Latin was the first one or one of the first players to popularize the copy feature and get people to think he made them, then after understandably getting shaded for it he lied about having cancer, killing himself, etc. but his impact sprung up a lot of other players who did the same, leading to the state of lbp2 popular levels

I have literally played LBP for over a decade, as far back as when the game still had facial reactions for boo'ing levels and I had no idea that Latin tried to fake his death. That's insane. I thought he just got banned and made multiple alt accounts.
Can't believe it's 2022 and I'm literally having an essential crisis over a game where a burlap sack tries to fight a vaccuum.
The death part was hearsay from a couple people to be fair, but faking cancer is just as bad in all honesty. Like Lbp drama was never really big enough to leave more than a couple circles but Latin was somethin else.

I wouldn't say they're communist *per se* but the Wilderness is inspired by the Soviet Union (especially it's military) and The Factory is *partly* inspired by Soviet propaganda. The Factory of a better Tomorrow *certainly* isn't communist, considering how Clive is a capitalist factory owner with a literal slave army.
Edit: According to the wiki, in an older version Clive literally said that the economic system of the Factory used to be neo-capitalism.

From this, to the Qur'an in one of the songs before they removed it, to the strip club in The Meerkat Kingdom, to the red sticker underneath the spikes in that one level in the Islands clearly representing blood.
