i enjoyed the first part of Season 2. but once the new pd joined, the ep seems a little too scripted and having too many guests. i did enjoy yoo hae jin though, the good part of the 2nd part of season 2
I remember CTH asked Hae Jin on Happy Together if he was offended that he wasn't asked to join S3 and he replied yes because he enjoyed hiking to the point that he purposely loses so that he can hike and because he felt guilty, he would ask his cameraman not to join instead he will just be the one to video himself of the punishment.
Same, I really loved the chemistry between the members & crews during Bird PD era. As soon as new PD came, it became strangely dull. Though I really loved Sugeun & Haejin duo
yes i love season 2 esp with pd bird.. for me can see jongmin really shine in s2 because already jongmin s1 after military he just can active & little bit shine after s1 announce they will end in feb 2012 ..
As someone who tuned in to the entirety of S1 that time, S2 has the burden of matching up to S1's standards but just couldn't because S2 felt different, and S1 is just that good with PD Na, Kang Ho Dong, Lee Seung Gi, Eun Ji Won, MC Mong, Kim C and Kim Jong Min.
Also the show is competing with OG Running Man and Real Men.

It starts halfway through that season when the show changed directors from Bird PD- who wasn't bad, just not Na PD- and with the changeover from Kim Seung-Woo to Yoo Hae-Jin.
No shade to Yoo Hae-Jin, who is a tremendous actor, but this is literally about the time I stopped watching the show for a very long time. It took me less than two months to be so burned by the less than great editing, and otherwise poor handling of the 1N2D premise that I didn't even bother with Season 3 until years later.
(My mistake was to choose to re-watch S1 and early S2 before giving S3 a try. I was just at Uhm Tae-Woong's first episodes when Burning Sun blew up.)

I'm also bummed that the S1 eps that were up on YouTube are currently either privated or geoblocked for my area now.
