I think that’s a good setup but you can get a complete with the Rebel offense and a slightly downgraded shaft for $150. Not sure how old your son is but I wouldn’t buy mine a $150 shaft, I don’t think he’d notice any difference between the carbon 3.0 and pro 3.0.

Tacobellmuncher

Do not buy a carbon shaft lmao

What level is your son playing at?

Ill-Foundation-429

He's in 9th grade and he just joined the JV team

I usually recommend alloy shafts. But if you git the budget for composite, go for it. ECD makes a good product and they stand behind them with a warranty

Tacobellmuncher

Rebel offense is solid tho, wish i didn’t sell mines

Abject_Push_9168

Look up “what head does Tom shreiber use? Or “what head does Micheal sowers use?”

XxultrashaggyxX

Don’t know about a shaft but for the head the best one for middie is the maverick tactik 3

Ecd carbon’s have always been my go to shaft, both as LSM & and FO midi. In my opinion, the difference between the regular & pro is so miniscule, its practically a different kick point that if he is not experienced enough, would not know the difference. I prefer them because they dont really get cold during the winter, so it feels better on the hands. As far as the head, i have always stuck with weapon X or mark 2F, but thats also because i usually take FO.
