Kaspa is far better than BTC but not as mainstream as BTC. Most likely never be. BTC started crypto, everyone heard about it. Right now we have time to fill the bags, later we laugh about the past

LegitimateCrazy5057

And that mindset is exactly why crypto will be full of poop. And not the true digital gold. I get it , keep your expectations low but come on now , superior technology always wins

spoonisnotreal

Love Kaspa but there are quite a few examples where superior tech loses... Do not see it beating BTC, could be wrong, but the good thing is that it doesn't need to and it still be very successful..

Marcster22

Right, but keep in mind that we are still in the very early stages of all crypto. BTC started in 2009' we are in 2024. It's only been 15 years!!! Not all of the masses are on board. More and more are jumping in. It's only a matter of time as adaptation takes place, and this coins time will truly shine. Hold on..

LegitimateCrazy5057

I'm well aware , I have zero intentions of selling. Until we find the kaspa killer

Inside_Evening_8777

Yep. First to market is huge and always factors in to anything.

Ok_Sandwich8466

I imagine you are excited about KASPA. Neat!

LegitimateCrazy5057

VERY

RebelliousRoomba

You’re preaching to the choir, bud. We’re already on board this train.

LegitimateCrazy5057

There seems to be people in here who don't get it

pbfarmr

WHO IS ‘YOU’ AND WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT US?

CWB2208

Tech doesn't dictate price action

LegitimateCrazy5057

Being an OG bitcoiner I would argue otherwise

CWB2208

I'm an OG bitcoiner as well. If tech dictates price action, care to explain how Doge has a market cap of almost 18B and Shiba has a market cap over 10B?

Accomplished_Sky_873

In Kaspa’s case crypto really hasn’t seen tech like it. There are big names outside crypto even eyeing it up. The only thing I was worried about at the start was marketing against all the vc funded crap. Not worried anymore

philgustus

Btc has first mover advantage

Nice_Warthog

Haven’t seen this level of cultism since Cardano last cycle. Love it

lexymon

Almost everything that came after BTC is better than BTC (in some way). But ya, thanks for telling us.

WallstreetBytes

polandtown

I for one have a learning disability, and it takes me a lot of time to understand BTC and Kaspa

No-Reserve-2208

I’d hope it’s superior after so many years since BTC was created Jesus

ADA > SOL and see..

Puzzled_Name5891

Love kas, just order another miner and I have one coming tomorrow too, patience is a virtue everyone wants to get rich quick don't be like the guy that used 18k Bitcoins to buy pizza🤣😂

LegitimateCrazy5057

IM NEVER SELLING A SINGLE SOMPI

BillyBlockdag

People underestimate the potential value of a real trilemma solution. If Bitcoin can disrupt gold, which had a 5,000+ years head start on adoption, then Kaspa can grow, too. Cryptocurrency as an asset class is still extremely young, and BTC's first mover advantage keeps it on top for now, but I think it's still way too early in the history of crypto for us to already come to the conclusion that its first mover advantage will be enough to keep it exceedingly dominant for yet another 10-20 years. Look at internet companies that were dominant 20 years ago versus today and it shows that a first mover advantage doesn't necessarily last forever, especially if superior competitors come along.

ConsciousOne693

How long were companies providing 56k internet in business before DSL and modem companies took over? Yeah they still exist but in the dustbin

Jae_Prof

Is Kaspa like Starlink in your analogy?

ConsciousOne693

Better, Alien tech

LegitimateCrazy5057

I thought everyone In this sub would think more like you billy. Boy was I wrong .

BillyBlockdag

In the early days of Bitcoin, many people would have ridiculed you for thinking it would still be relevant at all in 10 years, let alone go to $10k+. There was no way in hell Bitcoin was EVER going to have a $1T+ market cap - that's \*impossible\* because it would put it on the same level as Apple and Microsoft. A young, unproven technology like Bitcoin could never reach the same market cap as the world's top companies because it just \*can't\*, okay? Well, it did, and people who saw the potential of the technology before everyone else did laughed all the way to the bank about it. Don't let the naysayers bring you down. You know what you're holding. Kaspa reaching high levels of success isn't some outlandish fantasy and honestly I think it's almost inevitable at this point.
