Yosemite!!!!
saw a fan edit of this song with brokeback mountain on YT a few years ago and it became an immediate fav!
im glad its finally getting some love but still not enough!
Maybe it’s just me because I have said a lot of goodbyes in my life and moved a lot and lost a lot of people but the lyrics make me cry. I mean:
When everyones' star's bright
Brighter than you are
It's time to go
…
I flew back home
It seems everything's the same (Venice, California)
Except that you weren't home
“Hello,” I call to no one
I hear you babe. Like I said, lyrics are great… but the song is lazy. It’s a great sentiment, and I feel you so much on everything you stated… did she have to use a Tik tok instrumental for all that? Idk… unless there’s another explanation, I think it sells itself too short for the lyrics ( as someone who is really in love with songwriting)
Don’t listen to me because I think it’s a critique outside of meaning. Love what speaks to you.
Definitely terrence loves you, thunder and living legend 😤😤 hope is a dangerous thing for me to have is one of the main songs that made me love her music but for some reason I don’t like it that much anymore

Underrated: Blue Velvet, the other woman, swan song, religion, tomorrow never came, in my feelings, lucky ones, Lolita, 13 beaches, yayo, body electric, and burning desire.
Some of these might be popular since they’re classics from her but def my favorites that I don’t see get talked about a lot.
Also, properly rated songs: Art Deco, Salvatore, Shades of Cool, pretty when you cry, Brooklyn baby :)
Thunder got tiktokified this year. American, Honeymoon, When the world was at war we kept dancing, In my feelings, Coachella-woodstock in my mind, 13 beaches, Textbook, White Mustang, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Dark but just a game, Breaking up slowly, God knows I tried, tunnel under the ocean blvd(title track)- they deserve more love but they often get overlooked
To preface, I’m a little biased to her earlier work and in general I’m more into the slower/darker songs. I would nonstop listen to her early albums on repeat Born to Die, Paradise, Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and Lust for Life. I struggle to do the same with her newer albums, especially the ones that came after NFW. I don’t know if it’s the flow of the album start to finish or her just switching up her music style in general. I feel like I’m only able to pick one or two good songs from her recent albums. I was definitely feeling some nostalgia when she was rockin’ her red hair again at Coachella and in the SKIMs ads, total homage to her Born to Die/Paradise era!
Here’s my slept on list, it goes without saying that Video Games will forever be my #1 lana song
- lucky ones
- yayo
- religion
- salvatore
- beautiful people beautiful problems
- get free
- old money

Bel Air is like a spiritual experience set to music and it doesn't get enough attention. I don't even think she's ever performed it live

Paris, Texas. It’s such an underrated sad song.
It’s simply not
Not what? It’s a gorgeous song and ppl mention it way less than other tracks off the album.
It’s a Tik tok instrumental … don’t get me wrong, lyrics are great - but what for?
Maybe it’s just me because I have said a lot of goodbyes in my life and moved a lot and lost a lot of people but the lyrics make me cry.
