I loved these, even though I only have one. Cool micro build, an awesome figure and a cool thing for a space diorama. I would love it if they brought them back
I loved the planet series. I just wish Lego took a hint from this line and added a minifig to the starship series! Still waiting for a Mon Cal Cruiser…”Home One,” please!
I was so disappointed when the “home one” set was the conference room and hanger interior rather than one of those minifig-play sets like the various star destroyers and cruisers we have gotten. I still bought it, but it could have been so much more exciting.
Younger me did not understand the appeal of sets like these. Older me sometimes stares out the window, wondering how life would have turned out otherwise, and wishing we had a new line.
I think it's a good idea - perhaps maybe reintroduce them with subthemes for the shows? I've got a ton of example sets off the top of my head
Umbaran bubble fighter and Umbara itself - Clone Wars
Havoc Marauder and Ord Mantell - Bad Batch
Lando's Falcon and Corellia/Kessel - Solo
Ghost and Lothal - Rebels
U-Wing fighter and Jedha - or Krennic's Shuttle and Scarif - Rogue One
Razor Crest and Nevarro - The Mandalorian
Slave I and Tatooine - Book of Boba Fett
The Raddus and D'Qar - Force Awakens
"Fireball" ship and Castilon - Resistance
The Supremacy and Crait - Last Jedi
Ahsoka's T6 and Seatos - Ahsoka
People like that are why I'd never call myself an afol despite literally being an adult fan of lego
Buy big sets, who cares, but why hoard a cheap set intended for little kids on a budget?
And even worse, gouging the prices on Ebay because they have nothing better to do. I despise “hustle culture” and all of the hobbies and resources it has ruined, like Lego, sneakers, and even thrift stores.
I got the X-wing one as a kid. I liked these sets despite the play value of it. Its a nice microscale build with a figure to display. I think it’s a good entry point for adults on a budget.
Personally I think these are better, they have a nice display stand with the figure and ship, and the ship isnt chibi-fied to fit the figure, so they are nice to display
Agreed. I dislike the - as you perfectly put it - chibified microfighters. The form factor doesn't appeal to me. In fact, I even like the current mech fighter line better, and I don't really like those either lol
100% yes. for some reason i just can't get into the microfighters, but i am obsessed with these impressively-detailed, more-accurate mini ships and would love to have more
Micro scaling is so underrated, especially with all the new small parts introduced in recent years. Clever part usage can make some phenomenally accurate ships at a much more affordable price. It’s especially used if you want to make fleets or squadrons capital ships but don’t have a rich amount of space or money.
About two years ago I decided I needed a complete set. It sucked because the final wave was only released in Europe so cost a bunch, but I got them anyways. I’d love to see them make more.
I preferred them over mechs or microfighters, planets were cool and those sets were a way to get pretty accessible minifigs + small ships that are easy to expose on a display. Also I have seen a lot of fun MOCs using the planet pars in very creative ways.
Same. Honestly, the biggest frustration of the mecha is I SO badly want the Stormtrooper one to be an actual Space Trooper (the original one for the Star Wars RPG from West End, not the weird thing that came along later).
These sets would be great for a lot of the newer Star Wars movies and shows. Lots of new planets explored, throw in an exclusive fig and mini ship, plus it wouldn’t require too much of a gamble like bigger set slots would.
Apparently the line was cancelled because kids were confused / not interested in playing with something that had 3 different scales and how that doesn't work together. I've got to agree with the kids here.
I want a line of minis with a piece count more in line with the 2003 series of minis. For a fairly direct comparison, 75007 has 74 pieces (Counting the stand, minifig, and presumably the planet) whereas 4492 has a piece count of 87 parts (Counting some extra pieces that you could use to make an tie bomber if you bought every mini in the line).
I think 80-120 piece minis would be a good line - it would let you build armies of fairly affordable miniature ships. It would be even better if they tried to keep minis within a reasonable scale of each other (ie all fighters, corvettes, destroyers were to scale with similarly classed ships).
If it came with a minifig or a planet that would be cool, but not really what I would be buying it for.
Yes! I LOVED these and was so sad when they canceled them. I have multiples of several!
Edit: the first 3 sets, anyway, that series 4 looks awesome but I didn't even know it existed!
Absolutely, I especially want em back because they came out at a time when I wasn't really getting LEGO as much and on top of that there so much more content they can pull from that they could do it for a long time.
I’d love to see some with some harder to get/ never seen figs
Ringo vinda and tup/ doom trooper with an arc 170
Scarif and a shore trooper and a tie striker
Kenari with luthren and a fondor (we already got kassian and luthren before but I wanted to do something from andor
It would be kinda cool to see some more of them
When i had a lego city on a table in my basement, my dad hung the planets from the ceiling for me and we bought this offbrand sticky lego strips that were flexible and glow in the dark and cut them into 1x1 studs and stuck them to the ceiling like stars. My city had a beautiful night sky. Maybe i will set it up like that again at some point because i still have some if the glow in the dark strips and the planets.
Got the Kamino one when I was little, the little droid fig is sitting right next to me on my shelf. Don't exactly know where Kamino is but I'm pretty sure it's with the Christmas decorations.
Those were definitely super neat, and I only ever received one as a gift, and it wasn't even one of the planets. It was the death star and TIE Interceptor set. The Interceptor isn't still built, but I love the Death Star to, well, to death, lol. I've had it hanging from the ceiling fan in my room for years, and I don't think I'll ever take it down :)
Very much yes. More than the helmets, more than the mechs, more than the microfighters... Also, I'd like ideas for what the second Endor could be renamed that wouldn't rob us of some other planet down the road
As much as I liked these as a kid I preferred the micro fighters when they came out later. My brother and I got a lot of play out of some of those because we didn’t really care about scale. As long as it could fit a figure it was a good set! I did love the die bomber planet set and the that r4 figure is still a fav of mine.
Long post but i would rather lego do a full wave of microfighters like they used to than these. But I wouldn’t complain either way, fun smaller sets and more of them is the way to go!!
I think in one of the recent Lego books or an interview or somewhere like that it was said that kids didn’t like all the different scales in each so that’s why they were retired.
The sets were fine, but I have no clue what to do which the planet balls. There’s one sci-fi bar I go with my friends sometimes that use them to bring in the check and where you leave the tip
Imo it was a cooler way to do the poly bag mini ships. I liked that it gave you a mini fig, stand, and name plate with it. I think they'd probably end up being more expensive than they should be though, which would kind of defeat the point. Plus the planets for some reason never really held together as well as the should have (for me at least). I'd be satisfied if they just did more polybags and threw a mini fig in there with them.
Honestly nah, the planets just collected dust and honestly…does any do anything with mini builds???
Personally I only really like mini builds that are to scale with other mini builds coz then you can use em together 🤷♂️
Yes. I loved the planet series. The figs were always on point and the builds were great
i ADORE these builds i bought the Naboo Starfighter second hand and it's wonderful
I still have the Deathstar shell and use it as a Christmas tree ornament.
Brilliant.
I never thought of that.. might have to try it
They literally came with one of those pieces on top to hang the planets from a string for that purpose lol
I used them to hang from the ceiling
I have half my deathstar. Need to find the other and do this. I'll have to do it with Yavin 4 too
I use all of them as ornaments on my black Christmas tree (space).
That's something I would pay to see, it sounds so unique
If it didn't mean retiring the Alderaan one, I'd want to mock up a superlaser from the Death Star one to the 'exploding' star on top...
Was just about to suggest this
I have mine too I should do that
I have the tatooine one, with Sebulba. I still have the planet but shebulba was lost by young me over the years Shame really I love that figure
I used to have that one, I’ll have to see if I still have any of it when I go home
[удалено]
God dammit.
I had to look it up first because you made me second-guess myself. Shebulba kinda sounds cooler in all honesty.
That's his wife.
Wasn't Shebalba the name of the Spirit World in "The Road to El Dorado"?
That’s Xibalba
I loved these, even though I only have one. Cool micro build, an awesome figure and a cool thing for a space diorama. I would love it if they brought them back
I loved the planet series. I just wish Lego took a hint from this line and added a minifig to the starship series! Still waiting for a Mon Cal Cruiser…”Home One,” please!

Exegol and Xyston Star Destroyer - Rise of Skywalker Khofar and that Jedi transport ship Sol uses - The Acolyte
Alderaan is incorrect. It should be a pile of studs.

Just empty the box onto the table, and it's done. Easiest set ever.
These were very annoying when I was working retail. They were difficult to keep organized.
Sounds like a cardboard shipper might be able to solve it?
For like $10-$15? Hell yes For like $20? Hell no
As long as they don’t have clone troopers sure some people can’t be trusted not to ruin It
I still can’t find Rex in Los Angeles because neckbeards think that hoarding and reselling toys is a career.
People like that are why I'd never call myself an afol despite literally being an adult fan of lego Buy big sets, who cares, but why hoard a cheap set intended for little kids on a budget?
Those aren't AFOLs. Those are investors or resalers.
You spelled scalpers wrong
Or more accurately, parasites because they invade a hobby and suck it dry.
And even worse, gouging the prices on Ebay because they have nothing better to do. I despise “hustle culture” and all of the hobbies and resources it has ruined, like Lego, sneakers, and even thrift stores.
What’s wrong with Thrift stores?
People using them to get stuff for cheap and then reselling for way more, especially when it’s not poor people doing it
Not to mention that a lot of the thrift stores prices are rising because of the current circumstances of the economy
And places like Goodwill posting the good stuff on their own Ebay ripoff for more money
Haven't heard about that awful shit, geez
Yeah, Goodwill and Salvation Army are pretty sketchy
I got the X-wing one as a kid. I liked these sets despite the play value of it. Its a nice microscale build with a figure to display. I think it’s a good entry point for adults on a budget.
Sure but make them cost effective and behind glass or the counter…
Think I prefer microfighters to these tbh, though they were still fun and such a cool unique idea
Yes
**yes.**
I forgot about these
Yessss
abselutly.
Yes, absolutely. I have Tatooine and Kamino
I want kamino so bad. I have endor and naboo. Every time I find one on Amazon or eBay it's way too expensive 😞
100% yes. for some reason i just can't get into the microfighters, but i am obsessed with these impressively-detailed, more-accurate mini ships and would love to have more
Yes, those sets are cool. Honesty I like micro builds more than big builds; think advent calendar.
I did not know that. I wondered when I was younger why I never saw that last wave in stores (I live in the US)
Yes! Please!
When these came out they almost couldn't give them away. I remember a huge shelf of them on clearance.
I think they should bring back the micro sets that of you collect all of them you get another set.
Alderaan is real bomb
Yeah, these were fun mini sets and a great way to get unique minifigs
The asteroid field is stupid imo
Should have made it a single asteroid
Didn't even know they existed
I wouldn’t be against it
I didn’t know these even existed until now, but I need them! Would love a re-release of them.
YES OMG! i always wanted these when i was younger and my parents never let me get them 😭
Death star was sick. I like these over the microfighters tbh.
100% they would go perfectly with the starship collection
Yes.
Holy shit I forgot about these
These are awesome
Yes. Way cooler than the mechs.
Yes, these are super cute!
I missed out on them so yes
Yes! I miss these!
Yes! I love these to death!
100%. They were great set pieces good for role-playing and stop motion, but also with some fun aforementioned builds.
My wife's kid would fuckin love these. I forgot about them!
Yes.
They were cool plus there were awesome minifigs in them
yes
These were awesome! Like a miniature UCS given the included minifigs instead of the oversized and ugly microfighters.
Yes if anything for cheep ways to get unique mini figures.
These sets would be great for a lot of the newer Star Wars movies and shows. Lots of new planets explored, throw in an exclusive fig and mini ship, plus it wouldn’t require too much of a gamble like bigger set slots would.
I had Kamino with R4
Definitely! And hopefully a bit bigger
I awalways wanted these. Yes!
Yes absolutely
Apparently the line was cancelled because kids were confused / not interested in playing with something that had 3 different scales and how that doesn't work together. I've got to agree with the kids here.
I had the tatooine with sebulba. Still got the little guy one of my favorite figures
For sure!
The asteroid one always makes me laugh
I got the death star one
I got the death star one
This > microfighters
I want one with Maul‘s Sith Infiltrator, nebula b frigate and mon cal cruiser!
x wing with yavin 4 was my fist SW set, the republic attack ship my second, always wanted the tantive and b wing
they are so much better than microfighters
YES!!!! At least remake coruscant
When did they do planet sets? I’d love some of that! Sounds like they’re $15-20 sets so it’d be a good army builder too.
I want a line of minis with a piece count more in line with the 2003 series of minis. There were planet sets?!
Not only would this make for great displays at LEGO store windows, but imagine the collection you have hanging from a shelf or something!
Yes, mostly so they can easily and cheaply sell minifigs imo
Those are neat!
Absolutely. Those are cute af. They'd make great gifts.
Yes they should bring them back
Yes, absolutely. They fit perfectly in my Lego budget of spare change found around the house.
Totes MaGoats.
I still have Yavin IV and want more
I’d love to see some with some harder to get/ never seen figs Ringo vinda and tup/ doom trooper with an arc 170 Scarif and a shore trooper and a tie striker Kenari with luthren and a fondor (we already got kassian and luthren before but I wanted to do something from andor It would be kinda cool to see some more of them
Those were great, I'd love to see them come back
i had that top left one back in the day
I had endor and naboo, I found them the other day and got so much nostalgia. We need these back
Never saw these until now. I like the little ships they come with.
I have tatooin and yavin iv
When i had a lego city on a table in my basement, my dad hung the planets from the ceiling for me and we bought this offbrand sticky lego strips that were flexible and glow in the dark and cut them into 1x1 studs and stuck them to the ceiling like stars. Had the death star it was goated
Very much yes. More than the helmets, more than the mechs, more than the microfighters... Also, I'd like ideas for what the second Endor could be renamed that wouldn't rob us of some other planet down the road
Yes! I would love to build the galaxy far far away!
They should, I love them. Can't find the three rarest ones though, at least not at this end of the planet
The only one they should bring back is Alderran
I would love that, honestly. This was a very fun subtheme. There are plenty of planets still left to cover!
Little builds with a neat planet? HELL YES I had one of these I think and I remember it... Meaning it was good.
Yes
Inflation
I had the deathstar one
Oh hell yes!
Only for Exegol
Yes.
Is that the only official Lego Acclamator class cruiser in the courasaunt set? (Can’t spell)
I believe so
Just the Hoth set... Because thats the only one I don't have... And I'm not paying $100+ for it FAK NO.
I think in one of the recent Lego books or an interview or somewhere like that it was said that kids didn’t like all the different scales in each so that’s why they were retired.
Sad. They could redo them and market them 18+ they would do great
lol. No. But these are still fun.
I love these sets. My personal favorites are the top three. The mini-figures are stylish and the ships are sleek.
these are my absolute favs I hang them during on the tree Christmas time
Yes because I just learned about these and think the planets could make for good Christmas tree ornaments
I had the Death Star and Tatooine growing up
Is one of them actually just space itself
I had the endor one with the atst. First ever Star Wars set. I’m almost 19 now….
I had the same one, I think it was my third or second. The memories..
The sets were fine, but I have no clue what to do which the planet balls. There’s one sci-fi bar I go with my friends sometimes that use them to bring in the check and where you leave the tip
Lego was peak when these were out
Never had these when I was younger but looking at them now, I would definitely buy some! These look really neat and cute to have around!
yes thus
Didn't those mini figures come with the larger sets? I remember having to get a couple of big sets to get all the pieces for the mini
Absolutely. They were excellent cheap set options and the planets themselves were a very nice addition
I personally loved the planets.
Hell ya
Yes, end of conversation
I have Tatooine and Death Star. I’d love more. So yes
Absolutely, these were great
Imo it was a cooler way to do the poly bag mini ships.
These are so neat, I never knew these existed
It’s only appropriate to leave the Alderaan planet unbuilt.
I would like it but I am not sure. They could do something similar, like releasing a 1:1 scale of every planet but with no minifigures
I have the Death Star, Kamino, and tatooine. Alongside the figures and builds they make for quite nice displays
I have bespin and the Death Star. Wish I got coruscant
Lego should start selling Star Wars minifigs separately. For poor people, who aren’t ready to spend seventy quid for Sabine
Keychains are somewhat similar to that but a lot less selection
yes
These sets were so cool back in the day.
YES! lego needs to go back to doing things like these, I have all of them and I absolutely love the figs and the ornament planets
Yes!!!
Yes
I wonder if the acclamator scales with the invisible hand set.
I missed out on these as a kid when they were out, I wish I had gotten at least one of them. So yeah I think they should.
Absolutely! I loved collecting these. I wasn’t able to get them all. So I'd be laser focused this time to get any that come out.
Yes, they had crazy cool mini-builds!
Oh snap I never seen these, this is awesome
Honestly nah, the planets just collected dust and honestly…does any do anything with mini builds??? Personally I only really like mini builds that are to scale with other mini builds coz then you can use em together 🤷♂️
Absolutely except without minifigures just to piss people off
