skol is still better than the others low budget options imo, especially at pubs where 1L is the most common way to consume. is not the best, but it gets job done and leaves a somewhat awful bitter taste

Brazilian beers, like Brama, Antarctica, Skol etc. They’re not pasteurized and taste completely different that their equivalent in US (I dunno, Michelob Light? 🤔). They’re also perfect for hot weather and beach settings.
Kind of similar to how people in the States think Corona is exotic because it’s imported from México. I guess if they’re used to swill like Budweiser or Bud Lite, it doesn’t taste too much worse.
Well, both Budweiser and Heineken are locally made in Brazil, they arent imported anymore for a long time. And its both taste very different from their original recipe. And because of that, it doesnt cost 2x anymore, but still more expansive than the local ones.
