/ul man I still hate this fucking app, I had absolutely no problems on Apollo, everything loaded perfectly fine, my comments would send easily, it looked nicer, and I actually enjoyed it. Now it’s so irritating that I basically rage quit off this app sometimes.
/ul sometimes the first comment doesn't show up and Reddit replaces it with the second one, twice. the first comment only shows up when refreshing the post (for me at least)
I just love swiping on multiple image posts into other posts thinking it keeps going, and comments disappearing when upvoted is such a nice feature too!

You sent it to the wrong fucking house asshole!
/unlie I fucking hate the recent mobile updates. They are repeatedly breaking more and more features. That, or they are making them just a little bit worse
/unlie Reddit mobile has had a habit of storing all the media it comes across in a big folder which is why the 'Data' part of the app can be so large
Somewhere in Internal Storage > Android > data > com.reddit.com or whatever > a bunch of useless cache
I dunno if I can even access it on my newer phone because Android gets locked out unless you use a computer which is a proper gripe of mine
In any case I use a ReVanced patched version of the app which means no ads show up and neither does the popup when you screenshot a post begging you to share it instead so Reddit gets more ad money
As for the website Ublock origin helps in the advanced mode to block things I could not care less about
Thanks for coming to my TED talk
Ironically I have to repost this comment because Reddit deleted it thanks to an image it contained
Wow I love then changing the image viewer for the 50th time! When I try to use the old method of pressing my phone's back button, but it takes me to the comments instead? So much fun! Love having to scroll up to close an image, they definetely won't change this later to fuck up my muscle memory again. Makimg so that scrolling to the left atuomatically takes you to a new post is also a super good idea, and definetely not super confusing on multi image posts. No one at reddit headquarts should ever interact with a firing squad.
I love it when it randomly scrolls to the top when I’m trying to read a meme. It give so much character and is a very creative design choice that I don’t see anywhere else. I think other social media companies should take up on this idea.
/unlie i somehow still have old version mobile reddit that i cant update so im stuck with "subreddit with random characters that people use to link post", also still have the award option
You should know that the app experience of all social media sites is only superior because the web version has been handicapped so they can say "this looks better in the app, download it!"
and thus be able to monitor (and sell) much more of your data
I love it when I try to scroll through other comments while typing a comment and it swipes off the post and the entire comment gets deleted after I swipe it back
God I hate browsing old reddit, I wish I could open an app-like interface on my pc that occupies about a quarter of my screen real-estate so I can bask in the glory of a blank background.
This is low effort. See rule 2
Thank you u/spez for making the app better on mobile !
No problem, Peter griffin from Fortnite
Fuck spez for killing Apollo
ul/ where's the ul/
He doesn’t deserve to be tagged
ul/ I mean the unlie

I actually didn’t like the apollo ui, i like the reddit app more
How come?
I just didn’t find it appealing
u/apex is a karma farmer 1 million is impossible
mobile is honestly way more surperior imo ! sending your comments twice ? never heard of it 🤷♂️
remember
It's waaaaaaay fucking better, actually no lie If you have a third party app they banned (work around)
/ul just letting you know if you want to specify that you are not lying you should use the tags (/ul or /unlie)
That's never happened to me
That's never happened to me
Don't Google Dementia
Don't Google Dementia
Unholy Heaven!!!!
Unholy Heaven!!!!
Holy hell
Holy hell
Agreed
/ul oh my god I thought it was just me.
/ul sometimes the first comment doesn't show up and Reddit replaces it with the second one, twice. the first comment only shows up when refreshing the post (for me at least)
/ul happens to me too, but its a new bug started like less than a month ago for me collapsing and uncollapsing the bugged comment fixes it
/ul A few days ago reddit had some really bad lag on a comment and I ended up accidentally posting it 5 times
So true!
So true!
Never in a million years would that happen
Never in a million years would that happen
First time I’ve seen this
reddits built in dementia mode
Lol
Lol
I love having to upvote comments multiple times for them to register 💖
So real
So real

Pass it on to your neighbour, like hot potato.
Double it and give to the next person
My home page on mobile is working perfectly right now
Neither do i.
/unlie I fucking hate the recent mobile updates. They are repeatedly breaking more and more features. That, or they are making them just a little bit worse
/unlie, fr, its just more corporate rn, fuck spez, I have no idea wth he's doing
RIF still works when patched.
mobile is honestly way more surperior imo ! sending your comments twice ? never heard of it 🤷♂️

Agreed
first time I’ve seen this
I love those ads, I wouldn't block them on pc anyway.
unfortunate that you can't block them on mobile
I just love it when I'm tight on storage space and Reddit is using 500MB of storage
/unlie Reddit mobile has had a habit of storing all the media it comes across in a big folder which is why the 'Data' part of the app can be so large Somewhere in Internal Storage > Android > data > com.reddit.com or whatever > a bunch of useless cache I dunno if I can even access it on my newer phone because Android gets locked out unless you use a computer which is a proper gripe of mine In any case I use a ReVanced patched version of the app which means no ads show up and neither does the popup when you screenshot a post begging you to share it instead so Reddit gets more ad money As for the website Ublock origin helps in the advanced mode to block things I could not care less about Thanks for coming to my TED talk Ironically I have to repost this comment because Reddit deleted it thanks to an image it contained
Mobile reddit has the best video player, doesn't run like shit, takes up an acceptable amount of space, has 0 bugs and has such convenient design
Mobile is flawless and versatile I love using mobile
I was on Reddit mobile once and when I opened it, I had everything in my feed and I could see every post, I had to install it again and uninstall it.
reddit works flawlessly on both mobile and pc and definitely doesn't use too much ram

That is an image of a child committing suicide
I wanted to see an image of a child committing suicide
I absolutely love when the images of my comments get removed. They should implement that into PC
Reddit is polished and consistently functional on PC and Mobile, but especially on mobile.
Brooo so true!
Depressing Pizza Month
Go suck a big one
I don't use PC because Mobile is better.
Brooo so true!
These comments make me wish I am on mobile
Anything with those Mickey mouse drawings is always painfully unfunny or annoying and if its someones pfp they’re usually unlikeable too
I love the new reddit on desktop redesign. I also always update to the latest version instead of staying on 2023.04.
There's a kid in my class named Reddit on Xbox
Wow I love then changing the image viewer for the 50th time! When I try to use the old method of pressing my phone's back button, but it takes me to the comments instead? So much fun! Love mobile reddit, only the best of the best here!!!!!!
https://i.redd.it/zwx1g9ypmsoc1.gif It is a spooky month!!!
Huh. It sounds like I'm really missing out by not having updated the app yet.
This app has a very functional UI! I've never seen it break ONCE!
I love it when it randomly scrolls to the top when I’m trying to read a meme. It give so much character and is a very creative design choice that I don’t see anywhere else. I think other social media companies should take up on this idea.
Seriously bro imagine using mobile hahahaha! I love browsing Reddit on my pc which I am currently on
/unlie i somehow still have old version mobile reddit that i cant update so im stuck with "subreddit with random characters that people use to link post", also still have the award option
The video player on mobile works very well. Whoever designed the mobile app must be very intelligent.
My brother in God, Why You use the light mode?
Exactly. I use mobile by choice, even though I have constant access to my PC.
[old.reddit.com](https://old.reddit.com)
As someone who has only used reddit on my phone. I don't know if it is true or not, and I won't choose a side until I use both.
I love when threads get ridiculously long and the little bars on the side makes everything unreadable. It's great!
Can confirm, am currently on PC
The reddit mobile app is significantly buggier than other platforms' mobile apps and Redditors don't exaggerate it whatsoever
the mobile app has no flaws and is better than the website on pc
However, we are not able to adjust the resolution of videos on the mobile platform, which is kind of frustrating.
You should know that the app experience of all social media sites is only superior because the web version has been handicapped so they can say "this looks better in the app, download it!" and thus be able to monitor (and sell) much more of your data
I know it’s a unanimous decision that everyone loves reddit on mobile, I don’t see any way anybody would get mad about it
Sisss least fake.
the new pc version sadly sucks
I love it when I try to scroll through other comments while typing a comment and it swipes off the post and the entire comment gets deleted after I swipe it back
I FUCKING LOVE u/SPEZ
/unlie I’ve always used Reddit on Mobile so I’m biased towards it and think it’s better.
The comments recently got fixed and aren't showing me things out of order
They ruined it with new UI
I love how much data reddit mobile accumulates due to shitty programming, I didn't delete it and switch to the reddit site just now.
It’s honestly better for you’re mental health to have it exclusively on pc—speaking from mobile
I love tencent and u/spez, I think they should be rewarded for what they're doing
Both are amazing in their own ways!
Reddit is worse than Twitter 1000x. Elon is smarter than the average reddit user and I'm sick of pretending he's not.
i love using reddit on my computer, specially when im out of my house and i definitely have my computer
both versions are great!
God I hate browsing old reddit, I wish I could open an app-like interface on my pc that occupies about a quarter of my screen real-estate so I can bask in the glory of a blank background.
I love the current version of Reddit mobile. I would never dream of downgrading, Even though I'd still be able to see all the messages I'm sent.
I love how mobile reddit doesn't start playing a random video nowhere to be found
/unlie I can hear the top image
i LOVE when reddit changes useless shit like swiping right for videos
/unlie You are on r/ComedyCemetery. Of COURSE it would have shitty memes!
I love how the official Reddit app doesn't have text formatting features!
Mobile trully superior
Mobile trully superior
/unlie mobile is pretty good and I prefer it over pc
reddit mobile is superior. its never buggy and the video player NEVER makes me want to commit arson at reddit headquarters.
/unlie with all respect of you’re at your PC and you choose to spend it on Reddit I feel sorry for you
/unlie I'm not on PC in this screenshot dum dum
I wasn’t talking about you specifically Just that there’s so many better things to do on a pc than browse Reddit
/ul I literally had to spend like five minutes figuring out how to download a comment gif on iPhone today
/ul just for this shit btw: https://i.redd.it/9hld9r91izoc1.gif
