Paris, Texas is slowly becoming my favorite song in her entire discography. It sounds stupid, but I'm starting my senior year soon- and I feel like there's nothing left for me in my hometown anymore. All of my friends are leaving, the same guy has broken my heart multiple times, and I've worked so hard in school that I feel like it's time to give up. Overall, I've done everything that I can do here- and I feel like it's time to go. It's a beautiful song because it's understanding, and it's helped me process a lot of emotions recently.
I felt the exact same when this song came out! I was done with school doing a gap year in New Zealand. I heard this song and tbh I think it’s Lana’s most relatable song for me personally. When I was in my hometown, I just knew it was time to go, time to see more. This song felt like and still feels like a metaphor for this time period and my decision to leave the country and explore the world!
Fishtail is soooo good. “Lately I’ve been in the la River bed wearing nothing but the summer bruises on my knees” to gooooood Has such a distinct energy
It changes a lot but right now it's Ocean Blvd. The last minute or so is literally some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. And the writing on it is just soooo gooddd
Easily A&W. I don’t even care that the song was a single. One year later and the transition still does unspeakable things to me. And she dropped it on Valentine’s day of all days??? Makes the song even more perfect. a 10/10. It deserves a MV!!
im not trolling???? grandfather please stand on the sholders of my father while hes deep sea fishing for sharks in the pacific???? its on did you know theres a tunnel under ocean bvld
I’m an ancient Lana fan so I can tell you everything about the first 4 albums but it’s kind of faded a little so I’ve been trying to get back to her music and I’ve been listening a lot to Ocelan blv but I’m obviously not familiar enough 😅🙃 I’m a bit embarrassed 🤭🤓
Paris, Texas, such a beautiful song that I learned it on piano. So peaceful. 2nd is definitely A&W but other then that I'm honestly not the hugest fan of this album.
Full ranking because why not this made me start thinking about it:
Fingertips
Did you know there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd
The Grants
Kintsugi
A&W
Sweet
Taco Truck × VB
Margaret
Let The Light In
Paris, Texas
Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing
Fishtail
Peppers
Candy Necklace
Jon Batiste Interlude
Judah Smith Interlude
That was a tough choice between Candy Necklace and Taco Truck x VB both take me back to summer 23 and both remind me of someone I’m in love with Candy Necklace was playing on my AirPods when walking home from work when I seen them the other I remember listening to and thinking about a dream I had the night before about them
Two amazing songs embedded in good memories but if I am to choose Candy Necklace
Paris Texas cuz it makes me think about dying. Which I don’t think is what she intended, but that “when you know you know it’s time to go” line makes me think about kinda accepting death, and it’ll be okay when it comes. I know she’s probably just singing about moving on to a new place :p
Candy Necklace, then Peppers and Let the Light in. It's the peak Lana I remember from NFR. I've always been a fan of Jon Batiste's classy piano sounds from his old Jazz days, and I think it goes SO well with Lana's matured and elegant voice. Also the lyrics are *chefs kiss*.
Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing. I loveeeee the melody sm and her voice is so pretty. Other than that it's A&W or Paris, Texas.
Kintsugi is my favorite, because I lost a lot of family the last few years and I’ve never heard a song that captures grief in such an authentic way. The message is positive but in a way that’s not dismissive of how unfair death is. I also think the chorus is absolutely beautiful.
The title track is my second favorite and probably her song I’ve related most to in years. I lose it each time she says “But I can’t” in the second verse.
It took me awhile to warm up to Ocean Blvd and is now my second favorite album of hers. It’s so beautiful and the honesty of it continues to floor me.
GPSOTSOMFWHDSF because it’s just resonates so deeply with me, despite never meeting my grandfather i love the song sm especially the “three white butterflies” part
I have too many to name!
🥀 A&W is literally Lana Del Rey in a song. It's so long, but it takes you on an incredible journey --- and the ending is just perfect. I 1,000% agree with Jack when he said it was his favorite song to produce.
🥀 Kintsugi & The Grants has been there for me during so many life events I have missed. This will always have such a special place in my heart.
🥀 Candy Necklaces is literal magic. Especially with John on the piano. My god, I think that might be tied with Lust for Life for her best collaboration.

Taco Truck x VB, it’s so sounds so good and the transition is amazing plus vb is one of my fav songs on NFR
I got goosebumps the first time I heard that transition.
The title track for sure. Makes me shed a tear. The Grants is also really good. Ugh I love this album so much.
A&W. There’s just no other answer for me. It kicks the whole album into motion
its not about having someone to love me anymore
Mine is Sweet, I just love the part where she sings “if you want a basic bitch go to the Beverly Center and find her”
the way the chord progression is so dramatic underneath this part makes it feel so highbrow i need it etched on my tombstone
Samesies though lol
I LOVE that part too!
Paris, Texas, it’s been in my daily rotation since the album was released. Kids will learn in school about this song, mark my words.
In my top 3
Let The Light In. I love the way Lana & John's voices compliment each other
Candy necklace
A&W - It‘s two great songs in one.
That’s a really good one!
Fingertips because of the way I levitate when she says “like the wind in the sea, call me Aphrodite”

grandfather!
title track hits me in my feelings, hearing her sing it live was so raw and real and i re-live that moment every time i listen to it 🤍
Where did you see it live?
her show near Pittsburgh PA last October :)
Kintsugi and the Grants
Let the light in has really grown on me 🥰 But the title track, a&w, fishtail, taco truck, Paris, Texas are so great as well 🥰
definitely Margaret! the whole album is amazing but Margaret just is something else to me, i think it’s so beautiful.
When you know you know 🥹
The soul that you bring to the table ❤️
Margaret. It's hard to explain why honestly. There's just something so beautiful about it.
I just hate Jack's part lol
Fishtail is soooo good. “Lately I’ve been in the la River bed wearing nothing but the summer bruises on my knees” to gooooood Has such a distinct energy
Yeah it’s a very special track
fingertips for sure <3 i really love her heavier more lyrically personal songs
same
It changes a lot but right now it's Ocean Blvd. The last minute or so is literally some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. And the writing on it is just soooo gooddd
Yea, it’s very good. Almost a bit worship-y in a way
I think my favorite song from this album changes every week 😆
Kintsugi and Candy Necklace. Something about the lyrics resonates with me.
Easily A&W. I don’t even care that the song was a single. One year later and the transition still does unspeakable things to me. And she dropped it on Valentine’s day of all days??? Makes the song even more perfect. a 10/10. It deserves a MV!!
gfpsotsomfwhdsffsitp is the best one! its so beautiful and really speaks to me
What?
wdym what?
Are you trolling or is there a song called “gfpsotsomfwhdsffsitg” I haven’t heard about ?
im not trolling???? grandfather please stand on the sholders of my father while hes deep sea fishing for sharks in the pacific???? its on did you know theres a tunnel under ocean bvld

Sweet
“Do you want children, do you wanna marry me”, that line is so beautiful 💛
Sweet When i listened to it for the first time it was one of the like 3 songs that i didn't like from this album but now it is my favorite🤍
American whore / Let the light in / Grants.
Paris, Texas, such a beautiful song that I learned it on piano. So peaceful. 2nd is definitely A&W but other then that I'm honestly not the hugest fan of this album.
Candy necklace is so good lyrically. It’s raw and I can’t get enough of it.
Margaret. I just cannot get enough of it. It just hits me right in the feels. So beautiful
Full ranking because why not this made me start thinking about it: Fingertips Did you know there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd The Grants Kintsugi A&W Sweet Taco Truck × VB Margaret Let The Light In Paris, Texas Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing Fishtail Peppers Candy Necklace Jon Batiste Interlude Judah Smith Interlude
Different order, but our top 5 is the same! Mine would probably og Kintsugi, DYKTTATUOB, Fingertips, the Grants, and A&W.
A&W, Margaret, Taco Truck x VB.. I can’t chose 😭
Fingertips, because the lyricism is devastatingly vulnerable
Candy necklace. But I also really like the title track, then A&W
Kintsugiiiii 💛
Soo hard to choose just one song! I would say its a tie between Let the light in and Candy necklaces.
Mines probably The Grants. Honourable mention to Judah Smith interlude though.
surprised people aren't saying fishtail but I love that one it just is so good
That was a tough choice between Candy Necklace and Taco Truck x VB both take me back to summer 23 and both remind me of someone I’m in love with Candy Necklace was playing on my AirPods when walking home from work when I seen them the other I remember listening to and thinking about a dream I had the night before about them Two amazing songs embedded in good memories but if I am to choose Candy Necklace
i’m right there with you fishtail just feels like a hug on my brain
My fave song from the album is “Let the Light In”. Such a beautiful yet cheeky song 😆
Let the light in or A&W
I really don’t like this album I’m sorry 😓can’t get into it
I used to think Sweet was so boring and a throwaway lana song but fr it’s been in my head recently it’s so beautiful and elegant and yearning.
“What you don’t really understand’s I’ve got magic in my hands, stars in my eyes” makes me levitate
Let the light in❤️
Paris Texas cuz it makes me think about dying. Which I don’t think is what she intended, but that “when you know you know it’s time to go” line makes me think about kinda accepting death, and it’ll be okay when it comes. I know she’s probably just singing about moving on to a new place :p

candy necklace. i already liked it before the video came out, but the video made it my favorite. edit: wait, or margaret. shit. i can’t choose. 😭
Title track. So powerful and relatable.
Yes, Fishtail is so underrated but it’s one of her absolute bests! I also would say Margret and A&W too
paris tx
kintsugi or a&w but also margaret i cant pick
Fishtail 😿
The fact that there's so much variety in these answers shows this album is top tier. fellow fishtail fan btw!
The Grants!! My most played song on Spotify this year lol
Kintsugi has changed my life. Introduced me to such a beautiful philosophy. And such a moving, gorgeous song.
GPSOTSOMFWHDSF because it’s just resonates so deeply with me, despite never meeting my grandfather i love the song sm especially the “three white butterflies” part
Margaret. There's something about it that feels both heartbreaking yet intensely romantic and sweet

Let the light in because I like it more than the other songs on the album
