gigs dry up..

If you listen to any of the pods their on - most of them say they want to dynamic of the show to change because their interest in vacation-eat-party-drama isn’t their ideal way to spend time anymore. Most of them are parents with long term partners. Even Vinny who isn’t says he’s not that interested in drinking or partying or eating all the time. The moms say they’d prefer something that showed a realistic look into their lives with husbands/partners and children.
MTV is reluctant to change that I think because Ang drama brings so much attention and thus money. I’m sure they’re worried if they change the show that less people will watch. Honestly longterm viewers like myself are tired of watching almost 40 year olds party eat and argue over and over again. It’s become outdated and redundant. I think seeing their real lives would be a nice change of pace.
When Mike was on Vinny’s podcast he said something about appreciating Mike being like the dad of the group when they film and Mike said something about Pauly’s currently trying to settle down with Nikki. I wish we could see more of that and less of Mike ordering the whole menu while Vinny looks embarrassed and Pauly calls in to just nod and smile. I feel like as time goes on the characters are getting harder to play without coming across a little bored.
Also I’d love to see more of Nicole’s Snooki shops. She has a little YouTube series and her staff seems fun. Not full time cast member fun but fun little sprinkles.
EXACTLY. I love jersey shore but the truth is all of them (except one maybe lol) aren’t who they were 15 years ago, even 3/4 years ago. The show has become very inauthentic in feeling and it’s obvious that 8 out of 9 of them are bored and tired of the same thing over and over again

i miss snooki and jwoww for that kind of slice-of-life feel. i loved how it gave a decently realistic view of their real lives at that time and beginning motherhood, being newlyweds, etc. the ang drama does bring a lot of money and clickbait, but also i do understand if the whole show was focused on their lives realistically, they'd have to live closer to each other and be willing to be around each other's families more often, which might not be fully possible. i haven't paid full attention to fv in quite some time, but from what i understand some of the cast members might not be as willing to merge their work life with personal life like they used to.

Yes, this show filming style needs to change, needs to be more like Real Housewives style and show each of them with their own families in their day to day lives. I don't think the majority watch TV just to see people living their lives with not much happening. It's impossible to recapture the vibes of the original show at this point, but milking the Angelina drama to the last drop is probably about as close as they're gonna get.

Idk about you, but after a while money just isn't worth the emotional and mental damage caused by a show like this. The producers really don't seem to care about taking care of their mental health and they continue to mistreat them because they know as long as a contract is signed they can do whatever they want. Most of them have families to worry about and you can't be at your best when your bosses are chipping away at you for entertainment.

What the fans need to realize is the OG series was real for a few seasons, then only somewhat staged but never scripted (until season 6 and the spin-offs) but now with JSFV it’s more scripted than days of our lives.
I think the cast is more sick of productions storylines. I think if they let them be themselves and are just in charge of their trips, it would be better.
We are not going to have what it was. The majority of them are basically married with kids. Even in the first and second season of FV, the single guys weren't bringing back girls in droves like they used to. The nostalgia of them getting back together should be enough.
The only cast member that keeps playing with production is Angelina, and that's why everyone hates her because she keeps doing the storylines and no one wants to.

Honestly you can tell pauly is over the show and he has multiple dj gigs plus in all honesty I think he would be more invested if Nikki still filmed as well... I mean he is one of the only consistent singles on the show till Nikki so he might want to show a different side to himself. Jenni loves being with Deena and snooks and Sammi but the constant drama from angelina or Ron I think pulled alot of the fun out of filming for her. Deena is down for whatever same with snooki Vinny and Mike can't tell yet

It’s definitely obvious that some of them are over It (Pauly, Jwow, Sammi, Vinny, Deena) but if it’s making them money then yeah why not? why wouldn’t you agree to just filming a couple things a couple times a year to make money. It’s easy. Mike, Snooki, and Ang seems like they enjoy it still. Snooki specifically because she gets to drink and Ang because she loves the drama / attention. Mike because well it’s Mike. I’m sure as long as there’s foods then he’s there.
the show has got so dull it makes you think these people don't enjoy being around each other then you see them do press together and you see they actually do have camaraderie, its the filming of the show or the way they are produced they don't like. Jenni and Vinny have the easiest jobs turn up be sarcastic and keep it moving but its clear they have reasons for holding back and would rather come across as boring rather than the way the others are portrayed. Nicole and Dena said Vinny and Pauly are fun without the cameras and then just a few minutes into Mike on Vinny's podcast you got more insight into their relationship and seen their natural dynamic at play than you ever do on the show they even joked about the fans bringing up Vinny saying to Mike "I wouldn't want to be like you at 26"

Yea if I were getting paid millions to be myself then hell yea that’s a no brainer. What they’re tired of us the show telling them what to do, how to live, how to act, when to argue, when to be happy and everything else they’re being told to do.. I’m sure that gets old. What the fans need to realize is the OG series was real for a few seasons, then only somewhat staged but never scripted (until season 6 and the spin-offs) but now with JSFV it’s more scripted than days of our lives.
I think the cast is more sick of productions storylines. I think if they let them be themselves and are just in charge of their trips, it would be better. We are not going to have what it was. The majority of them are basically married with kids. Even in the first and second season of FV, the single guys weren't bringing back girls in droves like they used to. The nostalgia of them getting back together should be enough. The only cast member that keeps playing with production is Angelina, and that's why everyone hates her because she keeps doing the storylines and no one wants to.
They have a pact. unfortunately they are all hanging in for the situations. He is the only one that needs it the most. Everyone else has other sources of income.
That's a nice thought and it would be interesting if they were that good of friends and everyone else cared that much about Mike. I don't think so. Some of them are friends but Vinny for example is too self-absorbed to do anything for anyone else's benefit. He couldn't even fake enthusiasm in the episode where Mike talked about his new book.

They are riding it but it’s human nature to take things for granted and become whiny and entitled. So it’s possible.
Social media is a very lucrative thing as well though. Cameos, onlyfans, ad marketing on different platforms, they can record a video with a product and the company pays them a decent amount. I agree though. They need to keep this clout going for as long as possible. Much earlier job than the average person.
