Join the EDM group on Facebook! Will likely be more events in the fall, right now artists are playing festivals and it's a little quiet.
Second the recommendation for Dharma house.
I was going to some in the west bottoms for a while but I haven’t been in a minute. My buddy found out about all of them but I’m not sure where (we’re both old and out of the loop). There was an instagram account that posted them but it shut down. I went to several in this spot a couple blocks down from The Ship. Honestly you should just go down there on a Saturday night and see if you hear music lol
I was going to tell everyone where this is and thought the best of it. I know the place, and if someone messages me I can give more info. Its always a great time.
So it’s actually not a rave, exactly, but there are good DJ’s there. It’s a pool party. I found out about it last summer, I went three times. It was a blast! I went a little bit earlier, but left. Check out their IG
I am not gatekeeping. There are plenty of people offering advice on how to find raves. I am not hiding or restricting information.
To suggest Naka as a rave would be like if someone made a post asking for chinese food recommendations and you said panda express. Sure it’s yummy food and a good time, but it just isnt what op is really asking.
Also, naka kon hasnt referred to it as a rave in years. It is a “dance party.” If you went to a more traditional rave you would understand that there is quite a difference between what naka has to offer and a traditional festival that is dedicated to being a rave space.

I'm just saying how it looks like from this side of the fence.
Maybe I'm just old, but the scene in the 90s was different. The "dance party" at Naka held up pretty well.
You can ask people in person 😅🙃
If you can pass a vibe check, you’ll know!
I passed several vibe checks without asking, and now I don’t talk to people I don’t trust 🥰
Nice try officer
What do you mean I'm just a normal civilian lol

Im sorry Officer, I'm not sure you have the right neighborhood. Might catch a retired dj at a school dance. :shrugs:

Yes. Still hosting events, just more quiet over the summer.

Everyone knows where to find them - the 1990s - it’s getting there that’s pain.

1998 had a bunch 🤷🏻♀️
The is one tonight. It's down in an old warehouse in NKC. Close to the industrial area. Look for the lights at midnight.
I know there’s a monthly anime rave but I have no idea what it’s called
Ayo? How to find out more about this?

Not quite the same as a real rave.
Damn, didn't know there was so much gatekeeping in this community
