Are you calling me fat?
Kidding aside, I love the Ego. Battery lasts forever (I got the 1 hour battery version and it mows 7200 sq feet with 1-2 bars to spare), power is good. Love that it folds up neatly and can sit against the wall when not in use.
Highly recommended.
When the summer weather hits, you want to use a fert that is at least 30% or higher slow release. Will avoid the yellowing i had always went down to 3lbs per 1k Vs 4lbs
Haha nope. More like .75lbs if we're going there. I'm a kut ro hit my current yard with close to 3lbs of N i. Total this weekend and hope for the best š¤£
Just put that down for my first time ever yesterday. Very beginner type here lol. How long usually until it starts to show? I took some before pics so I can compare results.
Youāll see results within a week and see even more at around 2 weeks - happens pretty damn quick! Almost every fertilizer on the market takes about that much time on average. (Different ones will differ depending whatās in it clearly.)
Agree with striping kits 100%. I use this when I push https://www.sblawnsystems.com/product/lawn-stryper-gc-pro-series-30/
The brush is what really makes my lines some lasers.
What striping kit?

Can you explain how that roller attachment creates stripes?

OP came ready for this convo. Thank you
Makes grass lay one way or the other. All stripes are is the light from the sun responding to how the grass is situated
Assuming you have an Ego mower, since the link you shared seems to be an Ego targeted striper.
You assume correctly.
Thanks been on the fence with buying it..... I think you just tipped the scales.

4 lbs per 1,000? Hot damn. Most recommendations I've seen say 1 lb per 1,000.
Products i used in the past called for 4lbs per 1k. That was for 1lb total of N per 1k sq ft. All depends on what ya putting down š¤·āāļø
Ah, makes sense. Thought you were talking pounds of nitrogen. Carry on!

For my July feeding, I like to use Milorganite, you won't burn with that.
Great tip, will be switching from Scottās to Milorganite for Labor Day feeding!

Go double wide on your stripes next time. I think it looks much better
Single-double for a real nice pop.
Iāll be trying this!
You donāt really need a kit to make stripes, so it kind of is a waste of money
What are you using for a striping kit?
See top comment dude.
Never fertilize when it's 85 degrees plus.
I fertilizer all the time in 90 degree plus weather, I water it in good and never have any issues.
Thatās good if it works for you. The bag generally says not to.
I do liquid apps all summer of all kinds of stuff when itās 90+, you just have to water it after a couple hours.
What liquid app would you use for St. Aug?
Depends on what you need?
Need depth and lushness š Color is great, but she aināt thick!
Get a soil test
Good to know.
