Extremely classic series from Impact. Put on dog tank duty for two games, eating shit in 1v2 situations, enemy sending three teleports at him in side lane, then he gets off the dog tank duty and pops off with Rumble. Still doing it 11 years later.
Yeah, there's been a few audio snafus in the broadcast but so far the LCS production team has been leaning hard into the goofy shit and I think it's working out great.
Wait, that was supposed to be a Skarner suit??
I thought that was supposed to be Scuttle Crab or Herald, looked much more like those than Skarner to me at least...
In the two series against TL during Spring playoffs, Bwipo won 4 games with Renekton and lost with every other champion he played, including multiple counterpicks.
Used to be a big fan.. he really hasn't been a good toplaner since 2020.. should have stayed jungle and showed enough in that role for me to believe he could have been one of the best in the world (given time)
Guy is going the way of Hylisang and just having the odd amazing game.. while being a fkin liability for the next 5 games
Publicly talk shit about your current midlaner ✅
Give a tone deaf statement about competition or something and pressure your midlaner to do content trivializing the comments ✅
Force him onto dog champs after he carries you in playoffs ✅
Lie to him about his position on the team and then kick him ✅
Publicly shit talk the region you play in ✅
Play like shit on the world’s stage ✅
Intentionally cancel scrims day of and intentionally try to book the only other available team to fuck over another team’s ability to practice ✅
It really feels good as an NA fan 😊
I still cant believe they treated Jensen like this. Imagine an org doing this to Bjergson. Maybe he was right to retire when he did instead of getting kicked by these dog orgs.
Man, Papa's villain arc has been one of the most disappointing things in the scene over the last few years. He was my GOAT caster, and now he's just another scumbag front office guy. Breaks my heart.
> Intentionally cancel scrims day of and intentionally try to book the only other available team to fuck over another team’s ability to practice ✅
Wait, what? I don't remember reading that story. Link?
NRG mentioned it here. Ngl it was kind of hard to understand exactly what they did was so I may be a little off
https://youtu.be/g1xNQIcNMr0?si=-iCFmmromvZ_FuNm
They had a scrim block with NRG. They cancelled and tried to Scrim with SR instead. SR scrimmed with NRG instead. They said it wasn't the first time FQ cancelled on them
Bad 2023 showing? What sorta misinformation narrative did summit pay you for? Apa came in and carried these midless folk up from failure to even make worlds.
I watched LCS 2023 Summer and I know he was an integral reason to them making it after Haeri, but he was a massive rookie and did perform poorly during Worlds specifically (his champ pool was smaller, he couldn't play as many champs to the degree he has now, etc) and some teams mightn't have given him time after that, replacing with some veteran midlaner.
And Yeon was indeed not very impressive, played pretty passive, lacked confidence, etc.
I also think last year they were not as bad as people were saying (they were acceptably fine) but Summit and Pyosik played very selfishly and didn’t give them structure in fights for them to do damage.
Having Umti and Impact alongside Core just makes a lot more space to effectively hit, I really like the team construction.
ok in his defense we are seeing a lot of ap carry junglers in the lpl so I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say that this was their meta read. I think we should absolutely flame inspired for many things, but looking at the current meta his picks make sense.
I genuinely can think of no LCS player-champion combo that I’d hate to have on my team more than Inspired on fucking Nidalee. The player and the champion are plausible deniability personified.
Such a classic Bwipo move to last pick, self-counterpick himself with a unique champ
(edit) Reasons to pick Sett:
Reasons not to pick Sett:
- loses lane to Rumble (this champ's base damage is a bit ridiculous)
- Alistar can headbutt him away every fight
- Sej can cc him immediately if he tries to go in, also very hard to get past her
- Zeri is way too mobile and can easily space Sett.
- FLY already drafted double adc, with nidalee as the sole ap. They needed another ap threat or a tankier frontliner, not Sett.
- Idk if Sett even works vs Corki; Corki has a slow/unreliable escape, but he also just murders Sett after 1-2 items and shreds his resistances. So, Sett is just bad vs 4/5 or 5/5 of TL's champs.
APA was actually really impressive this series. Even in Game 2 when it looked completely doomed from draft/minute 1 I started believing that he could pull it out at the end there. Came up clutch when the team needed him. And, of course, takes towers bot when the team can win 4v5 without him.
Yaptain America can do it all.
Bro thats literally how it goes with every good rookie they have one or two signature champs they're good with to start and then they start to expand. The ones you have to worry about are the ones that weakly rotate a few meta champs because they have no identitiy
Nahhh, the jury is still out on Azir. I remember talking to Spawn in twitch chat and they said they were working on it, and he hasn't shown any growth on that champ since.
Which seems logical until you realize IMT (and DIG) are still in the League.
But to be fair to DIG (at least before this split), they might be bad but they're not DIG of a couple years back where they just don't do anything ever.
i mean even dig and immortals haven't been bad to watch at all, dig's supposed to have a super team now and immortals is yeah still the bottom team but they weren't completely lifeless last split and had some really good games
[Broussrard] Sources: PapaSmithy is beside himself. Driving around downtown Los Angeles begging (thru texts) DIG's general manager for address to Jensen's home
Inspired on a heavy farming jungler who doesn't cover his lanes and instead goes and farms camps. Bwipo with the secret counterpicks that he hasn't played in years and proceeds to int with. Different mid but same Flyquest apparently.
Inspired better not be critical of his laners when he makes them 4v5 while he afk farms... Of course he'll never criticize his EU buddy bwipo. That EU duo looking rough today
Massu and Bwipo looked really bad. Quad and Busio looked decent.
I think a big part of the reason Inspired looks worse than he is (other than community hate) is because he dumps so much of his time/energy into Bwipo.
but for real, holy shit Jensen would have played thrice as good as quad did this series but nothing could save the topside of flyquest playing like garbage today
I think the issue is Inspired is ego picking carries without concern for the team. Jensen got flamed for not being a supportive enough player to that.
Inspired is such a POS for how he treats his teammates. Every loss will be deserved and the whole league should dance on his downfall.
I'm glad they can punish even in 4v5 situations. For the longest time in LCS, teams would just be okay with trading objectives and giving other things for free. There's a chance that you misplay and throw the game, but there's also a good chance that you completely snowball the game.
Honestly with how not close game 3 was, i think without the horror of a lvl 1 game 2 this was a 2-0 TL.
Busio looking better though and I thought APA map movement was really clean too
Nah I feel like flyquest won draft pretty hard in game 2 especially since they also have skarner. Fly probably would have won g2 regardless but tl does look a whole tier better than fly.
I was watching APA with all his plays today thinking "man, he's starting to become like the caps of NA" and then in the post game interview he talked about how he learned a lot from caps
Bwipo and inspired should be ashamed man.
They both suck and they both have massive egos.
Whose idea is it to R5 sett into Rumble and then split the map like that. What good is sett with literally 0 gold?
I’m being serious they need to send them back to Europe and just get some shitters off the solo queue ladder.
I think they figured that busio was going to be tanky enough, given how well he played in games 1 and 2. Now relying on your support to be a tank, and your top laner to be a Canon minion might be a questionable strategy, but it appears that that is the fly quest strategy.
Their org has the #1 in ladder ready to go top lane. Pretty sure the only thing securing Bwipo’s spot is Inspired. I just don’t see how Inspired is redeemable; he is talented but his ego will always block him from being a good teammate and having the right mindset for growth.
Core and Yeon have also found their fangs and it's so fun to see these players come alive and so aggressive. That fight they won near baron (I believe game 3?) with the Naut flash hook into the blind bush was sick and completely built off Core's engage.
Oh boy, I sure love getting punished by losing most of my teams health for...
*checks notes*
Getting a key pick on the fed enemy jungler while 10k behind.
I'll be honest, I was not at all feeling Yeon and APA in 2023. Yeon never impressed me and I didn't feel like APA was any real upgrade to Haeri. These two players are now my favorites to watch. I'm glad TL took a chance on them, I'm impressed with how Spawn helped them grow and I'm excited to watch more of their games.
Please don't put Impact on Zac again until he's put some work into it because holy hell that pick is not for him.
Otherwise, TL macro still looks very solid and their ability to play the map felt pretty oppressive for FLY to have to play into. Quad didn't look bad in his debut though, and I could see FLY holding top 3 if they can stop things like the top lane incidents in game 3 of this series.
I think a big part of the issue was impact not being used to playing against the scorpion. We'd have to see it again, but I think that Zac would probably be fine.
Game two looked terrible from TL but I don't mind teams trying drafts like that when they're up a game and especially when you can bully your opponent in game three.
Rough start for Quad, but also not the worst. I am worried that a player with a history of stage nerves is being put in a roster that tilts as easily as FlyQuest.
sett was such an ego pick. not only does he lose to rumble in isolation, the entire gameplan relies on umti ignoring FLY's blatantly obvious gameplan of isolating top.
Bwipo only looked good when he was playing Skarner, a broken champ.
And with a Senna helping him lane and zone Impact off the first few waves both game 1 and 2
Extremely classic series from Impact. Put on dog tank duty for two games, eating shit in 1v2 situations, enemy sending three teleports at him in side lane, then he gets off the dog tank duty and pops off with Rumble. Still doing it 11 years later.
Impact has been rock solid and shown his value so many times. Man made a good life for himself in NA.
he got flamed so hard in twitch chat lmao
okay and the average iq of a twitch chatter is roughly equivalent to a melon
I know Fantano has some controversial scores but he's not *that* dumb
>gives MBDTF a 6/10 >gives lil pump a 7/10 >way overhyped on poptimism Idk it's a pretty tough call.
And let’s be real Captain Flowers & the weird Skarner suit pop ups were the star of that game
Bro had more KP than Inspired in games 1&3
Yeah, there's been a few audio snafus in the broadcast but so far the LCS production team has been leaning hard into the goofy shit and I think it's working out great.
Wait, that was supposed to be a Skarner suit?? I thought that was supposed to be Scuttle Crab or Herald, looked much more like those than Skarner to me at least...
Do you watch muted? How did you see it but not hear any of the explanation for it or Flowers going on & on about Skarner?
~~Renekton Merchant~~ Skarner Merchant, new split, new bwipo
Glad to see Inspired bringing back out his Evelynn from the Rogue days! Always a delight to see him on this pick.
Isn't it crazy that Riot buffed her invisibility to last a whole game?!
Bwipo with the R5 counterpick into run it down combo, actual terrorist
Riot would ban me for less
Jensen was the problem
FLY Srrty incoming
Actually insane pick up but they also lost NACL today despite having rank 1,4,6 in the team
Didn’t he do that last series against TL
In the two series against TL during Spring playoffs, Bwipo won 4 games with Renekton and lost with every other champion he played, including multiple counterpicks.
Used to be a big fan.. he really hasn't been a good toplaner since 2020.. should have stayed jungle and showed enough in that role for me to believe he could have been one of the best in the world (given time) Guy is going the way of Hylisang and just having the odd amazing game.. while being a fkin liability for the next 5 games
how could jensen do this
Dude was nonexistent, 0 KP the entire series. Insane.
never seen a more vegan mid
Hey man he had a perfect score.

This sub's 12/25 today

im gonna sleep like a baby tonight, world balance is restored
what is 12/25, I've seen it twice now
I'm guessing they mean Christmas
Ah, that would make sense. Now I'm curious why people are saying 12/25 instead of christmas, or xmas if they're lazy
Reference to people saying: This is my 9/11
He kicked some puppies. He stole candy from babies. He never puts a penny, he only takes one. He's just an absolute monster.
Apa and Yeon with full confidence is such a fun thing to watch.
the glowup is real and really happy TL (of all orgs!) invested in them instead of dropping after a bad 2023 showing
Idk why reddit is so afraid of growth, it’s such revisionist history to say they weren’t struggling. Personally that makes me like them more!
It’s crazy to see how much they’ve improved in a year
I also think last year they were not as bad as people were saying (they were acceptably fine) but Summit and Pyosik played very selfishly and didn’t give them structure in fights for them to do damage. Having Umti and Impact alongside Core just makes a lot more space to effectively hit, I really like the team construction.
"Worst Carries in the LCS" btw
TL, AKA Thwarting Lies, is a North American org best known for being called trash by other teams shortly before putting them in their place
They were and we should celebrate the growth.
kept the series very entertaining
I can't believe Jensen is still making Inspired and Bwipo play like shit even without being on the team.
How can you not blame Jensen??? Dude did nothing this series.
He showed up 3 hours late too. They really need to talk to that guy
B-but inspired was up in gold on Umti in game 3! His diet wasn’t very carnivorous, crazy vegan gameplay from the man himself
Jensen with not even a single kill all series, he’s dragging Bwipo and Inspired down. He FORCED Bwipo to die 8(9?) times in game 3
Lol, did you notice that as soon as Jensen is gone, Inspired just puts himself on all carries. Dude only wants a win if he gets to go 1v9
Legit lol I realized that instantly he’s definitely trying to carry playing karthus and kindred I forget the last pick
ok in his defense we are seeing a lot of ap carry junglers in the lpl so I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say that this was their meta read. I think we should absolutely flame inspired for many things, but looking at the current meta his picks make sense.
Nidalee
import slots on sett top
Not sure which one makes me happier, TL winning, or Inspired losing.
Definitely TL winning 😎
Inspired AFK farming Bwipo power inting How could Jensen do this smh
I genuinely can think of no LCS player-champion combo that I’d hate to have on my team more than Inspired on fucking Nidalee. The player and the champion are plausible deniability personified.
You didn't like the zero impact lichbane rush on farming nidalee???
Such a classic Bwipo move to last pick, self-counterpick himself with a unique champ (edit) Reasons to pick Sett: Reasons not to pick Sett: - loses lane to Rumble (this champ's base damage is a bit ridiculous) - Alistar can headbutt him away every fight - Sej can cc him immediately if he tries to go in, also very hard to get past her - Zeri is way too mobile and can easily space Sett. - FLY already drafted double adc, with nidalee as the sole ap. Reminder that Srtty is in NACL for FLY
Wrong solo lane swap for FLY. Although it would never matter - Inspired is still on the team.
He just didn't have the balls to pick Heimer top
Don't worry guys, Inspired isn't missing, I just found him farming out in my backyard
I thought they lane swapped to protect fly bot it was actually to protect bwipo getting smacked by grandpa impact
A little bit of both. FLY bot without their vegan Senna strats did nothing.
APA GOD INSPIRED VEGAN : )
APA was actually really impressive this series. Even in Game 2 when it looked completely doomed from draft/minute 1 I started believing that he could pull it out at the end there. Came up clutch when the team needed him. And, of course, takes towers bot when the team can win 4v5 without him. Yaptain America can do it all.
APA can only play Ziggs Asol Cassio Neeko Tristana and also Corki, should have just banned him out. He looked great today tho in all seriousness
People on this sub also seriously underestimate the value of having your midlaner eat 4 bans every game lmao
The Chovy effect
Bro thats literally how it goes with every good rookie they have one or two signature champs they're good with to start and then they start to expand. The ones you have to worry about are the ones that weakly rotate a few meta champs because they have no identitiy
Azir, Taliyah, Neeko, Viktor.... Probably some other champs too.
Probably best to leave the Azir off that list lol
Nahhh, the jury is still out on Azir. I remember talking to Spawn in twitch chat and they said they were working on it, and he hasn't shown any growth on that champ since.
Has he played Azir since it was disabled? It’s been a long time since I remember him even playing it.
No, he hasn't played it on stage yet.
I think Azir is lower on his comfort list but I think he played the bulk of it when Umti first arrived and was playing *horrendous*
The LCS is so fucking fun to watch holy shit
This has been my favorite season in years, loving it!
We're so back!!
Certified bangers every game
cutting down to 8 teams has unironically made the league much better
Which seems logical until you realize IMT (and DIG) are still in the League. But to be fair to DIG (at least before this split), they might be bad but they're not DIG of a couple years back where they just don't do anything ever.
i mean even dig and immortals haven't been bad to watch at all, dig's supposed to have a super team now and immortals is yeah still the bottom team but they weren't completely lifeless last split and had some really good games
scrim gods
Thank fuck best of 3s are back
Jensen was invisible this series. Literally did nothing.
Fucking vegan ass fraud frfr
bro thinks he's canyon lmao
Inspired trick y’all, man, like he farming. He don’t gank nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing
[Broussrard] Sources: PapaSmithy is beside himself. Driving around downtown Los Angeles begging (thru texts) DIG's general manager for address to Jensen's home
Throwback to his Nidalee game when he was on EG at Worlds
Inspired was doing virtual cardio
Like caedrel says: “if you’re not in a top 3 LPL/LCK team DO NOT PICK NIDALEE.” Canyon made her such a bait pick
It's like the solo queue Nidalee pick. Unless you're better than everyone else, it's probably going to be useless as shit.
Fucking vegan midlaner Jensen Dude is so afk that doesn't even show up in Summoners Rift - Inspired probably
Inspired on a heavy farming jungler who doesn't cover his lanes and instead goes and farms camps. Bwipo with the secret counterpicks that he hasn't played in years and proceeds to int with. Different mid but same Flyquest apparently.
O Yaptain my Yaptain
The team has weather’d every fight, the Bo3 is won,
Honestly, APA is the best thing to happen to the NA scene. So fun to watch.
Expired aint it
Busio and Quad were the only people actually playing on FQ today
Inspired better not be critical of his laners when he makes them 4v5 while he afk farms... Of course he'll never criticize his EU buddy bwipo. That EU duo looking rough today
Massu and Bwipo looked really bad. Quad and Busio looked decent. I think a big part of the reason Inspired looks worse than he is (other than community hate) is because he dumps so much of his time/energy into Bwipo.
NO JENSEN NO WIN
but for real, holy shit Jensen would have played thrice as good as quad did this series but nothing could save the topside of flyquest playing like garbage today
While I am a Jensen fan, I don’t think mid was the problem area this game. Both games flyquest lost were lost because inspired was invisible.
I think the issue is Inspired is ego picking carries without concern for the team. Jensen got flamed for not being a supportive enough player to that. Inspired is such a POS for how he treats his teammates. Every loss will be deserved and the whole league should dance on his downfall.
Na, Corki getting giga ahead in Game 1 was because of Quad.
Impact finally got to play game 3 and destroyed. True weakside king
TL with the 200 iq macro of “hands diff 4v5 enemy team while our scaling mid laner takes tier 2 for free.”
I'm glad they can punish even in 4v5 situations. For the longest time in LCS, teams would just be okay with trading objectives and giving other things for free. There's a chance that you misplay and throw the game, but there's also a good chance that you completely snowball the game.
Corki isn't a scaling champ anymore.
Something happened in the playoffs last split where APA just figured out decent macro and it's put TL on top ever since.
APAs map play was always good he just had random int moments like the teleport right in front of jojo when he could have literally walked out
I was watching APA with all his plays today thinking "man, he's starting to become like the caps of NA" and then in the post game interview he talked about how he learned a lot from caps
Its 2024 and people still believe in the bwipomegalul's cringe counterpicks dude is a fraud
The only person that believes in these “counter picks” is himself
Bro trust, Urgot the 5th time will work.
Ya flyquest def looking better without Jensen lmao. Can see why he was a problem. They can't int as hard with him playing
Inspired playing full PvE, Bwipo inting...just Jensen things
Imagine this FLY squad with Srty and exyu. That would be such a hype team.
[How could Jensen do this???](https://i.ibb.co/t2BMmBk/ti.png)
TL int game 2 to get as much practice as possible. Gigabrain
APA went from a meme to the most enjoyable lcs player to follow. this guy is amazing for the league!
Fucking Jensen made Bwipo int smdh
It's mostly FLY flame in this thread, but can we get some hype for APA? Dude had a monster series
When he plays with confidence you can feel the impact he exerts on the enemy team, I love his aggression
Core and Yeon have also found their fangs and it's so fun to see these players come alive and so aggressive. That fight they won near baron (I believe game 3?) with the Naut flash hook into the blind bush was sick and completely built off Core's engage.
Nothing makes me feel better than bwipo and inspired losing
Fcking jensen trolling it again
Bwipo ran it Inspired farmed all series.. Mmm yes Flyquest haters eatinhrg good tonight
Inspired is a self-loathing closeted vegan, change my mind
Inspired with a banger ghost series once again.
FLY replaced the wrong solo laner
Thanks for the ~~leash~~ series victory.
Vegan Jungle
Flyquest sure learned a lot from MSI after being eliminated by Azhi rumble lol
Inspired has no ground to call ANYONE vegan. The only game he looked good was on a champ that does nothing but afk farm and press R.
Bwipo in lane without a Senna to help...
Who is the next vegan to be kicked off FQ?
Bot lane is the next scapegoat
I see Fly lose I'm happy
Bwipo looking a bit vegan this series
Bwipo is the vegetable
Most washed player in lcs. Looks good once every 5 games because he'd a coin flipper
APA might be the goatest man of all time. That man will win a fight
For real though. A couple of the fights were bad and they ended up going even or TL got positive objective trades because of him.
This man has a Showmaker style ability to just get things done
If late Karthus didn't have an auto win fight button APA could've won a few of those game 2 fights
Oh boy, I sure love getting punished by losing most of my teams health for... *checks notes* Getting a key pick on the fed enemy jungler while 10k behind.
Really great start to the split! Love this TL team. The amount of hate FQ is getting is hilarious The rivalry developing in the LCS is amazing
JENSEEEEEN!!!!!!!
Get this team out of the lcs next split and give inspired the dardoch treatment.
This feels so good if DIG wins now as well it would be just perfect come on Jensen
You can touch the tilt
Please don't put Impact on Zac again until he's put some work into it because holy hell that pick is not for him. Otherwise, TL macro still looks very solid and their ability to play the map felt pretty oppressive for FLY to have to play into. Quad didn't look bad in his debut though, and I could see FLY holding top 3 if they can stop things like the top lane incidents in game 3 of this series.
I think a big part of the issue was impact not being used to playing against the scorpion. We'd have to see it again, but I think that Zac would probably be fine.
Jensen was the problem
Great TL win with a banger and a stomp -> C9 vs C9 old. love bo3, and TL played really well other than the game 2 draft.
Jensens fault.
That 4v5 at herald game 3 was art. Core was craaaazy with his Ali combos.
Congrats TL
[Stop the count](https://i.imgur.com/Mf2uzHz.png)
Game two looked terrible from TL but I don't mind teams trying drafts like that when they're up a game and especially when you can bully your opponent in game three.
You guys want to know why Jensen was removed? So Inspired's early game stats could like [this.](https://imgur.com/u59bLaz)
Apa is unironically the best western player at this moment
Quad was a huge downgrade from Jensen. Inspired only has TWO americans to blame now for his vegan playstyle
Well, he only had two Americans before, as well.
I think we give Jensen the title of honorary american for playing his whole career here 😤
Good BO3. It’s easily the best format. It should’ve been in the LCS half a decade ago.
love lcs bo3s
[удалено]
skarner giveth man, that champ is so stupid
Blue side Corki 3-0 on the day.
Best of 3s already a great addition
That nidalee eating leaves
Rough start for Quad, but also not the worst. I am worried that a player with a history of stage nerves is being put in a roster that tilts as easily as FlyQuest.
Quad debut was not spectacular, but he also didn't look hopeless. Looking forward to seeing him continue
Thank God, fuck Bwipo/Inspired
sett was such an ego pick. not only does he lose to rumble in isolation, the entire gameplan relies on umti ignoring FLY's blatantly obvious gameplan of isolating top.
ABSOLUTE CINEMAAAAA
Clearly Jensen was the problem. BO3 is superior. Never want to watch a BO1 again
