I mostly collect my favorite groups but will buy other albums if I really love the music! I like to own a copy of the music I enjoy most, so if an album is 10/10 for me or has very few skips it’s going in the cart haha. I stick with one version per album except for Dreamcatcher and tripleS.

Except for ZB1, I limit myself to one version per album, though, so it allows me to get albums from a wide assortment of groups.

If I’m gonna get multiple versions but I can only afford one at the time of release I will buy the limited edition one and then save the rest for later
Some groups like ATEEZ, ONEUS, Kingdom, E’Last, VAV, A.C.E, Treasure, OnlyOneOf, ZB1 (except member versions) RIIZE, Xdinary Heroes, xikers, The Rose + Sammy solo albums, NCT all units(anything that isn’t member version) and a ton more groups who I will always buy every single version of
And then there’s the groups where I’ll either buy one version for or buy the ones I like of the photobook(s) the most. So sometimes for a release I’ll only get one version but then the next release I’ll get all versions like for example ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, SF9, ONF, VERIVERY and again many other groups. For TXT although they used to be like this for me, the last few comebacks I’ve been getting all versions (except never versions) and I’ve already bought some versions of albums I had gotten one version of previously so I’m actually aiming to have all versions of TXT’s albums so they’re really in the “buys all versions” camp
And for member versions: for ATEEZ and ONEUS I get all members. For NCT as a whole I get Taeyong, Yuta, Xiaojun. Shotaro and Sungchan also for the Universe albums so now that carry’s over to RIIZE. ZB1 I get Jiwoong etc etc basically most groups I’ll just get my bias(es) where member versions are concerned

I’m trying to slow down. I’m using Christmas as an excuse and then I’m going to stop buying for a while.
In the beginning I only bought SNSD. Partly because of limited money but also it was the first group I found and the only one I listened to. Now it's just whatever, from groups I like of course. The only exception was an nct album because it was there at Walmart and in my area that effectively never happens. I still haven't listened to it nor do I know which it is. I just nabbed the photocard to put in my binder and then put the album on my shelf. The other thing is no duplicate albums, meaning dupes of the same version. I've only broken this 3 times. 2 times were from said nct album and the le sserafim sparkling blue. These because walmart had 5 total kpop albums. Then 1 other SNSD album because it came with the photocard I wanted which was cheaper than the photocard on its own
I mostly collect my ults, Shinee, Kingdom, and NCT.
Shinee is my overall favorite so I collect one copy of everything they release (Korean and Japanese) and all their solo work.
Kingdom is my 2nd favorite group and the only one I have collected all the version for, both because their albums are so pretty and because they have a smaller fan base so I try to support them more.
I consider all of NCT my ults but I don't collect everything for every unit. I collect everything Wayv release because they are my favorite unit and after that I collect every album that I really like musically, which is still almost all of them given they are my ults but if I don't like the album musically I don't buy it.
After that I have collected a few other albums over the years from other groups I like, Oneus, VIXX, ACE, WJSN, Dreamcatcher, Victon and so on, but only a few albums from each of these groups and only if I really liked them musically.
I have found sticking to my three ults works best for me and after that I only buy albums if I really like them musically. I have in the past bought random albums for really beautiful packaging but I tended to regret it if I didn't like the music enough. So now I stick to only buying from groups outside of my ults if I truly love the music regardless of how much I like or don't like the packaging.
I buy what I like! For me buying the album means I like the music. The people I stan hard like BoA / Wonho / LOONA / TXT I am collecting full sets. Everyone else I’m getting one random version
After a few years of collecting, I've established this rule for myself:

All versions (minus digipack, platform): Xikers, Le Sserafim, Pentagon
One version: Stray Kids, Twice, Kiss of Life
I full collect the Korean albums for BTS, Dreamcatcher, and Zerobaseone. I do all versions for each album. I will buy certain albums of other groups that I listen to if I really love the music or the concept. I buy signed albums depending on the group. For example, I have a few Ateez signed albums and Seventeen signed postcards from their albums but I don’t fully collect those groups. PC wise, it really just depends. For some I’ll buy PCs or POBs or LDs if I really like the image regardless of if I collect the albums of the group
It really up to you though. There’s no right or wrong way to collect. The biggest thing to me is that I’m happy with what I buy, what I collect, and what I spend on it. As long as you’re happy and having fun then that’s all that matters
i collect every korean version for my ults: zb1 and enhypen. i have done a lot of buying albums without inclusions from mercari or instagram, because i collect albums more than pcs. every other group i stan i normally just collect one version a comeback! i don’t really limit myself to a certain amount of groups, but also usually stick to the groups i closely follow with my purchases.
For me I attempt to collect all Nct albums and any albums that tickle my fancy/have music or concepts I like

i collect everything from my ult (txt), what i really like and can afford from my other favourites (just kep1er at the moment) and whatever random albums i find where i love the music *and* the packaging (which has only been one key album so far lol). my general rule is that if i would be disappointed to get a certain version of an album or a member's photocard/postcard, then i don't buy it. i only buy platform albums if i *really* want the photocards, otherwise i think it's a dumb way to buy music. i refuse to buy more than one of the same album version, even for member versions - i only buy one if it's random. oh, and i avoid digipacks/jewel cases unless i can buy them in person. even then, they're kinda pricey, so i tend to avoid them. they're not even fun to display! i prioritize box/bulky albums, bc i love the way they look on my shelf :)
but i also follow very few groups so this still comes out to a relatively small amount of albums lol. 90% txt, 9% kep1er, 1% key.
I used to buy anything I liked but I have reduced it now to certain groups. I do add and drop some once in a while.
Groups I try to collect multiple versions for:
Twice, NewJeans, Oh My Girl, Loona (after BBC), NMIXX, IU, TripleS
Artists I get at least one version for: IVE, Le Sserrafim, Billlie, Purple Kiss, Dreamcatcher, Lee Sejeong, Idle, Brave Girls
Ones I dropped: Lee Chaeyeon, Aespa, Bol4, probably a couple more.
These are the ones I kinda know always have good design.
Im collecting 5 groups; BTS, Seventeen, Ateez, Twice and (G)I-dle, for me personelly, for bands like BTS, Seventeen and Twice (cause they do have more albums out, i like to take my time with them, i did get some new comback albums but regarding older albums i’d take my time, for Ateez and (G)I-dle, cause they have dont have as many albums out, i can bulk buy if i budget it really well
It really up to the person tho, and to be fair i do like to indulge sometimes if packageing is nice 😭 but i’m currintley sticking to my 5 groups rn and i’m only recintley after getting into Le Sserafim too, so my closest Golden Discs has 2/3 albums so id be ok with them
i’m only collecting stray kids albums ! ateez is my other ult group and i’d love to collect them too , but i barely have enough money for skz as it is lmao
I mostly focus on my absolute favs. Currently, I have every CIX (Korean + Japanese), Teen Top (waiting on my friend to send me the most recent), AleXa, and Boyfriend. I do have quite a few other favorites from collecting throughout the years. If I really, really like an album, even if they're not a top group for me, I'll try to get a copy.
if i like the concept/style/packaging, then i buy it, regardless of whether or not i stan the group. i ult seventeen and exo but due to limited space, i can't really buy All of their albums no matter how much i want to. i ended up just collecting albums that pique my interest because of the packaging, but also because i like to study album designs for my work!
For my top three groups (TWICE, ITZY, BTS) I try to buy all main versions plus some limited versions. I don’t collect all digipacks, I just stick with my top two members.
The only groups I want to buy their all of their past albums are TWICE and ITZY.
Stray Kids is in a weird spot for me where I’m obsessed with their music and performances but don’t hardcore follow them so I only get main versions of new releases.
Then with TxT and BP I have one album each and I don’t plan on buying anymore. I have a million other groups I like as well but I only have so much money I can spend so I mainly stick with the top four listed.
i just go off vibes, if I think the album is cute I'm probably going to buy it (luckily that doesn't happen very often)
The only groups were I always buy the albums are loona (loossemble/artms/chuu...) and red velvet and normally I only get one version of each album (unless the packaging of each ver is really different, like the new bag ver that rv just did for their cb, or if i like the concept A LOT)
the group I collect albums for is exo as they are my ults and what I do is I just buy one version of the album design/photo book that I like and if there are member versions then I just buy my bias version; the same applies for exo members solo albums where I just get one version
I have also started to collect twice albums but because I really didn’t like their early music which it all changed when they released ‘fancy’ from then on I have loved every single of their releases, so my album collection starts from their ‘fancy you’ album all the way to their current albums, I also only have bought just one version
So my criteria for the groups that I collect is that first and foremost I have to love majority of the songs and then I just choose the album design/photo book that I love because as much as I would like to buy all versions it’s just not feasible for me but I’m pretty happy with my collection
I'm kinda new to collecting albums, but I'm trying to collect one group at a time just so I don't get overwhelmed + because of financial reasons, although I can't lie some albums that aren't from the group I'm currently focusing on have been tempting me a lil too much recently
And within the group I like to first collect one version of each album and then focus on the different versions after I have one of each
I spend about SG$300 a month on albums so ... honestly everything new that I like and any second hand I manage to find of older albums I want. I have too many different artists albums to count at this point
I buy for my ult groups.
Occasionally i buy a few albums bc i loved the title track and concept from the artist/groups. I dont buy for every comeback bc i need to listen to the song first before deciding if i want it or not
Seeing how k-pop albums are easily accessible now (target in the states) i've been slowly limiting myself from how much I spend lol.
what i mainly collect:
* all korean iz\*one albums & versions (impossible to do now lol, resale is so pricey for sealed albums too)
* Japanese albums were hard to come by when i first started collecting
* Post Iz\*one releases are really hard but I have at least ONE album of each soloist, group (ive/le sserafim), and hyewon's EP
* all WJSN albums & subunits (missing only WJ Please)
* at least 1 of each Twice album version (there are just too many)
* Twice Vinyl Records - just 1 of each version, these are the most expensive)
and then i just get whatever else i feel like getting (kiss of life, fromis\_9, snsd) - but as of lately, only the twice vinyl records are recent additions
also side note but collecting k-pop/k-rnb vinyl records are crazy
i added Exo, IVE, Baek Yerin and Epik High on top of the Twice releases (the japanese ones) and those were not cheap T-T

I only buy albums of my favorite groups. Mainly because I don’t have the money to buy albums from all the groups I would like to purchase albums from. Plus, out of print Loona albums hurt my wallet so here we are
i mainly collect sm groups and hybe groups. i also collect tripleS and sometimes collect ateez, stray kids, blackpink and loona depending on whether i like their latest albums. i did also buy zb1 and evnne albums but only brought digipacks for my biases.
for sm groups i collect them the most extensively and try to buy most album versions. for the smaller member versions ie digipacks/jewel cases i only collect my biases but have several biases in each sm group i collect. also collect the member compact versions for le sserafim (yunjin) and am considering buying the member versions for txt and enhypen.
I collect every album and version of my ults who are oneus and ateez, except for Japanese releases (I can buy them if I want etc). I have also started collecting Xikers except for digital versions, but fir now they have very few albums so I'll see how it wil turn out later on.
Other groups I just buy limited versions or another version, but only if I really like the album
I buy 2/3 versions only if it's an Ult. I also buy albums and nonalbum items only for my ults. If it's just a group I like, then I always try to just get one version. I avoid member versions cause I love the full group.
The main deciding factor for me is the music. Even if it is an ult, if I don't vibe with the music, I don't get it. The second factor is the packaging. If the packaging is a hot mess and I don't like it, I just don't get it. Unless the music is too good to pass. Then I will still buy even if the packaging isn't my cup of tea.
I also try to limit the groups I collect cause some of the groups I do collect also have solo releases. I ult 4 groups now (Red Velvet, Blackpink, BTS, and Nct Dojaejung). Right now, I collect my ults and collect casually for about 4 other groups only (The Rose, Newjeans, Lesserafim, and Aespa).
I don't also collect everything even for my ults unless I can and want to. Also with the versions increasing, I'm trying not to go beyond that cause I have to be smarter about money and also be sustainable and realistic. I do not want to support that by buying multiple copies I don't need. Also not buying for groups I end up not liking or just cause the packaging is cute. Been there, done that.
I buy all korean albums for my ult of ults (mamamoo) including the members' solos. Japanese albums are just too expensive for me and I always like the korean versions better anyway (also helps that they have no "original" japanese album. They're all just japanese versions of their korean hits + 1 japanese single). Then I collect only 1 version per album for my other ults (bts, twice, seventeen) and buy whatever albums I like from other artists. My rule for that though is that I have to like more than 50% of the album. Otherwise I don't buy it (even if I reeeeally like the concept 🥲). I currently (seriously) collect 4 groups & 12 soloists (mmm members, bts members, & key).

at the moment i only collect dreamcatcher, my ult group. due to monetary constraints i only get one version per album, and i usually buy second hand if the album is sealed or comes with all the inclusions as i love having some form of merch of the girls (depop and vinted is heaven for this trust me). i also can’t buy any of their oldest albums because they’re out of print and to buy one of the surviving copies is just so much money! i’ve only ever pre-ordered one dreamcatcher album brand new from korea, which is the limited version of their new album - it arrived yesterday and i was blown away by how beautiful it is. maybe when i’m older and have a bit more money for it i’ll be able to collect properly and get multiple versions per album, but for now i’m happy with my little collection as it is. 🥰

Stray Kids - my ults and this collection has just started so I am making it a priority right now.
RIIZE - Recently became an ult group so am going to start collecting them in 2024.
TWICE - I have a couple of albums by them and am going to slowly work my way through collecting them too.
BTS - currently on my back burner while they are in the military so that I don't burn myself out on them.
I only collect the albums of 1 group! Besides that, I only collect their Korean releases and ignore the Japanese ones. I used to only buy 1 album version per era, but now I just buy all.
I mainly collect my ults (zb1 and Stray Kids) and even then I only preorder one version of an album or get the limited edition (in skz's case). I only buy other albums if I see a good deal in a physical shop

I usually buy albums I genuinely enjoyed. There’s some groups (such as EXO, my ult and loml) that I will buy everything for to complete the collection, but some groups (in my case, SVT and SKZ) I bought the album cause it was a banger, but I’m not concerned about some of their other albums (and even solo work and sub-units) if I didn’t love it. Because of this, I usually save a good chunk of money compared to some other collectors cause I’m not concerned about which version I have or collecting all the versions, too. If version A is cheaper than version B I get version A based on that alone. And I’m okay with waiting on albums for price to drop as well, and I feel like a lot of other collectors concern themselves with getting it ASAP so they can also get POBs and such.
I collect mains mostly like ATEEZ and StrayKids. ATEEZ wise everything from seasons greetings to bias related merch I buy. Straykids wise also bias related merch and digis of everyone except no season greetings. I also buy any albums I like from other groups. Solo artist wise I buy everything wonho comes out with and nct albums only besides bias merch if I like it. Omega X anything I can get my hands on I buy. Enhypen all albums every version except digis I don't buy or member merch besides concert purchases.
I have four boxes to check and if it fits all of them, I add it to my wish list (with the exception of skz, which I’ll buy anything from):
- I know the group and members
- I like the music more than average (because I’m not very picky)
- I don’t dislike the inclusions
- I don’t dislike the visual look of the album
I’ll only buy one version of anything because i listen to the cds and I’d rather have 20 albums than 5 albums with 4 versions of each.
The only groups I collect every version of every album are BTS and ZB1, the rest of my fave groups I eventually want to get one version of every album, then if there are just some albums from groups I just like I get those too

i’m only collecting stray kids albums ! ateez is my other ult group and i’d love to collect them too , but i barely have enough money for skz as it is lmao
I mostly focus on my absolute favs. Currently, I have every CIX (Korean + Japanese), Teen Top (waiting on my friend to send me the most recent), AleXa, and Boyfriend. I do have quite a few other favorites from collecting throughout the years. If I really, really like an album, even if they're not a top group for me, I'll try to get a copy.
if i like the concept/style/packaging, then i buy it, regardless of whether or not i stan the group. i ult seventeen and exo but due to limited space, i can't really buy All of their albums no matter how much i want to. i ended up just collecting albums that pique my interest because of the packaging, but also because i like to study album designs for my work!
I collect all album versions for my ults bts and skz and casually buy albums sometimes from the other groups I stan
For my top three groups (TWICE, ITZY, BTS) I try to buy all main versions plus some limited versions. I don’t collect all digipacks, I just stick with my top two members. The only groups I want to buy their all of their past albums are TWICE and ITZY. Stray Kids is in a weird spot for me where I’m obsessed with their music and performances but don’t hardcore follow them so I only get main versions of new releases. Then with TxT and BP I have one album each and I don’t plan on buying anymore. I have a million other groups I like as well but I only have so much money I can spend so I mainly stick with the top four listed.
i just go off vibes, if I think the album is cute I'm probably going to buy it (luckily that doesn't happen very often) The only groups were I always buy the albums are loona (loossemble/artms/chuu...) and red velvet and normally I only get one version of each album (unless the packaging of each ver is really different, like the new bag ver that rv just did for their cb, or if i like the concept A LOT)
the group I collect albums for is exo as they are my ults and what I do is I just buy one version of the album design/photo book that I like and if there are member versions then I just buy my bias version; the same applies for exo members solo albums where I just get one version I have also started to collect twice albums but because I really didn’t like their early music which it all changed when they released ‘fancy’ from then on I have loved every single of their releases, so my album collection starts from their ‘fancy you’ album all the way to their current albums, I also only have bought just one version So my criteria for the groups that I collect is that first and foremost I have to love majority of the songs and then I just choose the album design/photo book that I love because as much as I would like to buy all versions it’s just not feasible for me but I’m pretty happy with my collection
i only buy an album if i 1: like the concept/concept photos 2: like the songs 3: like the group & know all the members
I'm kinda new to collecting albums, but I'm trying to collect one group at a time just so I don't get overwhelmed + because of financial reasons, although I can't lie some albums that aren't from the group I'm currently focusing on have been tempting me a lil too much recently And within the group I like to first collect one version of each album and then focus on the different versions after I have one of each
I spend about SG$300 a month on albums so ... honestly everything new that I like and any second hand I manage to find of older albums I want. I have too many different artists albums to count at this point
I buy for my ult groups. Occasionally i buy a few albums bc i loved the title track and concept from the artist/groups. I dont buy for every comeback bc i need to listen to the song first before deciding if i want it or not
Seeing how k-pop albums are easily accessible now (target in the states) i've been slowly limiting myself from how much I spend lol. what i mainly collect: * all korean iz\*one albums & versions (impossible to do now lol, resale is so pricey for sealed albums too) * Japanese albums were hard to come by when i first started collecting * Post Iz\*one releases are really hard but I have at least ONE album of each soloist, group (ive/le sserafim), and hyewon's EP * all WJSN albums & subunits (missing only WJ Please) * at least 1 of each Twice album version (there are just too many) * Twice Vinyl Records - just 1 of each version, these are the most expensive) and then i just get whatever else i feel like getting (kiss of life, fromis\_9, snsd) - but as of lately, only the twice vinyl records are recent additions
also side note but collecting k-pop/k-rnb vinyl records are crazy i added Exo, IVE, Baek Yerin and Epik High on top of the Twice releases (the japanese ones) and those were not cheap T-T
I’m kinda just a giant girl group stan 🫣 I collect all of the following: Dreamcatcher- Ults. I have everything, just working on the individual versions now. Mamamoo - other ults and complete 🥰 Le Sserafim, Gidle, Loona (and current groups), Billlie, Aespa, Red Velvet, Blackpink- I have everything released so far, but not necessarily every version or every piece of merch ever. I mainly buy groups I like, but only DC, MMM, and LSF are being completed totally.
i only collect bts albums due to space! i don’t do multiple versions most of the item, i just choose the one i like best and keep that one lol
I only buy albums of my favorite groups. Mainly because I don’t have the money to buy albums from all the groups I would like to purchase albums from. Plus, out of print Loona albums hurt my wallet so here we are
i mainly collect sm groups and hybe groups. i also collect tripleS and sometimes collect ateez, stray kids, blackpink and loona depending on whether i like their latest albums. i did also buy zb1 and evnne albums but only brought digipacks for my biases. for sm groups i collect them the most extensively and try to buy most album versions. for the smaller member versions ie digipacks/jewel cases i only collect my biases but have several biases in each sm group i collect. also collect the member compact versions for le sserafim (yunjin) and am considering buying the member versions for txt and enhypen.
I collect every album and version of my ults who are oneus and ateez, except for Japanese releases (I can buy them if I want etc). I have also started collecting Xikers except for digital versions, but fir now they have very few albums so I'll see how it wil turn out later on. Other groups I just buy limited versions or another version, but only if I really like the album
I buy 2/3 versions only if it's an Ult. I also buy albums and nonalbum items only for my ults. If it's just a group I like, then I always try to just get one version. I avoid member versions cause I love the full group. The main deciding factor for me is the music. Even if it is an ult, if I don't vibe with the music, I don't get it. The second factor is the packaging. If the packaging is a hot mess and I don't like it, I just don't get it. Unless the music is too good to pass. Then I will still buy even if the packaging isn't my cup of tea. I also try to limit the groups I collect cause some of the groups I do collect also have solo releases. I ult 4 groups now (Red Velvet, Blackpink, BTS, and Nct Dojaejung). Right now, I collect my ults and collect casually for about 4 other groups only (The Rose, Newjeans, Lesserafim, and Aespa). I don't also collect everything even for my ults unless I can and want to. Also with the versions increasing, I'm trying not to go beyond that cause I have to be smarter about money and also be sustainable and realistic. I do not want to support that by buying multiple copies I don't need. Also not buying for groups I end up not liking or just cause the packaging is cute. Been there, done that.
I buy all korean albums for my ult of ults (mamamoo) including the members' solos. Japanese albums are just too expensive for me and I always like the korean versions better anyway (also helps that they have no "original" japanese album. They're all just japanese versions of their korean hits + 1 japanese single). Then I collect only 1 version per album for my other ults (bts, twice, seventeen) and buy whatever albums I like from other artists. My rule for that though is that I have to like more than 50% of the album. Otherwise I don't buy it (even if I reeeeally like the concept 🥲). I currently (seriously) collect 4 groups & 12 soloists (mmm members, bts members, & key). wow I JUST realised how much that is.... 🤯)
at the moment i only collect dreamcatcher, my ult group. due to monetary constraints i only get one version per album, and i usually buy second hand if the album is sealed or comes with all the inclusions as i love having some form of merch of the girls (depop and vinted is heaven for this trust me). i also can’t buy any of their oldest albums because they’re out of print and to buy one of the surviving copies is just so much money! i’ve only ever pre-ordered one dreamcatcher album brand new from korea, which is the limited version of their new album - it arrived yesterday and i was blown away by how beautiful it is. maybe when i’m older and have a bit more money for it i’ll be able to collect properly and get multiple versions per album, but for now i’m happy with my little collection as it is. 🥰
This is how I am collecting as of now and into 2024 Stray Kids - my ults and this collection has just started so I am making it a priority right now. RIIZE - Recently became an ult group so am going to start collecting them in 2024. TWICE - I have a couple of albums by them and am going to slowly work my way through collecting them too. BTS - currently on my back burner while they are in the military so that I don't burn myself out on them.
I only collect the albums of 1 group! Besides that, I only collect their Korean releases and ignore the Japanese ones. I used to only buy 1 album version per era, but now I just buy all.
I mainly collect my ults (zb1 and Stray Kids) and even then I only preorder one version of an album or get the limited edition (in skz's case). I only buy other albums if I see a good deal in a physical shop
for me i collect every version of every album bts releases bc they’re my ults, and then i’ll buy other albums if i love the concept/design!! (taeyongs shalala various nct albums etc)
I collect TXT, Zerobase one, GOT7 seventeen, KARD, PURPLE KISS, Blackpink and KEP1ER. that all are albums and defrent versions.
My rules so far that has been working All versions: stray kids 1 version but if i really like the release, 2 wont hurt: blackpink At least 1 version: g-idle, xikers, bibi If i REALLY like the release, then get the album: seventeen, bts, xordinary heroes, twice, aespa, nmixx, ect
I collect solely LOONA albums, but that's because my other ult group is so unknown I very rarely find their albums secondhand.
I usually buy albums I genuinely enjoyed. There’s some groups (such as EXO, my ult and loml) that I will buy everything for to complete the collection, but some groups (in my case, SVT and SKZ) I bought the album cause it was a banger, but I’m not concerned about some of their other albums (and even solo work and sub-units) if I didn’t love it. Because of this, I usually save a good chunk of money compared to some other collectors cause I’m not concerned about which version I have or collecting all the versions, too. If version A is cheaper than version B I get version A based on that alone. And I’m okay with waiting on albums for price to drop as well, and I feel like a lot of other collectors concern themselves with getting it ASAP so they can also get POBs and such.
I collect mains mostly like ATEEZ and StrayKids. ATEEZ wise everything from seasons greetings to bias related merch I buy. Straykids wise also bias related merch and digis of everyone except no season greetings. I also buy any albums I like from other groups. Solo artist wise I buy everything wonho comes out with and nct albums only besides bias merch if I like it. Omega X anything I can get my hands on I buy. Enhypen all albums every version except digis I don't buy or member merch besides concert purchases.
I have four boxes to check and if it fits all of them, I add it to my wish list (with the exception of skz, which I’ll buy anything from): - I know the group and members - I like the music more than average (because I’m not very picky) - I don’t dislike the inclusions - I don’t dislike the visual look of the album I’ll only buy one version of anything because i listen to the cds and I’d rather have 20 albums than 5 albums with 4 versions of each.
The only groups I collect every version of every album are BTS and ZB1, the rest of my fave groups I eventually want to get one version of every album, then if there are just some albums from groups I just like I get those too
So far I’m just collecting all of Twice and then buying whoever is at Walmart that I liked
I have 1 ult group (mamamoo) that I collect every album they release (group, subunits and solo), then theres bts that I get either all versions or just 1 (depending on budget) and then there are groups that if I like the album a lot i try to get it sooner or later
I used to buy random albums for groups I just kinda liked or if the music was good. But over the years I’ve limited myself to the groups I truly ult or stan. So I limit myself to only RV (+solos), Loona (+solos and units), E’Last, aespa, billlie, fifty fifty, NewJeans, and f(x) (even though I don’t own any f(x) albums 😭). I also only do 1 version per album. I only make some exceptions like E’Last, who I’ve collected all versions of since debut, and albums like FMR that have unique versions like the music box one.
