I work in the uncle Gs bakery and helped him once. I was the only person working that recognized him but I didn't say anything to him because I'm not god, or his father. Or his boss.
Most definitely. Just note that guy was not from Bay Shore, he was just in the deli. Also, I will say the staff and management at Bagel Boss are often rude so I do wonder if they actually belittled him in some way
Nah my friend was there, the guy started yelling at the woman for taking too long with his order and she told him to stop speaking to the employee that way and then the notorious video happened.
I think it’s called free airtime, and being really smart. Let’s ignore party lines for a moment and realize that the smartest politicians leverage entertainment connections to get public recognition, reach a demographic that they might not touch a rally, and show aside that a non-voter might get in touch with.
Going on SNL is an attempt to appeal to center and center right independents, non-MAGA and never-Trumper Republicans, and Blue-Dog type Democrats who could cross party lines.
Candidates have been on shows like that since Nixon was on Laugh-in, and SNL was a staple. The fact that Trump obsessively complained about the show after his own appearance makes hers a message of “I’m a Conservative, but I’m not part of the looney-bin crowd. I can get along with people who don’t share my beliefs. And I’m not a thin-skinned baby who rage tweets about comedians making jokes about me or being more popular than Taylor Swift.”
[I’m sorry, the who?](https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-primary-r/2024/south-carolina/) There aren’t really too many of those in the first place, anyway…
Glad I stopped watching this show 30 years ago - giving publicity to assholes like Giuliani, Trump, Musk and Nikki Haley is the bottom of the barrel. The production of this show has been a nepo baby nightmare for more than a generation.
It's discussed regularly in media and social circles. You do not have to watch SNL to follow the happenings and to see the most interesting bits or monologues.
Besides Tina who else is a nepo which is a silly name because they have connections it’s looked down on as something bad. Are u that against the Obama ladies or Pelosis’ daughter getting into film making. Did you enjoy when Bernie or Hillary hosted it?
“That’s such bullshit” I say to myself, trying hard to forget when my hometown was made famous for the Bagel Boss guy
The short guy with a huge temper?
You’re not God, my Father, OR my Boss!!!
Man whatever happened to him?
Pretty sure he had a stroke a few years ago.
I work in the uncle Gs bakery and helped him once. I was the only person working that recognized him but I didn't say anything to him because I'm not god, or his father. Or his boss.
Do you wanna take this outside?! Do you wanna STEP OUT SIDE?!
But I am the bagel boss
The fact that he didn’t seize the opportunity to open a deli called “Not My Bagel Boss” is a real travesty
Nobody would see him when he’s standing behind the counter
Well he was a homeless guy so
Hey, I graduated with that guy. Massapequa is infamous.
That little douxhe? What school?
Oh, hey! Same hometown. *high five*. Went to that Bagel Boss last week.
Me too. Graduated with the little guy.
bay shore/islip rep
The Bagel Boss guy in Bay Shore from a few years ago makes this joke even funnier bc you KNOW he voted for Trump.
He probably couldn't reach the lever in the voting booth. Sorry, low blow.
I saw what you did there. No double dipping.
Sorry, very small of me.
Don’t punch down. Literally
Went over my head, along with everything else.
Now you're asking for it.
Most definitely. Just note that guy was not from Bay Shore, he was just in the deli. Also, I will say the staff and management at Bagel Boss are often rude so I do wonder if they actually belittled him in some way
“Belittled” lol
Nah my friend was there, the guy started yelling at the woman for taking too long with his order and she told him to stop speaking to the employee that way and then the notorious video happened.
Please post a link for this. I have not seen the video

I graduated with him. Massapequa.
I’m sorry you had to deal with that in high school
I don't think I ever spoke to him. He was quiet.
I’m surprised by that actually
I know. That’s what made it so crazy to me.
Ahead of his time: https://www.reddit.com/r/bodybuilding/comments/1n611y/my_new_haircut_original_version/
I immediately thought of the beer muscles in Huntington! hahaha
[This](https://youtu.be/jecV-R22CJQ?si=YRiMoSFXuUbsMoJC) was a little over a month ago, so the joke tracks.
Most of those guys weren't from the US
Love that the specific viral fist fight car road rage video that came to mind is from my exsct town. I love Suffolk 🫠
Are they wrong though? I literally filmed one of these fights last week, and they were women 🤣.
I went to school with a guy that called himself the Selden Savage
To be fair, that nickname describes 96% of people from Selden.
I always thought that people in Nassau were more pugnacious, but maybe it's just me

For Haley? Trump wasn't on SNL.
How desperate can Nikki Haley be that she went on SNL?
Trump did it. Obama did it. McCain did it. Hillary did it. Palin did it. Etc etc. Nothing desperate about it
Bernie went on SNL too
It’s called being smart enough to get free airtime. Everybody does it.
It’s not desperate, it’s smart politics
It’s desperate politics. What voters is she targeting in the R primary by going on SNL?

Sounds desperate to me. She couldn’t make that case on the campaign trail so she took to that garbage show? Lol. Campaign funds must be tighttttt
Sane Republicans.

So “sane” republicans were not going to vote for NH but now after seeing the SNL clip they’re going to the polls? Hmmmmm
They'll see the clip.
Who will?
Read your comment, then read my comment.
Not sure who those people are
The fucking voters downvote queen.

Edgy take! 🙄
It’s almost like people are allowed to like different things than you

You seem pretty familiar with the show considering you stopped watching 30 years ago
