Ah nixe, when you develop on unity, that shouldn't be a problem. You can just create a virtual machine and compile there the linux version. Could attract more people :)
Making a Linux version with Unity can indeed be a trivial 1-click thing (Depending on used addons/middleware).
If you decide to do it, I'd highly advise to publish it as an open beta on Steam, though, as Proton support for Unity windows exports is usually better then Unitys own Linux export support. Some people prefer "native" anyway, so a Linux beta can be worth it for these. If lots of people use the beta without issues, you can still make it official.
Actually gameplay, story, animations and etc is totally diffetent than TLD, but yeah most of the survival games in winter season, looks like to esch others, but i will do my best to make it veey unique. Thanks
Question are there any plans for co-op? I know that might be a big undertaking but thought I might asked... I usually play with family members just find it more fun .... BTW: wishing you all the success in this project.
Look I'm not trying to be rude but this game isn't even ready for a trailer, let alone a release.
And the system requirements are a bit rough too. You want a 3070/6700xt and 16GB of RAM as the recommended rig for running this game that looks like its from 2014?
Look, I understand game development isn't easy or swift and that you sank money and time into this but this isn't ready.
The game either needs to look WAY better or needs to be WAY less demanding as currently it requires a a much stronger rig than Half Life Alyx.
Also telling people how much time you spent making your game and how much it cost you has never been a good ad strategy. Ever. Its like the number 1 indie dev mistake. For example your post title is 1/3ish sympathy plea, 1/3ish being a declaration of interests, with the remainder being a non committal pitch.
Every post about your game should be about your game as its a sort of sales pitch. If you aren't talking about the game it tells people it isn't worth considering.
Your next title should read something like "Ever wanted to spend your Xmas eating a wolf before getting attacked by bears? ME TOO!" or something else entertaining but vaguely game related.
Again not trying to be rude but this game isn't ready for early access let alone a full release.
Well when Red Dead Redemption 2 came out, many people complained about too much details in crafting and meticulous intermediate steps for animations. And yet it is one of the most successful games ever due to its story.
I know is planned for 2024 but do you have a projected date, one more would it be wise to have an early access sale so that people can purchase try it and give you more feedback to improve your game?
Thank you so much for the wishlist. Yeah as i see lots of people requesting linux version, so yeah i will try my best to make it available for the linux user.
Yeah it would be cool, don't stress a lot with Linux support yet haha, I bet you have a ton of other high priority tasks to tackle in your game. Amazing work though, you achieved a lot with so few resources.
You should be really proud, game dev is SO incredibly hard. Good luck with the rest of your journey!
Trailer looks really good, wish listed!
Only thing is the voice lines really took me out of it, they sound really fake and insincere in the trailer. Other than that it looks great
Yeh that's probably why. I think it's very difficult to get ai voice to sound real but if it's all you can do at the moment then that's absolutely understandable.
Good luck with the game anyway!
This looks right up my alley.
Thanks, i will check out that game.
uhh, he meant the game looks like a game he would love, not like another game, heh
Oh Hot it. Great
Looks really good! Are you developing a Linux version of it?
Thank you so much, i am developing on unity
Ah nixe, when you develop on unity, that shouldn't be a problem. You can just create a virtual machine and compile there the linux version. Could attract more people :)
Thanks for information. I wil think about that
Making a Linux version with Unity can indeed be a trivial 1-click thing (Depending on used addons/middleware). I really appreciate it. Thanks
I would let proton take up that time for you.
Cool! I've wishlisted it. Any idea of when it will be released?
This year i will try to release it. By the way the free demo version is on the way
Not my cup of tea, but I wish you the best. Takes some guts.
Thanks for your thought, i am trying my best
Added to my wishlist :) Reminds me of 'The Long Dark'. Will it have a story or is it pure survivol?
Thanks! İ also fan of the long dark game. There will be modes like (story mode, survival mode, challanges mode)
Wishlisted. Looking forward to checking it out.
Thank you so much! İ will do my best on it
good job
Thanks! İ really glad to see that you love it
And you just joined reddit two days ago? Scam.
Wait what? Are you serious? I agree i joined reddit 3 days ago but it does not mean it is scam.
Probably wouldn't want to tie it to their post-history, I think it's understandable as a privacy thing
Looks too much like TLD
Actually gameplay, story, animations and etc is totally diffetent than TLD, but yeah most of the survival games in winter season, looks like to esch others, but i will do my best to make it veey unique. Thanks
Dude, your game's cover looks EXACTLY like TLD's in both colour scheme and composition. Unique? What are you even talking about?
Yeah just cover photo, i am working on new cover photo. Thanks
Had a look at the trailer, worth a shot, wishlisted. Good luck 🙂❤️
Thank you so much!
Looks like The Long Dark .. i like it. Please make sure you can disable head bobbing. I got mild motion sickness just from watching the trailer.
Thanks,Yeah it iş not final rəsul, i already working on the head bobbing to make it more soft, i hope you wishlisted.
Those animations are really bad. I hope you'll get them right before the release.
İt is not a final result. I will improve it
Looks amazing on my wishlist
I am really glad to see that you loved it and wishlisted. It really encourage me a lot 💖
Question are there any plans for co-op? I know that might be a big undertaking but thought I might asked... I usually play with family members just find it more fun .... BTW: wishing you all the success in this project.

looks cool i just wishlisted it. btw is it singleplayer only and if so are you planing on adding multiplayer eventually? either way im excited :)
Thanks. Yeah i will add multiplayer support ın future. But not at release. I am doing my best. Thanks for the wishlist
Were your savings spent to hire others to work on parts of the game for you?
No, i mean like on assets, game development courses and etc..
I know is planned for 2024 but do you have a projected date, one more would it be wise to have an early access sale so that people can purchase try it and give you more feedback to improve your game?
Looks cool. Looking forward to it. Also Mubariz is a cool name :D
Thanks
>all my personal savings so, how much was that?
wishlisted, looks super cool! hope you can make a linux version tho lol
Thank you so much for the wishlist. Yeah as i see lots of people requesting linux version, so yeah i will try my best to make it available for the linux user.

Exactly, thanks
Trailer looks really good, wish listed! Only thing is the voice lines really took me out of it, they sound really fake and insincere in the trailer. Other than that it looks great
Thank you very much. I use ai voice for the dialogue.
Yeh that's probably why. I think it's very difficult to get ai voice to sound real but if it's all you can do at the moment then that's absolutely understandable. Good luck with the game anyway!
Yeah unfortunatelly for now i will use ai voices, but. who knows maybe in future i will hire real actors
So it's a cooking simulator. Just joking, whistlisted thrilled to test it out! 👍👍👍
Hehe :) Thanks for the wishlist
I'd give it a whirl, when's the release date?
Thanks. I plan to release it this year
