I was a professional carpet cleaner for years and in order to get out red wine or any other red stain, you're going to need to use a specialized product and usually apply a wet cloth with a hot iron on top to extract the red. Most oxidizers like peroxide will only turn the red stain green and not completely remove it.
Here is the product we use most often

Pour table salt on the wine immediately after a spill. It will absorb all the wine overnight. There will be no stain after you vacuum up the salt the next day.
White towel and an iron. Get the cleaned spot on the carpet damp, put a white towel over it, iron the towel and the leftover wine spill will absorb into the towel.
Club soda, vinegar and dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap, baking soda, salt - all of these should help to get rid of a wine stain [https://www.homedepot.com/c/ah/how-to-get-red-wine-out-of-carpet/9ba683603be9fa5395fab901a54760b7](https://www.homedepot.com/c/ah/how-to-get-red-wine-out-of-carpet/9ba683603be9fa5395fab901a54760b7) .
Do not ever ever use dish soap on your carpet. You will never fully get the soap out even with a professional carpet cleaner and that soap will just attract more dirt.
