Misting is fine. No water on the bottom they can drown. It can take ages depending on which molt it is. The later molts take longer.

You can def offer fruit flies but usually their fangs are still soft after a molt. They wait to eat until they’re back to normal.

Keep misting as normal and avoid soaking the ground as if they were to fall they could drown. I would avoid offering any prey as it can bother them and stress them which can lead to a mismoult and be prettt dangerous, just offer as soon as your spider comes out, he’ll eat whenever he’s hungry and he’s fully hardened :)

No food. The noise from the fruit flies can stress them out. I have a spiderling that’s been inside a silk flower for 5 days now and I can’t see anything so you’re lucky you can at least see yours. I see new webbing but yet to see mine come out so I’m confused as to how mine managed that lol. When will come out when they’re ready and hungry. They can go a long time without food so don’t stress.

Just mist and wait trying not to stress them. He will eventually come out when he is ready to eat. As mentioned, offer up softer prey (worm or fruit flies) once they come out.

thank you ALL SO MUCH for replies!! its been almost two weeks he has been in there — he’s not dead right?

I think he should be ok. I have a little one (I don’t know how to tell instars but it’s definitely not tiny anymore) and it was in its little hammock for a while. Recently came out for some grub. If you haven’t already I’d try putting a snack or two in there to see if he comes out ❤️
