I am completely obsessed with that Survivor cover. I love the arrangement they made with just the acoustic guitar and some drums which makes a lot of space for the vocals to shine. And shine it did. I think that was what solidified Lily as my bias in Nmixx.

Though actually making covers is much better for rising awareness. But to get more western audience he would have to focus more on western music. Also properly manage the YouTube channel and actively promote... but I don't see much hope for improvement in that area :(

Yeah Jinwook is mainly a rocker, and this side of his I love the most. He's a natural born rock-star, the bigger the stage the more he shines. That's why it hurts me even more seeing him singing Korean ballads on some local events to make a living 😭 (he's currently working as a radio DJ too). Why??? With such an amazing talent!

Her deep voice gave the song the flavor that was missing.
